Trouble~

After receiving Kisaki's phone number, the first thing I did after returning from the Toman meeting was giving him a call. Why? The answer was simple I wanted to make sure, this was not in fact a deliberate prank that would cause me to message an old sleazy man instead, this being his method of getting back at me. He was aware of my texting preferences, so there was a chance he believed I wouldn't outright grand him a call instead.

Or was this his possible attempt at luring me out to some desolate location in the middle of nowhere, to get rid of me once and for all, because he realized I was the biggest obstacle that was preventing him from achieving his goals?

With sweaty palms, I held my pink flip-phone and hit the call button, but immediately I could tell who I was dealing with, just by hearing a single sentence.

"Michi, right?" He asked as I responded with a cracked voice.

"Yes." Did it occur because of my anxiety?

"Let's meet in front of the Pun-Pun Coffee Shop at eleven o'clock tomorrow. I will send over the address." A cafe? Sounded more like a dating destination more than anything.

"Sure..." Was my response, nothing much was said after, he just wished me goodnight acting out of character, and giving me shivers down my spine. He had to be planning something. Right?

Certainly, it wasn't only my imagination, was this his next step to getting closer to Mikey by using me?

It was undoubtedly wise to prepare as many precautions as I could, so I typed in the address I was given in my GPS system. And after some research not only did I find out the spot was in the middle of a bustling city, but this specific area was really popular with young couples nowadays.

"Could it be a date?... Nah, remember Michi how many times has he turned me down." Besides even if this was the case, the circumstances were still highly suspicious. There must have been a catch there somewhere if he tried to get together with me after I became a big shot in Toman.

The next day I was pondering about which outfit would be the most appropriate for this occasion. Do I dress for an actual date or wear a gate-up that is easy to fight in? Upon debating it for a while, I threw my hands up in the air and plopped back on my bed.

"Screw this, who cares... I'm not going." I sighed unable to make a proper decision, and that's when Venus came to my aid.

'Would you rather meet up with Tetta Kisaki per your arrangement while dressed up prettily or go out your way to ask Shuji Hanma on a date instead?' My fate was suddenly sealed in place, it was time to find out what the guy in glasses wanted from me.

"I could always use this time to annoy him, and the outfit choice could be used as an excuse that I'm trying to seduce him once more." I was pumped at the idea and quickly looked into my closet. I pulled out a yellow skirt, matched it with white tights and a sweater, and put on a brown coat on top. I grabbed a small cute purse to match the outfit and walked downstairs to add some boots to the look, only to be caught by Kazutora beside the entrance.

"Michi, where are you going, dressed up like that?" He questioned as I decided to answer him honestly.

"Well yesterday I got Kisaki's phone number so he arranged a meeting between us two, and then a mission came out that set my mind in stone to perform the task, even if I'm reluctant to do so." He tilted his head to the side, making his earing jingle.

"Couldn't you have taken the second mission? From what I remember there are always two options to choose from." Yes, but the second one wasn't that great either.

"The other alternative was asking Hanma out on a date, so no thank you." Kazutora seemed to abruptly understand my decision.

"So sometimes it's like choosing between two lesser evils... gotcha. I don't really want you to end up with Hanma either." Thankfully we were of the same mindset in that regard.

"How about the punishment then, couldn't you have taken it instead." Right, I haven't done that in a while.

"Yea, but I told Mikey and Draken to keep Kisaki onboard so we could have an eye on him, it would be hypocritical of me if I wouldn't do the same, don't you think." I thought it was my cue to finally leave, but it seemed like my brother had more questions.

"Right... but you never told me what kind of punishments are possible." I guess he wanted his answers right now.

"Let's see..." I pulled out my hand and started to count on my fingers.

"I changed my gender, became a cat, my chest became three sizes bigger, I got myself a clone and lastly I died." I may have forgotten something, but then examined Kazuztora's face which looked horrified.

"Well, I did come back to life..." I tried to reassure his worries but was put into a hug instead.

"Your life is a mess Michi, but now you can depend on me as well." Was this his realization that this system wasn't as cool as he believed previously?

"But wait clone...did you use it that time when I introduced Jesus to Michi, which one were you then?" He asked curiosity eating him up.

"At the time, I was Jesus." I let him know as he gasped astonished at the news.

"Shut up!" His jaw was basically hanging at this point.

