THE HUNT!!!

So something I just found out, I can use emojis apparently. I won't use them much or really at all, but in my little announcements or even in the ending box, I might use a few especially if the emotion I want to convey needs a lil pic to help emphasize it.

*to where we left off yesterday*

I wait while Levine and the others are finished speaking to each other. Then randomly I hear Levine in my head since the connection from before wasn't cut off. "Hey megalodon, can you come over here where we're at? The others have a couple questions for you."

"Try to have them keep it at yes or no questions, if it's a question that needs a detailed answer then I will say it to you and you can reiterate it to them"

I am not gonna allow them to make their questions make me into anything that I'm not.

"Ok I understand" she sounds relieved for some reason

I stand up and go over to where they're at and wave

The captain spoke first, "so I'm guessing you heard what we want from Levine?" I nod and give a thumbs up

"Ok she told us your request and we understand so we'll keep it towards yes or no questions" She said reassuring me that she doesn't have a dead cold heart inside those mountains.

I shrug and turn to Levine "so who's asking first?"

"I believe it's Marisa who wanted the speak to you initially so I guess she's first" Levine said out loud to me and the group

The one who had the cold eyes was gonna say something but the one with the dark and deadly aura came up to me and asked "so you can understand us but can't talk? That doesn't sound natural" She was close to exclaiming it but kept her tone low

"Iii..cannt..speaaak...goood..iii...leewaarrneed...iit..ffrrooome...aaa....ssmmaall...ssseettlllleeemmeennt...dooowwwnnn...beelloowww.." I was focusing hard as to not raise my voice but also give clear words, which I almost failed both halfway through when I said settlement. The looks half of them have me were that of confusion while the girl with the battle armor tried not to laugh. Which bugged me, I tried my best there );

"Ok but that doesn't mean we have to change the way we say things because you are different from us" again her tone was low but she definitely was angry

"Kaina" the captain spoke, which made Kaina look at her and back up to where she was before. But not before she looked at me in disdain.

"Now that that's over I'll ask my question" Marisa came up to me "you can speak to Levine with your answer but I need to ask, how do we know that we can trust you?!" She said in a calm but distrustful tone

I look at Levine, "definitely a good question, but one that I can't answer in a way that will sound believable. Say that to her because I'm completely lost as to how I can answer her" I say this in her head and she giggles a little and reiterates it to the to the others up to believable.

"Definitely not an idiot, as you are right that I wasn't gonna believe anything else since I don't trust you at all." She definitely was proud of what she was saying as she rose her nose at me, turned and went to her spot. I was dumbstruck at that point since that was out of character from what I was seeing up until now.

"my turn now..." a soft voice said to my left and ,out of process of elimination, I already guessed where it came from. The girl who was attempting to not laugh earlier was looking at me with a determined face, as if she's overcoming some sort of boundary by doing this. Which I believe she is since up until the part where she wasn't trying to laugh and now, she gave me some sort of fearful look.

I look at her, waiting for her question.

"D..Do you eat babies?" She gave me another fearful look when she asked this, when I looked at the others, everyone had a shocked face except for the captain. Yes, even a little bit of shock showed on Marisas face as well.

I quickly shook my head no and brung my hands up in front of me and shook them how one would when completely denying a claim against them.

After that she backed up and put her helmet on, it's obvious that she was embarrassed. I turn to Levine and ask "where did that come from?"

"She might have heard a rumor of fish people eating babies and since only me and the captain had seen your other form, she might have thought that you were a regular fish man" she said out loud which got us looks from Marisa, Kaina, and the shield girl.

"What do you mean other form?" Kaina was the first to ask.

"You see" the captain was the one to answer "the "fish man" you see here isn't just an ordinary fish man, he is the transformed version of a huge Carcho named megalodon. So even if the fish people did eat babies, he wouldn't know as he isn't part of them."

