Daichi, a high school student and popular manga writer, was declared dead just 5 minutes after his birth. However, he suddenly came back to life. His grandfather, believing him to be a monster, insisted that his father separate him. To avoid any commotion, his father purchased an apartment in Tokyo and decided to send Daichi there, where no one would know about his abilities. Daichi's parents also moved there with him. When Daichi turned 15, his parents died in a road accident, and Daichi was also present. But thanks to his abilities, he survived. His uncle then took responsibility for his living expenses. Over time, it became clear to Daichi that he isn't normal. Now, it's up to him whether he'll use his abilities as a blessing to help others or as a curse to bring sadness upon them.

It was none other than Uncle Toya, a close friend of his late father who loved food. But Daichi couldn't figure out if his father knew about all this or not. Suddenly, Toya hugged Daichi.

"It's a relief to see you're doing well, Dai," Toya said, using the same approach he had when Daichi was a kid.

"I'm also relieved to see you, Uncle."

"Are you hungry?" Toya asked, pulling Daichi's cheeks.

"No, I'm okay. By the way, what's that thing?" Daichi asked, pointing at the mutant zombie.

"Don't worry about it. First, you should get some rest."

NP-58 told Daichi that he would show him the way to his new residence. Seizing the opportunity, Daichi broke free from his uncle's neck-breaking hug. Toya instructed NP-58 to meet him after dropping Daichi off. NP-58 agreed and drove Daichi away. Suddenly, Daichi asked, "Hey, am I supposed to be your master now?"

"Certainly."

"Then, can I name you?"

"Fine by me."

"Alrighty! I'll think of something."
