Doctor Marco

The strong Eagle King was standing in front of Sienna's room, waiting politely. He was dressed up as a doctor with a long white beard. Marco came into Snake Castle the same afternoon completely unnoticed! He landed at the empty atrium and followed old Sienna's scent straight to her room. He listened behind the door for a bit and when he heard the muffled kissing noises, he just knocked.

The manly voice which responded to his knocking did not sound as Sharchan to him at all! Marco furrowed his brows and replied politely, introducing himself as a doctor."What is going on in there? I will play the game, if that is what she wants..." he thought coldly."I surely killed men enough to be a good doctor. I know all the insides..." he thought really coldly and waited to be called in patiently for just a little because soon enough the unfamiliar manly voice replied to him again.

"Come in then!" S called him in curiously.

The tall burly doctor with a long white beard came in. Sienna locked her eyes into Marco's blue eyes hopefully. She felt excitement all over her body as she heard his voice...but she tried to hide it. She felt weak and her belly hurted anyway, she did not need to pretend that at all...

"This is what I call speed!"S was overjoyed as he looked the burly doctor up and down... "Welcome to my Snake Castle doctor. You come by yourself?" he asked politely.

"Yes," the doctor nodded."Rem sent me, to attend to the queen." he bowed slightly.

"You look quite strong for a doctor."S asked suspiciously, "You look more like a warrior."

"Everyone should be a good warrior, I need to protect my patients till they heal," Marco said coldly.

"Ahm, yes," S nodded." He should be strong if he is King Sarcos 's private doctor. "S thought satisfied. He heard about the invincible Scorpion King who was beating up his older brother at training grounds and had respect for him. "Nothing would make Sharchan more enraged than being beaten by Sarcos...especially the last time...."S chuckled in his mind.

"And why you are wearing a fake beard?"S asked as he shifted his attention back to the strange doctor.

"It is a part of the doctor's uniform. I need to look old for some stupid reason."Marco said coldly.

"Is just us here, take it off!"S ordered.

Marco did as S said and took his beard off. He was quite surprised to see that the man with an unfamiliar voice looked like Sharchan. Marco felt something was off with that snake. He smell different and it seemed he does not know him. "Sharchan definitely does not look rude himself. Is he playing with me as well?"Marco was wondering as he stared into S's wandering eyes.

"Hm, you look quite handsome. Rather put that beard back on."S noted a little jealously.

"You see..."Marco grinned coldly.

"But you are not a scorpion, why do you live in Sand City?"S was still interrogating him subtly...

"I work for King Sarcos only," Marco noted coldly.

"Sure, sure, please have a look at my queen."S let him to Sienna finally. It was nothing extra he could ask the doctor in his mind ." She is not well." he added.

"I heard so," Marco noted in a completely uninterested cold tone.

"He is really an iceberg of a man, the queen was right."S shook his head. Marco was way too stern and cold for S's taste, so he calmed down."This man is definitely not interested in females." the almost Snake King chuckled in his mind.

Sienna was in her bed limply. She stared at the doctor and S quietly Her face was pale and body weak. She felt exhausted.

Marco looked at her worriedly. He did not see her much when she got her days, but he heard from Sarcos about them."You will listen to her, feel sorry for her, agree with her and do everything she wants...With extra warning...!" the Scorpion King was very straight with him...

"My queen," the doctor crouched next to Sienna's bed." You don't look well at all!" he put his hand to her forehead and she closed her eyes automatically.

She relished his touch but was feeling miserable bleeding. After a while, she opened her eyes tiredly. S was staring at her face and was very worried. She looked so weak...

"Doctor, am I bleeding to death?"Sienna asked Marco a little theatrically...

"Yes, you do." the doctor nodded coldly. He did not sound sorry for her at all!

"No, you have to save her or I will kill you slowly!"S raged.

Sienna stared.

"S really cares about me..." she smiled in her head. It somehow felt nice to her.

