24 Small Talk
Standing in the middle of the arena were all the participants of the tournament. Though to call it an arena is an insult to the coliseum like building. Several of the participants were getting jumpy at all the attention they were getting. Xander was amusing himself using them to take his mind off his nerves.
He hated the spotlight.
Diego started the tournament with a passionate seach about something or another and then the first battle started.
Shinpaku Aliance vs Black Force
Takida punched his opponent out with a single hook.
Ukitake just threw his opponent out while tanking whatever his opponent did head on.
And Siegfried's opponent just threw up from the vertigo caused by Siegfried's spinning… not the prettiest victory but it got the job done.
The following fight was Kenichi vs Taifun team
Xander walked on stage took one look at his opponent and then the rest of the Taifun team "None of you are sufficient as an opponent, please surrender or send that bald guy to get his ass kicked first" Xander pointed at a member of the opposing team that he knew to be a master class thanks to his Ki sensing
Said guy's face deformed into a psychotic expression that reminded Xander of Hunter x Hunter Hisoka. The balm man then beats up his team mates for some reason "didn't I tell you not to bring attention to me?" he spoke to his probably unconscious team… victims
He then jumped onto the arena "I don't know how you knew, but I am the kicking demon Robusaki Gorobe, 51 and single"
'Great, he's one of those' Xander resisted groaning "Ryozanpaku disciple Kenichi Shirahama, 16 and not interested" he replied with a tired expression and tone. He then noticed the look of revulsion on the bald demon's face "I'm flattered though" he supplied helpfully (not)
The balled man lowered his head and chuckled darkly "I'm going to enjoy killing the so called strongest disciple"
Without warning he vanished only to reappear with his head under Kenichi's foot with the arena cracked beneath them.
This stunned everyone to silence that was broken by Kenichi "oops, he surprised me"
Kisara was able to pull herself together enough to ask the face palming Akisame "What the fuck was that?"
"Damn overpowered idiot breaking even the master level rules" he was muttering to himself until Kisara asked the question again, only this time the answer came from Diego
"Please look towards the coliseum screen" said screen showed Gorobe mid-air with a flying kick aimed at Kenichi, then Kenichi with his leg in the air swiping Gorobe's kick and then with his foot from the same leg and on Gorobe's face who was still mid-air and lastly Gorobe beneath Kenichi's foot.
"VICTOR, KENICHI SHIRAHAMA" Diego shouted followed by the roar of the audience
Kenichi looked non-pulsed as he went back to the waiting area with the rest. It took a bit of time to field all the questions but the tournament continued no problem… till alarms started blaring about.
Apparently the Japanese government and Interpol had come together to capture the black market leaders on the island. The only thing they were waiting for was for the Island defences to go down… if only there was a hacker that aided them… or a certain divine AI (as she calls herself)
The whole thing went to shit by midday as the army started surrounding the Island. The Ryozanpaku masters had one thing in mind
Get everyone out
"Where is Kenichi?" asked Miu while escaping
"Don't worry, just run" answered Shigure as she was their protective escort. She already helped Sakaki and some girl claiming to be his fiancé clear the control room, so at the moment she was helping the decuples out

*With Xander*
"So my prize came for me by its own will?" spoke a large man in a suit as he faced Xander
"Slavers deserve death, but I promised my teachers not to kill anyone in this universe using their martial arts" Xander spoke coldly as his eyes were lifeless
The man in front of him is Fortuna, a master class martial artist, owner of Despair Island and human trafficker. He uses the tournament to find potential masters and sells them as weapons.
"A dilemma I'm sure" the large man snared at Xander
"Not really" Xander answered as Mana started forming an orb in his hand "I'll just have to use something from another universe"

The trip back was eventful as Jennifer (Sakaki's fiancé) was a secret agent for the Interpol and tried to arrest Sakaki for lying to her when she was 12 and saying he would marry her…
"Bastard"
"Hey, cut me some slack, she is barely 20" Sakaki shouted indignantly towards the amused audience "I'm at least 15 years her senior"
"Bastard" this time it came from Kensei, who had tears running down his face
"Aren't you married?" asked Freya
"Ah!"
"DON'T ACT SO SURPRISED YOU OLD PERVERT" Kisara shouted as she kicked at him "DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH RENKA COMPLAINS ABOUT YOU?"
"Calm down, Kisara" Freya tried to placate her "He'll always be our useless, pervert and bald master" she then took Might Guy's nice guy pose, professionally ignoring the figuratively dying Kensei on the floor…
She was working on showing more emotions and being more talkative with Renka for a while now…
"just let me die here" he could be heard muttering to himself weakly
He was ignored with the more prominent thought being 'where is Kenichi?'

*Two days later*
"He is more powerful than any of us estimated" Ogata spoke calmly
"He is at a grandmaster level at 16, he will probably surpass us all by the time he is an adult" Diego
"You might want to re-examine your estimation, Diego" a young voice was heard from Silkwat Jenazad a well-known legendary master and one of only 3 known.
The man was wearing Jenazad's usual demon mask, but none of those present noticed any differences between the man in front of them and the Legendary Master till he spoke.
"Who are you" God fist asked
The man took off his mask to show Kenichi standing there, much to everyone's surprise. He then kicked a bag near his leg down to spill it's content on the ground.
The head of Jenazad rolled down in front of everyone as several of them noted his head was cauterised "I also have Senzui's head, the guy that was acting like he was Saiga Furinji. I'll deliver it to Saiga then go kick his ass for leaving Miu" Xander's cold smile never left his face
"You think you can leave here alive?" Mikumo Kushinada, the master of Aikido asked Xander incredulously
"Sure, but not before I leave you all a very clear message and take your disciple" he pointed at Mikumo "you DON'T mess with emotions" he spoke with anger
"Respect your elders, brat" she sneared as she appeared in front of him in a burst of speed with her arm extended but Xander was faster
*SLASH*
*THUMP*
"What did you do brat?" she barked as she backed away
Xander was still standing there but now had a blade in his hand and no one knew where it came from "the only reason you still have your head is that the elder might be upset if I took it"
"I thought the life-saving fist guys weren't supposed to kill anyone" a blond guy by the name of Alexander asked in a cool fashion
Xander grinned "I'm not a traveller of life-saving fist path. I walk my own" he spoke as his sword vanished "I suggest you do the same" Xander then turned to a half raised curtain in the middle of the room where Ōganosuke Yomi, a Legendary martial artist was "I will kill you if you proceeds with the eternal sunset bull you're trying to pull… heh, I rhymed" he spoke as he vanished from there

Xander released his breath as he calmed down and let go of the Mana he infused into himself. It worked great as a boost for his physical and mental aspects if done in conjunction with Ki, but needed a lot of control to work it.
It took every inch of control he had to make that swing without bursting his muscles. It's also why he couldn't move much or capitalise on the moment and completely destroy her hand
'She'll probably have it reattached by tomorrow' he mused as he prepared to kidnap a little girl
[Could you not think of it like that, she IS an enemy]
"c'mon, she just doesn't know any better" Xander argued
[Fine, but you should keep your lightsaber close; I wouldn't trust her too soon]
"Can we not talk about that? I feel like I cheated when I made that thing" Xander shuddered
[What happened to the "there is no Overkill", I thought you would appreciate it more]
"I do and I appreciate you, but I like to make things that I understand how they work, the only exception are Ghosts" Xander explained
[You didn't even use a lightsaber, just a red hot thin iron poll]
"It got the job done" he shrugged
