Final Boss Fight 6 (The End)
Clang!
'Just one more step'
Austin thought as he clashed his sword with Edwen whose attacks were deadly and dangerous.
He felt it, just a step closer to attain Enlightenment, just one step but it felt like there is a huge wall in front of him and he didn't know how to break that wall or go beyond it.
Although helpless but he didn't give up and focused even more, noticing every move that Edwen did and either countered or blocked it.
Clang!
They were fighting outside of the throne room under the dark grey skies that seem to contain rains, lightning and thunder.
The wind howled and the fight continued with swords clashing, spells flying everywhere destroying the area around.
There was a forest beside them, where they fought inside and wrecked havoc.
Clang!
Then they went out again with Austin flying in the air due to a high fire spell that Edwen shot at him.
It was so powerful that the impact kept him flying in the air until he crashed inside the throne room again.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!
"UGH! Shit!" Austin muttered as he saw a sword flying at him at incredible speed that cut everything in its way toward Austin who immediately used any strength he had to move away from its way making it crash into the pillar of marble that Austin crashed into.
BAAAAAAAM!!!
It destroyed it whole creating an explosion around.
Austin looked at the destruction and sighed a little before getting serious again and struggled to stand up using his sword as support.
He watched Edwen who arrived beside his sword and took it from the floor, then looked at Austin who was sweating and breathing heavily.
Walking with steady pace toward him, Austin widened his eyes a little before he laughed at himself when he saw that.
'So, he is very confident of his victory that he is walking at such a pace toward me, huh? Well can't complain about that when I'm already in a deep shit. I can feel my body so exhausted and my muscles can't even exert any more effort to move.'
Austin muttered inwardly while looking at Edwen who was walking toward him with his long Nodachi dragging it on the floor making small sparks to come out.
But this is not the end, there is still more things that Austin need to do, he can't surrender to fate like that. He still has things to do, he still need to take care of his wives and revive Lya as well as rewarding them on the completion of their missions.
'Yup, I can't give up yet, I still have many things to do besides, I kinda miss my mother and sister, it felt like I didn't see them for years or some sort although it was only some months had passed.' Austin said inwardly with eyes glowing with determination and strong will. As long as he is alive he still can fight and even if he is dead he will fight until he get ride of all of his enemies.
No one will be spared.
Death will always follow those who are on the battlefield.
Destruction is unavoidable.
Losses are inevitable.
And winners are the ones who take it all.
Suddenly, Austin heard the sound of bells ringing in his head.
Ding!
It was a sound that seemed like the bells of a apocalypse.
Ding!
Ding!
It rang loudly inside his head that he couldn't hear anything around.
Ding!
No thoughts were needed.
Those words were engraved in front of Austin's eyes, written in gold in the air only he could see them.
"No..thoughts.. were...needed?" he muttered in a low voice before his vision changed and saw in front of him a very huge wall that seemed to have no ends. Then on that wall, words began to appear as if they were being engraved.
[Those who walk the path of sword should know that death will always follow, destruction will be unavoidable, losses will be inevitable and winners will take it all]
[To become the sword itself that cut everything and anything even the space and reality itself, Acceptance is necessary]
Looking at these words Austin smiled, a smile that adorned his face that was stained with blood and cuts.
'So this was all I need, huh. It was all in front of me all this long but I didn't or couldn't see it because I wasn't ready and qualified yet, but now it's a different case.' Muttering inwardly his vision went back to normal and there Edwen was still walking toward him with the same steady pace.
Austin's blonde bangs covered his eyes and with a smile on his face, suddenly the air around him began to change.
Crack!
Cracks began to appear on the wall that was inside him and it was increasing.
Crack!
Crack!
The space around Austin seemed to be torn apart and distort out the blue and a new kind of aura began to surround him. Golden lines began to flow out of him which was noticed my Edwen who stopped walking and jumped back immediately while taking a stance.
He felt like death was approaching him, just one step closer and he will be killed in an instant.
Austin stood straight and his sword in his hand with still his expression wasn't visible due to his bangs covering his eyes.
Then suddenly he vanished from his place alerting Edwen who felt like billions of ants were crawling on his body giving him goosebumps and his instincts were screaming for him to run away as fast as possible.
Then from behind him, a figure appeared and sent a slash at him which made Edwen more alerted.
Clang!
The attack was blocked by him but Edwen at the last moment and it felt like a huge mountain hit him which sent him flying at incredible speed away crashing into several pillars of marbles breaking them in the process.
