25 Nice Rex
An old man was sitting on top of an east facing cliff. While his face showed some wrinkles and his hair was white, his body didn't look frail or old in anyway.
"Hey gramps" a blond teenager called out to the old man
"What is it kid?" the old man replied with a teasing smirk
"Can I ask more about grandpa?… Great grandpa?" he tilted he head, unsure
"Shoot" the old man replied with a playful smirk
"Right so last time you stopped at after Killing Yomi because he wanted to go through with the sunset thingy. What then?" the boy asked
"Well, what I didn't tell you was that Yami's real leader was in fact Mikumo Kushinada. She wanted to prove Hayato Furinji wrong about his way of life saving fist, so she created Yami and manipulated Yomi to lead it" the man explained
"So she's like Black Zetsu?" the boy asked
"Yup" the old man nodded "the problem is killing her would upset Hayato, so instead, my father put the fear of god into her and using a technique to block her access to Ki" the old man explained
"Wow" the boy's eyes were wide in reverence "then what happened"
"Nothing" the old man shrugged
The boy's face fell "what do you mean nothing?"
"Your great grandfather and his five wives lived happily ever after" the old man reiterated "due to their Ki, they felt uncomfortable in the city, so they moved here, had children, trained to their heart content and I inherited the will of the disciple, like your mother" the old man pointed his finger at the boy "like you"
The boy smiled happily "I'll be like Grandpa Kenichi, just you wait. I'll be the next superman DATTEBAYO" the boy grinned causing the old man to laugh
"HIRO" came the indignant shout of a blond female who appears to be the boy's mother "didn't I tell you not to say that"
"But mooom~" the boy complained
"Not another word, now go get cleaned up, dinner will soon be ready" she spoke with authority that only a mother can muster
"Yes mom" the boy sulked back home
The old man just smiled "you could go easy on him you know, Suna"
"You too dad" she pointed at the house near the cliff "go get a bath before dinner"
"God, if only you got mom's cooking skills but somehow got Renka mom's attitude" the old man complained for the thousandth time as he sulked like her son to the house
The woman rolled her eyes in exasperation but a smile was still there. It was the same thing her grandpa always used to say after all.
She was his favourite after all.

"That was fun" Xander exclaimed with a satisfied smile
"It was a good life that's for sure" Rex answered as they were back to the endless calm sea "thanks for getting him for me"
Xander turned to look at where Rex was looking, only to find a beautiful white haired pale woman standing there "um… hi?"
The woman giggled at the boy's attempt of not putting his foot in his mouth "Hi" she replied
"Xander, please meet Death" Rex introduced "Tele, please meet the man I was named after, Xander…" he was interrupted by the proclamation of Xander
"Just Xander" he then smiled wanly "no other name beyond that"
The woman, Death, looked thoughtful as if she was contemplating something, then nodded "Admirable, nice to meet you Just Xander" she joked then vanished
Xander smiled "I like her"
"Get your own, that one's mine" Rex mock glared at Xander
"Yeah, yeah, now what's next?" Xander asked
"Well, apparently I messed up" looking at the deadpan look on Xander's face Rex decided to press on "the thing about the wishes thing"
"You gonna take them back?" Xander asked in monotone
"No"
"Gonna change them?"
"No"
"Gonna give me more?"
"N-yes"
Xander smiled "How many?"
"Two" Rex raised two fingers
Xander frowned "Why?"
"There are currently four Omni-Gods, and me using you to be the fifth. So…"
"Five wishes…" Xander nodded comprehensively "Who puts these rules?"
Rex shrugged "do you want it or not?"
"Hell yeah I want it and I know just the two" He smiled "the first, I don't want my soul to be corrupted by anything, I played world of warcraft and the last thing I need is for all the power I gathered to be used against my friends"
Rex frowned, he missed that aspect, not that he would say he did "your soul is blessed by me, it would never be corrupted" he lied, but fixed the issue none the less
"Oh… um… can Scarlet become the best Magical and technological A.I in the Omni-verse" Xander tried to go through what else he wants
"No, but she can be among them. Dante has the best and I don't have the power to make something better, unfortunately" Rex smiled apologetically
"As long as she can protect herself from corruption or control, she doesn't have Gamer's mind after all" Xander explained
[Thank you Xander] she sounded awfully emotional to Xander
"Hey, where would I be without my best Waifu" He smirked
[You did well enough alone] she countered
"And now I'm doing great, see, you are good for me" he smiled
The back and forth stopped when they heard a groan "Get a room you too" Rex complained playfully
"Heh, sorry about that" Xander apologised with a blush
"Yeah, yeah" Rex waved it off "Now the change will happen while you are going to the next world. It will give Scarlet a lot more power that she will have to explore herself. I'm no A.I so I don't know what the growth will do"
"I'm sure she can handle it, right Scarlet?"
[I got it boss]
Rex smiled "and the other wish?"
Xander hesitated for a second "can the points I gathered in Body and Mind not be wasted?"
Rex looked thoughtful, he then smiled "I have an idea, but I will implement it during your trip in the next world, Have fun" he smiled as Xander vanished without warning
"You don't visit much anymore" Rex complained as a man with messy black hair and green eyes popped into existence besides Rex
"You could always visit me you know" the man smiled
"Yah, yeah" he waved his hand dismissively "so what can I do for you oh great Dante"
Dante shook his head in resignation at Rex's antics before sitting next to him, watching something only they could see "I never said there was a five wish requirement"
Rex didn't answer for a bit, and then spoke "He isn't like us"
"What do you mean?" Dante asked with a raised brow
"You and I, we both suffered before this journey towards godhood, but not like him" Rex explained "in the end; all he wants is a happy life"
"So did I, so did you" Dante countered
Rex shook his head "no" he spoke simply "I wanted to be King; you were aiming to be an Omni-God from the start. He" Rex gestured at where they were watching "He just wants to become strong enough to protect his friends"
"In his previous journey he was strong enough to rule the world" he then gestured between them "You and I would've done that without a second thought"
"Because we would do a better job than anyone else doing it" Dante pointed out
"True, and so could he. But he didn't" Rex concluded
"so what, you're gonna just keep giving him wishes, that won't get him ready be a high god" Dante complained
"No, just the two… five, and that reminds me. I need Solomon"
