A Conclave of International Policymakers
As the Ghosts settled into the UN peacekeeping base, they received word that the President of the United States was on her way. The team quickly sprang into action, preparing for the arrival of the most powerful person in the world.
After all, several powerful figures had already arrived at the base to wait for her. These, included the US Secretary of State, Pentagon's Secretary of State, UN High Commissioner of Human Rights and even the chivalrous Secretary General of the UN among other notable people.
With this, they set up a perimeter around the base, with members of the Ghosts stationed at strategic locations to ensure the President's safety. They also ran a series of security checks on all personnel entering the base, screening for possible threats and ensuring that only authorized individuals were allowed inside.
They were too anxious that they forgot the real threat could be within the base at that moment.