"Guhaaaaasasaak!!" He screamed for the first time since his transformation as the attack was so powerful that it impacted his exterior and interiors.
Blood flowed from his body while he coughed up great amounts of blood on the floor feeling so much pain.
"I'm impressed that you managed to block that attack." Austin said with a rather cool and calm voice that seemed casual.
Edwen slowly got up and got a hold of his sword before dashing at Austin was a speed that several times faster than before. This speed should have made Austin look surprised and shocked because that meant that Edwen was just holding back till this time, but Austin's expression didn't change at all and still had the same smile.
To Austin, Edwen was just moving slowly, slowly that he could have played a game or read some novel or manga during that time.
His perception of time and the world changed, to him the world was just moving so slowly and he could see the flow of energies and nature of the world.
It was as if nothing could be hidden from his eyes.
What seemed a second or a moment to Edwen was just some hours or minutes to Austin.
Once he reached him Edwen immediately made multiple slashes at varying degrees in different directions. It was so fast and deadly. But Austin causally deflected these slashes with ease before kicking Edwen in the stomach with his knee so hard that he couldn't breath for a second.
He fell on the floor in front of Austin while clutching his stomach.
Now looking at Edwen, Austin could see a single red line coming from his head. His eyes followed the line until its end to look at the one who was at the other end. The person or being who controlled Edwen during this fight after the transformation. After all Edwen's powers were given to him by that being so of course that being would make sure that Edwen get the job done and what's better than controlling him to move according to his orders?
The person who was controlling Edwen widened its eyes in shock and surprise because it was being discovered. It panicked and wanted to escape, so immediately it cut the line that was connecting it to Edwen and through a portal it disappeared.
Austin could have attacked it but he knew that that being was stronger than Edwen and may pose a greater threat to him than Edwen besides, Austin wasn't in a state to fight more due to his injuries.
Gaining control again, Edwen gasped and began coughing up so hard.
"*Cough* *Cough* W-what happened?" He wondered before looking up to see Austin looking down at him with a smile on his face, but Edwen flinched and felt like being stared at by something beyond his comprehension. Austin's eyes changed from the usual crystal blue to gold and his pupils became X shape.
He felt like being cut into million pieces for several times.
"HEEEEEEEEK!!! GET AWAY!" He screamed in fear before jumping back to make a distance between them.
His mask was long broken since the previous attack where he was crashed into serval pillars.
His face contained fear and sweats were sliding on his forehead and cheeks.
He felt dread.
"To think that the 'Great' Edwen will be afraid from a mere human who can't even use magic, quite shame you know." Austin said making the man who heard it snap out of his state and look at Austin with anger because he felt that he had being mocked and insulted.
Which made him so angry. He, a Vampire King, was being mocked at by a mere human!!
That's unacceptable!
He grit hit teeth and his energy exploded from him affecting the surroundings and Austin who looked at him thought of something.
'Maybe I can try it, although it's a technique from a manhwa but it captivated me from how powerful it was, besides, vampires are weak against crosses right?'
So with that being decided, Austin took a stance before golden aura danced around his body and his eyes glowed brightly before he moved at an unbelievable speed.
[Grand Chariot: Grand Cross]
Austin made two slashes at Edwen before appearing behind him with his sword still glowing along with his eyes.
Behind him, Edwen had his eyes widened in shock and disbelief before a grand cross appeared on his body that in the next moment was cut into pieces that turned into ashes and disappeared in the air without leaving a trace.
His sword cut Edwen's soul and body killing him on the spot.
So now, Austin finally became a Grandmaster in sword.
The glow of his sword and eyes diminished and disappeared before he sighed before storing the sword again in his inventory as he felt his mana running through his veins again making him feel refreshed.
Remembering his wives, he didn't bother healing himself before he teleported himself to where most of his wives were gathered.
With this, his mission in this world was finished and only rewards were waiting from him to be collected.

In a very far away place that no one could reach, beyond space and time, inside a bedroom with lavish decorations and some posters on the walls.
There was a woman on the bed. This woman had a heaven defying beauty that no one could even imagine or look at. It was a beauty that could be said forbidden.
She was looking at a floating screen in front of her that was displaying a blonde haired handsome and sexy guy.
"You did good job Aus~ now leave the rest to me, this bitch who messed with you will have a hell to pay~ Fufufufu I wonder what expression she will show me when I 'play' with her~"
The woman had a crazed expression when she muttered those words that promised a hellish fate for the person who she was talking about.
I wonder that will happen to her~
