THE LAST DAY.

It is the last day of the year, and although the weather was cold, everyone was enjoying the new year, but no one has predicted that their lives will change for ever in the next few hours.

In the beginning, the sun was setting for the day, and everyone was looking at the last sunset of the year. Children were playing, and adults were enjoying their holidays. but some people were still working for the goals, working hard to achieve a little bit more. The same is the case with Alix, a typical 21-year-old gay with a normal build, normal black hair, brown eyes, and no special abilities. He was a completely normal guy in this society; he completed all his studies at a military school and was always easygoing. He got many proposals from girls but rejected them because he thought that girls were selfish and manipulative, so he was single his whole life. He loved trying new things, and even though he was not that good at anything, he tried everything he could. His motto is: If you have to do something, do it as fast as you can, and if you have the option of not doing it, don't do it, so he always tries to finish his work before the deadline, or he will wait till the last second to complete his work.

He completed all his work as usual in the office. After he looked around, he found that all his colleagues had left for the day, so he also packed up his work and started to go out. While walking home, he found that there was still light in the sky even after the sun had set. He looked up and was spellbound by the site in front of him. There was a unique streak of green light flowing all around the sky. Every news station was covering that phenomenon, and everyone was enjoying that sight.

He started walking towards that light, and while staring at it, he stopped at a store to buy some bread and snakes for the next day. Then he went home and called his friend's parents and elder sister to wish them a happy new year. He checked the time; it was 9:00 at night. He then stared at the list of songs after and thought about the future, saying that he was not happy about a job after 4 years of graduation that paid him enough to buy his meal and rent. This was not the life he wanted; he wanted something better; he wanted to be special and do something great in his life, and while thinking that, he went into dream land.
