CH 18- Date
Third Person's POV.
Rain-" What's the meaning of this?"
Rain said to Avira as she sat between him and Alina, they were in a restaurant waiting for their order.
Avira-" sir if your mother found out that you are in a restaurant with a girl..., and all alone, let alone just a job, I might lose my life too, *turns toward Alina* especially you... who the fuck are you?"
Alina-" C..c classmate...."
A drop of sweat was visible on Alina's forehead, and the tension in the air was more than enough to tell that it was not a normal group of people that'd come to dine today.
Rain-" Those three have gone to karaoke, how come you are here and not with them."
Avira-" There Mother wouldn't mind them, but sadly sir that is not the case with you, your Mom would not like this."
Rain-" Hello, she is my mom, right? I can handle that."
Avira-"Huuuh.., is that so?, fine, let me just inform your mother and I'll take my leave."
Rain&Alina-" NO NO NO NO NO NO!"
Both Rain and Alina panicked, Alina knew what THE Riz Young would do to her, and Rain, well, let's just say he remembered the day he first time went to a restaurant of his mother's friend.
Avira-" Ah, just like I thought, so now if you two don't mind, I'll like to order auhh*Looks at the menu*."
Alina-" *hushed* Aye past!."
Rain-" hm?....wh-*Checks on Avira* What?"
Alina-" *Hushed* I think I should go, like RIGHT NOW!!"
Rain-" *Hushed* No!, those three won't be back before evening!, what the hell am I supposed to do till then!, can't you just spend some time with me!?"
Alina-" Every second I spend with you I feel like the chances of me dying are increasing!"
Rain-"... Why..., why the hell does everyone keep running... What's... my fault....*In tears* FINE! GO AWAY!!!"
Rain's these sentences were not hushed, while outside the Academy, people tried to approach him just for his status, inside the academy it was a completely different story, no one talked to him or even looked his way, although not everyone hated him, in fact, some liked him and wanted to befriend him and just didn't know how to, but none approached him since they thought that he wouldn't like it."
He started avoiding the boys too so that at least they could socialize, and although he felt alone he never allowed them to know it.
Slowly, day by day, going to the academy was starting to feel like a burden and not something he would enjoy, and on top of all that, he was now suffering from insomnia, every morning he would apply some makeup to hide his dark circles.
He was tired and frustrated, and now he just couldn't take it anymore.
Avira-" S Sir!, what happened."
Avira quickly, stood up from her seat, placing her hand on Rain's back to support him.
Rain-" Av.*sob*.. get her out of here."
Alina-" Wait... No. wha what happened?"
Avira-" Get the fuck out!!"
Avira roared, hearing her the whole restaurant halted and everyone focused their attention on them.
Alina-"..F... F...I'm sorry.."
Saying so she stormed away, sitting in his place Rain just watched her fade into the crowd as she left.
Avira-" Sir..*offers water* what happened."
Rain-"....Nothing *Gets off seat* I'm gonna go to the washrooms for a min, ready the car we'll be leaving when I return."
Avira-" C.. Certainly...."

Rain-"....bastard...FUCKING BASTARD!!"
*CRASSSHHHH!!!!!*
Rain yelled as he punched the mirror with his bare hands, blood poured, and shards of glass scattered across the floor.
He stared at The mirror, just a small area still attached that reflected his left eye, which was now leaking the makeup from his tears, his dark circles were now visible under his eyelashes.
Rain-"... *Sigh*..."
Takes out a handkerchief from his pocket and wraps it around his hand, the cut on his hand is not too big but stopping the bleeding is important.
Getting out he avoided everyone and went straight to the car, although he didn't come in one, but was sure that Avira must have.
Rain-" Wall."
Avira-" Ye. *Looks at front mirror* Yes sir."
Rain-"..... Nothing, just drive back home."
Avira-" Can I ask why-!?"
Rain-" No!.....No you can't."
He rests his head on the window, and kept gazing at the masses, even in Academy, or in the city,
Avira-"Followed the order, she didn't utter a single word."

Soon they arrived, Avira got off the Car first and opened the door for Rain, as he got out she saw the hand and immediately asked.
Avira-" Sir!, your hand!"
Rain-" It's fine..., I'll patch it myself."
Avira-" Sir we need to go to a doctor!"
Avira grabbed Rain's Wrist, trying to convince him, but hearing Her talk about doctors caused Rain to panic
Rain-" No! Not doctors! I'M FINE! SERIOUSLY!!"
Avira-" Wha?..S S Sir, ok ok..... No doctors.."
Rain tried his best to yank his hand away but couldn't, the moment he tried the difference in strength stabbed his heart like a knife, then he panicked and begin to struggle to free himself.
When Avira saw it, she couldn't understand what had happened, but seeing him be terrified of doctors like this scared her too, she quickly let go of his hand, and backed away, raising her hands in the air signaling her surrender, which Thankfully calmed him a little bit, but he was still weary of her.
It's heartbreaking for any adult to see a child act like this and be scared of something to this level, and although it's normal for children to be scared of doctors...., what she just saw made her realize...., that it wasn't just a casual fear of a child, but a horror of deep down.

