Chapter 29; First Shot

I watched as a scrawny looking girl came on to the roof top of the building she works at through the scope of my upgraded sniper. Uriel shifted in discomfort behind me, easily distracting me.

"Uriel." I hissed. He stopped shifting with a sigh. I watched as she leaned against the railing,and took aim, once I got the lines to align on one of her many nervous system points I pulled the trigger, a low whistle echoed around the abandoned roof top, the girl dropped to the ground her brain having came to an abrupt stop.

"Is she still alive?" Asks Uriel.

"Yes,of course she is. I will not kill anyone Uriel. Get it through that thick skull of yours." I say with a shake of my head as I pressed a small blue button on the lower part of the rifle it shook briefly as its neon red faded and shrunk along with the rest of the rifle until it was nothing more than a bracelet which I tugged on to my wrists.

"I'm sorry okay,but I'm an Angel of course I'm going to worry." Grumbles Uriel as we walked down to the foyer,S.H.E.I.L.D agents would take care of her and make sure there was no witnesses.

"Sure,sure. Any who,let's go visit my brother and his girlfriend or rather fiance." I say cheerfully.