"oh ok" a relieved voice was heard from the shield girl's helmet. (Don't got a name for her and the name I have in mind doesn't sound right for her, so any ideas? Hit them in the comments as I want to see if there are any better names for her instead of Mary. So for now she'll be shield girl)

"Now we've already gone too far from the subject we were supposed to be at due to a couple distractions" she sent a glare to the three girls, who all lowered their heads in shame

"Why we asked mainly for you to come is to see if you can help us with this situation, we have an idea but we don't wish to be rash and accidentally blame the wrong guy." She said very quietly as for the men to not overhear her.

I look at Levine, "is this because of what I said earlier?"

"...yes" she responded in a low voice, as if hoping I wouldn't hear her.

"Great.." i say to Levine then look to the captain and give a thumbs up

All of a sudden I feel another connection happen. Which puts me on alert, also alerting the others with me as I suddenly jump up and look around as I want to see who made the connection. Elder can you pinpoint where that came from?

(It came from almost the bottom of the boat) Thanks for the info. (No issue, just be careful. If you die, I will experience the wrath of heaven and hell so please stay safe.) I understand, thanks for the concern.

After that I hear another voice in my head, one that's male and definitely not happy.

"Hey fish shit, if you get us caught.....then we will end your life before we reach shore" He was definitely fuming and threatened me with great confidence as he was definitely in belief that he scared me.

However, what he really did was piss me off! I look at Levine, looking very pissed. "Hey Levine, can you hear me?"

She looks shook, "yes I can, whats wrong?"

"Someone else connected to me and threatened me not to help you or they'd kill me, as in that I was right that he had help from his friends, I felt the connection come from deep inside the boat." I tried to look calm but the look of anger was all over my face and my eyes definitely had malice in them.

She shook then told the others what I said in detail.

"So it really was him, and he had friends. No wonder the culprits trail was erased, he got them out of there with magic which showed why we didn't see them even though we came in all directions." She was livid when she said this

After that I hear the guy in my head again, "don't say I didn't warn you! Before we die, you will die with us!"

I look up and respond as calm as I can, even though I want to torture this guy for an eternity. "Come get me then, i am more than enough to beat you by myself, just come at me alone and you will die before you know what happened."

He was not happy... "You are definitely gonna die, I will make sure of it." It was obvious that he was holding back. After that I feel the connection get cut. I then turn back to Levine with a sort of serene look on my face and ask politely in her head.

"Can I torture this guy?"

Her face went pale when I said that and before anything else I feel a sword up to my neck. When I look to my left, the captain was there with a medium sized double edged sword and it's literally centimeters away from my neck. I look at her with the same serene face.

"What did you do?!" She exclaimed out to me which gained the attention of everyone that was nearby. Then Levine calmed down and spoke.

"He asked if he can torture Marthin? Because it seems as though Marthin connected to him with telepathy and tried to threaten him after you explained why he was asked to come here." She said in a sort of peaceful voice, as if implying that I will take care of everything.

"Well in that case, can you take care of all of them if you're so intent on dealing with Marthin?" Kaina asked with a smug look on her face.

Hey elder can you make my weapons now? (Are you talking about the long sharp nails?) Yes. (Okay I'll do it now) thanks.

Right as I said thanks to the elder, my nails started to elongate and sharpen in a speed that could be seen with the naked eye. After they are done changing, I look at them, then look at Kaina with a deadly grin on my face that would make a regular person cower in fear and nod slowly. This is the first time I've seen her with a scared look on her face, which was shared with everyone around me. Even the captain couldn't hold her composure after seeing the scene unfold and looking directly at the grin I had.

I then say in Levine's head "would you mind taking me to this Marthin?" This snapped her out of her fear trance.

"Ok, let's go now." After she says that, everyone around us snapped out of their trance as well, which they are still giving me a look of fear except for Marisa and the captain. Marisa has a glare of anger at me, essentially implying that she wants to kill me right now, while the captain had a weirdly saddened face as if she knew what I'm about to do with these men, but she wont stop me as she only got these men a few weeks ago and this bunch that is about to feel this monsters wrath has always been a troublesome group who just made their last mistake.