"Keep your cool King Sarchan."Marco tried to address S with Sharchan's name to see his reaction."I'm not done with our queen yet! "Marco finished listening to Sienna's heart. "I came just in time," he said."I need to make blood replenishment tonic for her immediately."He looked at S coldly.

"Whatever you need, all my castle is at your disposal. "S nodded eagerly. He was so relieved that the doctor will help.

"I will need some helper in the kitchen to prepare it. Will you go?"Marco looked at S. He needed to find Ziran to find out what is going on and this was a probing question...

"I have a tiger servant there, he will help you. He is better at cooking than me."S said politely...

"Ok," the doctor nodded.

"Doctor, my belly hurts a lot..."Sienna scrunched her face in pain, "I hope you have some painkillers for me?" she reached for his wrist weakly.

"Where exactly it hurts? "Marco asked trying to be a responsible doctor...

"Here."She placed his hand on her belly...Marco feel that her belly was bloated and he was sensing a slow-moving motion inside there from her cramps...

"My queen, that must hurt so immensely..."Marco tried to do what Sarcos ordered him and be sorry somehow...

It did not look too convincing but Sienna nodded."I feel as if my life is going out of me." she sobbed a little.

"Well, the blood is liquid of life...but you are letting go only of the one your body does not need..."Marco noted.

"He is like an annoying male doctor who doesn't understand the suffering women have to go thru every month... "Sienna felt secretly hurt..."Because he can do whatever he wants any day of the month!" Sienna was raging in her head, so she pushed harder to get her reaction from a stony cold Marco.

"But I feel so tired and weak..." she moaned.

"Have no worry, my queen, I'm here to help you."Marco tried to be more gentle. He felt that Sienna squeezed his hand on her belly and did not want to let it go for some reason. He wanted to give her a moment, so he turned to S.

"I will give your queen pain relief medicine. You will need to watch her closely. And go open the window, she needs some fresh air!"Marco's hand was still stuck on Sienna's belly.

S nodded and went to open the window. Sienna quickly slid the golden Snake King's ring off her finger and pushed it into Marco's palm secretly.

Marco was surprised but took it and hid it in his hand as he was taking out the medicine. He looked at S opening the window, then at Sienna's bare hand, she hid it behind her back immediately!

"It is surely his ring, she doesn't wear rings normally."Marco thought. Her hands should not be seen till I will come back."He decided.

He took Sienna's hands a bit forcefully and position them close to her body. Then he tucked her in the bed tightly as S was coming back.

"What are you doing?"S asked curiously.

"I'm making a blanket wrap," Marco noted coldly."I will give the queen a special tonic, but it needs to work with inhaling healing herbs."Marco took some dried herbs from a little sachet and spread it on Sienna's covers."Do not uncover her till I will give her a second dose of freshly boiled herbs if you want her to live."Marco instructed him.

"But what if she bleeds too much?"S asked worried.

"I will not take long."The doctor shook his head. "I will be back in 30 minutes."Marco nodded."I will just boil the herbs and mix the tonic." he added and gave S a little purple crystal bottle.

"You will need to give her three drops every 5 minutes. Count it properly."Marco said seriously."It is a special pain relieving medicine for her cramps."

S took the vial and stood next to Sienna. He decided, that he will count the minutes by himself to give Sienna three drops every five minutes exactly. He watched as the doctor gathered his sachets and stood up. He was really tall.

"Will you find the kitchen well?"S asked worriedly.

"Sure, I noticed the smell of burned rice on my way...it should be there. Count well." Marco grinned and left.

Siena lay tucked in her bed tightly, covered in quite pleasantly smelling herbs, hoping that S will not lift the covers and see the missing ring...She rather stared at the window because that was the only view she could see in her butterfly inside the cocoon state...

S counted 5 minutes and dropped three drops on the small silver spoon."Here my love." he said caringly. Sienna took it eagerly. It was the same medicine Sarcos always gave her. It made her feel warm and comfortable. She closed her eyes and started to relax. The medicine was making her drowsy.

S was doing his counting job meticulously, so she was safe for half an hour at least under that blankets...
