THE NEXT DAY IN NEXT WORLD
Alex was in a deep sleep, and the whole world was celebrating a new year. The countdown began at 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
Suddenly, the green light started falling on the surface. Everyone was excited to see that. Then a sound of rumbling started, and silence followed. Everybody started screaming and falling for some unknown reason. Everybody stared, feeling a headache and in pain worse than giving birth. Some started rolling on the floor. Some stared, crying. Alex was also feeling the same pain, and his face twisted as he started spasming. After that, many people started seeing visions. a vision of a vast land filled with all kinds of beasts, animals, races, and unknowable things.
After who knows how long the pain lasted, everyone was stuck, which feels like a long time but was just 10 minutes long, after which they could not understand where they were; the earth they knew was gone and replacing that was a completely new world. The roads cracked, and long trees sprouted from the earth. The iron and other metals started disintegrating and awakening as completely different metals separated from the current periodic table. All metals started changing their atomic structure, and because of that, firearms, cars, and everything else we knew started crumbling. People were incapsulated in a green dome of light, so all living things, animals, and birds were covered by this light for 10 minutes. The earth as a whole started expanding and getting further away from the sun; it became larger than Jupiter, and no map could help anyone locate there surroundings.
People started shuffling and being separated; no one knows who did that or how they were separated, but it was done on its own. After that, the light started cramming everyone's eyes open, but the eyes that they opened were of different colours; some were black and green with vertical slits, some were like gems, some were pearls, and some were completely white.
All of humanity was the same, but the surroundings were different. There was the same thing different with everyone: they all have a tattoo on some part of their body, some on their back, some on their chest, and some on the back of their hands. Everyone has some kind of animal tattoo, like a wolf, tiger, fish, mermaid, bird, shark, insect, or dragon. The same was true with Alix, but his was a bit special; his tattoo was not on his body but inside his body, on his heart, and it was green like a dragon, and on his back, a tree-like tattoo was also present. Just like him, there were a few individuals who were special and had this unique tattoo.
When he opened his eyes, all he saw were green trees, and he was naked and all alone. He started to feel panic, but he controlled his emotions and took a deep breath. After which he calmed down and stated his thoughts, but was interrupted by a revelation. Everyone understands this revelation, as it was directly fed into everyone's mind.
