Final Boss Fight 5

Austin and Edwen fought with their movements increasing and becoming faster and subtle with each other aiming at killing the other.

Clang!

Their swords connected again with sparks flew around them creating a very beautiful yet dangerous sight that could make any person who was able to see them exclaim in amazement.

Austin was focusing on thing which was in front of him—Edwen, the target to kill.

Nothing else mattered to him except that, even the destruction that was spreading around him and the broken walls and pillars, nothing else mattered except killing Edwen.

His eyes was only following Edwen's every movement while the world around was blurring except Edwen's body and sword.

Edwen was using swordsmanship and spells to attack Austin but all of that was blocked and countered by him.

Even if there was a rock being thrown at him, his body would move quickly and cut it in half, anything that was coming at him was either blocked, deflected or countered with the only focus on Edwen.

It's like a machine that sets its target on something and no matter the obstacles it will seek the destruction of that target.

But this mechanism in the body of sentiment beings is called the Instinct.

Like how animals move and respond in a strange ways to dangers, this is their instinct leading and moving them.

Like if you are hungry, then your instinct will lead you and move you to satisfy your hunger by eating food.

Same case with thirst.

So right now, whatever the thing that was thrown at Austin, his instinct would respond and remove that thing from the way to seek the death of the target.

But Austin wasn't purely depending on his instinct, no, he mixed it with his sane mind, so he could think more clearly and faster during the fight.

That mix was like the Zone, excluding all the constants from the world and focusing on the only variable in front of it.

Austin was in this state. He was moving very fast responding to Edwen's random and unpredictable attacks quickly and subtly making Edwen use more efforts and movements to attack Austin.

But then suddenly, Edwen's body was surrounded with dark red energy and the only eye in the mask glowed dangerously making Austin instincts screaming but before he could respond, he saw a cut appearing on his chest diagonally.

*Drip*

Blood came out of it making Austin grit his teeth for a moment before moving at very smooth and fast speed at Edwen who was in front of him and slashing his sword at him powerfully but what met his sword was a wall that was cut into a half by the attack breaking it all in the process.

He looked behind him to find Edwen standing there, but somehow he felt that he was smiling sarcastically at him from under that mask.

Austin had a suspicion but he wanted to make sure by the next attack, so he moved again at him with fast speed reaching him in a second while breaking the floor along the way due to the power he put onto his legs.

Once he reached Edwen he slashed at him again, but his sword was met with the air.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!

Although he cut the air, the slash was powerful that it made an big arch that went through two of the giant pillars and cut them.

The throne room began to shake a little because more pillars were broken but neither of them cared.

But now looking at Edwen who appeared in front of the throne, Austin became sure.

'He used his reality warping ability, huh.' Austin muttered inwardly but surprisingly he was calm, so calm that it was somehow eerie and uncomfortable.

Without him knowing, Austin's eyes were glowing slightly.

He was breathing heavily that his breath was visible while looking at Edwen with his calm eyes.

However, Austin immediately stomped on the floor breaking it before dashing at an incredible speed making a blue trail behind him as he reached Edwen in a second but he didn't attack and just was putting the sword in an attacking stance while looking at Edwen's only eye.

The world was moving slowly, but then suddenly the direction changed and Austin dashed back at where he was standing before and then he slashed his sword.

*SLASH*

*THUD*

Edwen who supposed to be standing in front of the throne was here with us arm cut from the shoulder. A surprise look appeared on his face as his only eye widened.

Founding his trick was discovered, Edwen didn't try it again and engaged in a sword fight with Austin again.

His body was surrounded with red dark energy while he was attacking while strengthened his attacks and made them stronger, he did do this from the beginning because he found Austin a weak target and could be killed with just some swordsmanship.

But he made a mistake and he wan paying for it right now, at the moment.

Clang!

Clang!

Clang!

Clang!

Sparks flew everywhere and the sounds of metals colliding echoed.

They moved at the very high speed that only red and blue trail of light was the only thing visible from them.

CLANG!

SWOOOOOSHHHHHH!!!

BAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!!!

Their swords met at the middle of the room before they exchanged some blows and separated themselves from each other to make a distance.

Then Edwen made several spells ready to shot at Austin.

They were: Lightning Dragon, Ice Spears, Hell Fire Bullets, Elite Earth Golem, Sharp Tornado.

Then without a second thought, he shot all of them at Austin.

The man in question who saw this didn't blink and looked at the attacks that were coming at him before he stomped on the floor and dashed forward.

Austin with just a sword attacked the lightning dragon that was the fastest of all spells in front of him and cut it half and, then with acrobatic movements he dodged and blocked the hell fire bullets.

Then the tornado that was coming at him with the intention of killing him by cutting into million pieces was cut in half as well like the lightning dragon.

The Ice Spears were useless against Austin as with just one single slash he broke them.

The Elite Earth Golem was cut into multiple pieces breaking its core in the process.

All of that was done in mere seconds before he reached Edwen and attacked him with his sword.

Clang!

The sword was blocked but Austin didn't budge and broke the connection between both swords before he kicked him in the stomach sending him flying back.

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

He crashed into a giant pillar of marble making a crater in it in the process.

Edwen didn't wait and dashed at Austin and both of them engaged again in a high speed fight that broke everything around. All the walls were broken revealing what was behind them.

Austin and Edwen took the fight outside where they continued clashing and fighting with each other and the sounds of swords clashing echoed even more with sparks flying everywhere.

'Just another step.'
