CHAPTER 6 : PRACTICE HARDER !

Waking up , he held his head , the dizziness getting to him . He should learn how to control his emotions more , he thought . He couldn't afford to make mistakes . His mistakes were costly .

He couldn't keep on spending money on getting his room walls ready everytime he loses control .

The man slowly got up , his hands on his knees , as he felt the discomfort in his body. Looking around he noticed the state of the room , the walls had claw marks which were from last night .

" Just like I thought " . He murmured , an involuntary sigh leaving his mouth as his massaged his temple . Walking around the room , he picked up his shredded clothes in one hand , as he tried to tie them around his body with another .

Successfully tying some of his clothes on his body he opened the door , keeping the key back in its drawer as he walked out of the room through the dark hallway .

Chocolate coloured walls enveloped him as he crossed the hallway and into his room .

' I should open those later . ' He thought as he noticed the closed curtains .

Thinking about the people he was spying on , he murmured to himself , closing the bedroom door

' A new day , a new victim . '

Today was practice day and he would practice so well , that when the time comes , he would spare no one .

" PRACTICE HARDER !! " The woman screamed as her students trained harder . Anika walked into the practice room , surprised at how angry her trainer sounded that she could hear her even when she was not in the room , and the walls in this room were definitely not thin walled .

" Why were you late ?" She questioned her , her left eyebrow arched as she stared at Anika .

" Sorry , work . " Anika spoke looking at the trainer , Mrs . Crawford hoping she would leave her soon as all the others in the room started turning towards the noise .

" What about your friend ? " She asked again , her hands on her hips as she questioned .

" She won't attend today. She is busy with some paperwork ."

' Lies , she was sleeping and so was Anika , '.

She had tried her best to wake up Ava though , but yesterday's late night movie session had ended up with both of them oversleeping and Ava not listening to her and going for extra sleep.

Hearing the sound of whispers Mrs. Crawford changed her focus from Anika towards the rest of the people in the room , who tried to turn around as soon as they thought she was turning , only to end up getting caught by her.

" Anything interesting happening here ?" She asked at some boys who she was looking at dead in the eye.

" No ma'am ." One of them spoke .

" Well then stop chattering and get back to practice " . She hissed at them , as she turned around looking at me .

[ Anika's pov ]

" What are you waiting for ? Leave. " The woman's voice cut through the air as she glared at me .

" Yes ma'am. " I spoke as I hurried out of her sight.

The practice room was very spacious and was seperated into different sections with a wall which was present till the middle of the room . There were a total of seven sections , one was the gym area with all of the equipments that was required and that was where I was headed to

Settling the bag that I had on my shoulders to an empty seat , I got ready. The gym section was filled with other colleagues of mine working out .

It had been five months since I had started coming here for working out , yet it felt like a first time .

The musky smell of sweat had filled the air. Standing on the treadmill , I selected my settings and went for a slow jog . Jogging for a while, I could feel the pain kicking in as beads of sweat started rolling down my face .

Wiping them off , I continued. I could feel my skin cooling down and my clothes sticking to my body .

Stopping the machine , I walked towards my bag to take a sip of water . Removing the bag of the chair it was on , I sat for a while , feeling the pain .

Calming down , I took out my water bottle and had my sip of water .

After freshening up , I walked outside the bathroom in new different clothes.

The pain was still present , but it was much better than before . The after pain would usually come by tomorrow morning.

Today was a day for some digging and Mrs . Hayes would be the first person to be in my visiting list

Going to my room , I took the necessary items I would need . Contacting the rest of the team members and giving them work to do , I set out .

Parking my car , I got out and walked upto the mansion that was infront of me . Mrs. Hayes had came back to her house last day . She threw a fit about not staying at the hospital and that she wants to back to where she would feel home and has Mr. Hayes's presence .

Pushing on the door bell switch , I could hear the door bell go off , slight sounds of , I believe birds chirping were heard . Within a few seconds the door was attended by none other than Mrs . Hayes who started wailing the moment she saw me. Well , this is not going to be good.