"It's true, anyway I gotta go." I waved him goodbye, put on my boots, and headed out in the direction of the subway station.

Once I arrived, maybe at least five minutes later than our promised time, I didn't have time to exchange any greetings, I was just pulled inside the building.

"Order what you want." He mentioned, but rather than coffee or tea, I just grabbed some fizzy drink and dessert. We found our spot and let's say the atmosphere, in the beginning, felt really awkward.

"It's strange to see you not being too fazed with the current situation." I had to disagree.

"Actually I'm still in the processing progress. Trying to figure out if you are high on shrooms or something. Perhaps I'm still in some kind of fever dream, or your only purpose in being here is to introduce me to some creepy guy that is a serial killer." He didn't seem impressed.

"All of the things above are wrong." He seemed fairly serious.

"Does it mean you won't mind it if I bully you per our usual routine?" Soon our drinks came to our table, I thanked the staff and decided to gather the courage to ask.

"So what exactly is your purpose for calling me here?" I took a sip of my drink thru the straw.

"Is your invitation to us dating still valid?" Hearing this the gulp I took entered the wrong pipe and I could feel the bubbles coming out from my nose, causing me to have a coughing fit.

Once I calmed down, I stood up while yelling.

"What?!" I soon realized my mistake and apologized to the other customers for causing a disturbance and sat back down.

"I think you should work harder on asking me out." Yes did he know how many times I got rejected he was ought to put at least some more effort into this?

"Great what do you want, flowers? Gifts?" Did he think I was that shallow?

"Are you really this stupid in the relationship department? Um hello... I want something like a letter or a nice view with sincere words conveyed to me. Not you coming here and asking me if the offer is still up." I crossed my arms feeling dejected by his approach, even if he was out here to use me for something, go out of your way to make it believable. What was this half asses attempt?

"Wait here, I will be right back." I was taken aback by his sudden determination, but he just off and disappeared for the next half an hour. At this time I managed to finish eating the entire dessert going at turtle speed and just sat there staring out the window having nothing to do to occupy my mind.

"He didn't ditch me did he?" I asked myself and then spotted him running back, having something that looked like a letter in his hand.

"The letter you asked for." He slammed it on the table and pushed it closer to me. I could see my name displayed on the front written in elegant calligraphy, is this what took him the most time? I looked inside and the fine writing even outstretched itself here, the problem was I couldn't read this shit, even my 78-point Intelligence stats weren't enough to decipher the context.

"Um... so what is this exactly?" He leaned his face on his hand and turned away from me.

"A poem, don't you see?" It was quite a cute approach, considering how much effort he must have put into this, but the hell, did he choose a poem containing the most flowery language he could find?

"You failed to consider my reading capability when writing this, so now you are bound to explain it in your own words." I saw him taking a few breaths, maybe to try to compose himself. And then he must have dumbed down the context of the poem way too extreme.

"You're pretty and I want to ask you out." His cheeks suddenly flushed with red pigment and by his voice tone, I could tell he was somehow sincere this time around. I could hear some 'ohhh~' sounds coming from a guy that was sitting close to us, causing Kisaki's embarrassment to hit the ceiling.

"I guess I can entertain the idea of us dating," I answered in a sassy tone. Causing the guy sitting in front of me to freeze in place. After he recovered he took off his glasses and cleaned them, maybe his hands were restless.

"I see." He responded it was my cue to have some fun at his expense.

"I think we should start this relationship off strong and do something naughty~" Causing him to choke on his drink, how the tables have turned.

"Wait what... isn't it too soon? Are you out of your mind?" He angrily whispered, but I looked at him innocently.

"What do you mean? I just wanted us to hold hands, what could you possibly be thinking about?" I reached out my hand prompting him to grant my request, he did as asked but muttered under his breath.

"Geez, you're so infuriating sometimes."

"You truly set yourself up for trouble, I thought you would be wiser and wouldn't give me any more chances to bully you harder." After I mentioned it, I could already tell he was reconsidering his life choices.

"I'm planning to be a really clingy girlfriend, hopefully, you don't mind. Of course, you can always back out now if you want." I stated while winking at him.

"I think I can manage. More importantly, I'm interested in how you will handle all the other guys from now on." I gave him a smirk.

"Looks like you need to stick to me if you want to be safe~"