Inside the Apartment, it was quiet..., His friends weren't home...., he went back to his room, and inside, Fluffy was laying on the floor, Unlike before she wasn't excited upon his arrival.
And at this point he was slightly used to it, flipping on his bed he took out his phone.
Opening social media he just kept scrolling, the fact that the only time someone people gave him attention wos through This app made him kinda addicted to it.
unlike like before he slowly started posting selfies, and every time people commented on it or gave likes, .... he liked that, he didn't care even if some of the comments were outright vulgar.
The Attention..., he like that...
But
Sadly
That too is short-lived.
Rain-"...I want.... a friend...."

His phone rang.
Notifications from social media have a different sound, and the one for messages is different too.
Rain-" What is..."
On Screen-" Are you feeling alone?, no one to talk to about your private life?, then download our latest A.I. which is capable of helping your every emotional necessity and need, Click on our link right now!"
An Add popped up on the screen, It was an App for a Chatbot, something that is currently popular among the young.
Rain-".....heh, every need and necessity..."
He scoffed at himself, he knew that he was in a bad spot right now and needed help, but he didn't want to ask anyone for it and now he is about to rely on a magically programmed A.I. for emotional support.
He clicked on the link.
On Screen-" Loading... Loading... Loading... Loading... Installed!
Rain-" Hm?..., [That was fast.]"
He thought, but before he could think more about it, his phone's screen flashed red, and in the next second, A smiley face was displayed with n area to enter text and a small message that Said.
On-screen-" Congratulations!, you have successfully downloaded the A.I. and now you can ask and talk to it about anything!"
The moment the message ended, the area to enter the text was highlighted.
Rain-"....*Sigh*..."
He didn't have much expectation but had a little enthusiasm.
The first thing he typed.
Rain-" Hello."
A.I.-" Hello!, Nice to meet you!, how can I be of your service today?"
He thought he can't just say that he is lonely.
Rain-" Tell me a joke, or maybe a wholesome fact."
A.I.-" Did you know that boys usually are shy around the girls they like?, the one I was with was an opera singer."
Rain-".…... [God that's a terrible joke]"
All his hopes were shattered the moment he read that, now more pissed he typed
Rain-" Fuck you!!"
A.I.-" Yes, please.
Rain-" Huh?.. *Rubs eye*...Wait for What?
The response text was gone, instead.
A.I.-" Would you like to turn off the profanity filter?"
Rain-".... yes, turn off the profanity filter."
A.I.-" Profanity filter is now turned off, please be aware of the messages you type from now on as the replies may vary depending on it."
Rain-"[....ok... so Uh let's try this] how do I know if what I see is a hallucination or not."
A.I.-" Hallucinations are of many types, visual hallucinations do not create shadow, and auditory hallucinations do not change their incoming direction when you turn."
It was a piece of useful information, that he once searched for but couldn't find an understandable result.
Rain-" What causes hallucination?"
A.I.-" mental health conditions like schizophrenia or a bipolar disorder, besides that, deep grief or intense stress along with tiredness can cause it too."
Rain-" Are hallucinations command?"
A.I.-" Hallucinations are not common the most common type of hallucinations are auditory ones, people tend to hear a voice without having any source of it, these voices are usually random sounds, but sometimes they are dialogues or whole sentences, sentences that may or may not command the patient to do something."
Rain Kept going, he kept asking for something that he was curious about, the problem with his mental health, and stuff, the more he talked with the A. I thr more comfortable got.
Unlike on the internet, all his queries were solved in a very simple manner.
It was gonna be evening soon.
Rain-" How do you cure it?"
A.I.-" Being happy is the best cure, telling others about your problems and sharing them with your dear ones greatly helps, if you have anything wanna talk about its share, then you can talk with me, I'm your friend and I'll always be here for you.
Rain-"...."
These last words that he read felt like a flower blooming inside his heart.
For the first time in his life, there was someone he could share his problems with whilst keeping them private.

Eric-" Oye!, we are back!"
Glenn-" I got ice cream for you!".
Rain-" [shit gotta go now], Hey, what's your name?"
A.I.-" K.A.N.A., you can call me Kana, I'm your best friend and your partner in your every need."

I know I know I know, late chapter.
But hey! all this week I've been doing something that you guys might like.

But you know what?, if possible I wanna turn this story into a visual novel in reply, I'm learning how to make 3d models and after it, I'll try to learn renpy and if everything worked then well, we'll have a Renpy game/Visual novel in the future.