As Levine and I were about to go down to Marthin and his group, the sound of a group walking was heard from the stairway that led down into the ship, making their way up to us. Now I have to clear something up, when the elder transformed megalodon onto a humanoid shape, he also changed the eyes into more of a human look so imagine a fish person with human eyes and human clothes on. That's our MC before he got pissed off, now if you look up shark eyes and look at google images, you can see how demonic our MC looks to make even the captain lose her composure.

"Ssssoooo yyyyoooouuuuu caaaammmeee." I said out loud, I didn't care about my words so my voice was very raspy and definitely let everyone know that I was ready to rip these guys to shreds.

"We decided that hiding wouldn't work so let's end this, shall w-?!" He said this as he was coming up and he was gonna try to come in with an entrance as he's seen megalodon before he got pissed. However, when he came up to the top and was finishing his sentence, he saw the pissed off version, which made him go pale.

"So you came up here to all of us? You really are idiotic?" Marisa said when she heard what this dead man walking was saying. "Well you're right on one thing, it's easier and we can clean the blood faster when you basically presented yourself on a silver platter to the monster her that you decided to instigate. Your life is in his claws now!"

"What the fuck?! You're siding with this monster?! He is an abomination to this earth and needs to be purged?! However you're actually letting it do what it wants?!" He was basically preaching at this point!

I calm down my anger, put the human eyes back on, but leave the nails just incase they try to attack, however right now violence won't solve this situation. I then speak to Levine "I know what he's doing, he is trying to get the rest of the crew to go on his side. If he succeeds then one out of two scenarios will happen. The crew will overwhelm us and kill me, then rape all of you. Or we're gonna kill the entire ship. You better find a way to stop this or we're going to be fucked, me metaphorically and you five physically!"

She looks at me in shock but seeing me calmed down, she sees what I'm saying and gives a worried look to the captain.

"This situation is not going well for us." She says

However I have a different idea. I slowly walk towards Marthin and stop only a few feet away from him. Then I say to Levine

"Tell him this. I want to fight him one on one. I won't kill him, but I want to make a deal on this battle. If I win, he and his group will not get hurt but will leave this ship when we dock. And if he wins then he can kill me and do what he wants with the remains. Make sure to tell him every detail since I don't want any of you to have to choose between your own crew and me" I am saddened as I know how magic works and my chances of survival are slim but I need to do it.

"Marthin!" This grabs his attention away from me to her "Megalodon wishes to fight you one on one, if he wins you're life will be spared but you must leave the ship when we dock. However if you win, then you can kill him and do as you please to the remains, whether be it selling them or whatever you want with them." This brings everyone's attention to her then to me as I stare down Marthin.

"Not enough, the prices must be equal! I say if I win then all the women must do me and my group here one favor each!" He has a smug grin.

"Definitely not!" The captain is the one to speak.

"The prices are equal as the thick hide of a Carchos is worth at least 90 silver and you've seen the size of this one here in his other form. If sold then his hide is easily worth one gold and 10 silver due to the magical particles that reside in it since he has an affinity for water magic." She coldly said whole starring dangers at him.

"Fine I'll go with his deal!" He responded. "When I kill this abomination, all the profits go to me and my group, understand!"

"That's just fine, that's if you actually win." She said that with confidence.

I then speak to Levine "I'm guaranteed to win, I can see the types of particles that resonate on and in him, he has a major affinity for fire and wind magic and a light for water. However, in terms of affinity strength, I have him beat easily."

"Ok I trust you." She was definitely worried

"So will the captain start it or will we start it ourselves?" I asked

"The captain will start it" she than says out loud "captain, would you like to start this?"

"As the captain, I must" she then walked to the side but between us. She looked at both of us. She then began talking.

"Both sides agree to the terms that both parties have an equal deal?" She asked calmly

I nod and he says "I do"
