I was so excited that I did not notice and the last three days went in a flash on the night of the third day we boarded a flight that took us straight to Haridwar Uttarakhand (a very holy place) it is said when Garud was taking the nectar one of its drops fell there. I and 40 other Brahmins had scheduled the ritual to be performed there. We were under the patronage of Saint Bhardwaj but we were in for pain as our Ear were pierced earrings were put in nobody was even given something to reduce the pain. Later our hair was cut also only leavin a short band of hair like a single ponytale . Then there was a yaj and we We wore the Ritualistic Rope.
Then e were taught about how to do yaj,the virtues of a brahmin, if nature calls we have to loop the Ritualistic Rope three times around our ear and then attend nature's calls. We were taught about our patron saint. We were also taught that one maybe born into a family of Brahmins but it is our work that defines who we are as in Brahmins Saint Patanjali ( a major distributer of yoga) The warrior saint Parashuram (it is said he will live until the end of the universe and was a great warrior) and Saint Bhardwaj ( whose knowledge surpassed even that of most of the gods he was the teacher of some of the most powerful gods and he was revived 5 times ) are all revered equally. Always look at the the Janeu(the Ritualistic Rope) and remember that you do not work for yourself, your family members nor for us all Brahmins must strive to work for this civilization and this society. Now listen you must keep a janeu on yourself all the time because it will ward you from evil thoughts and energies , blood and stomach problems. You must keep the Kundal(Ritualistic Earings) on yourself it will always increase your memorising ability and the speed of your thoughts. And do not cut your choti for it will grow dense and protect your head.(For proof https://www.google.com/amp/s/zeenews.india.com/spirituality/heres-why-brahmins-wear-the-sacred-thread-janeu_1908538.html/amp).
After that we were all given a concoction of milk with turmeric. It is said to boost immunity in ayurveda it also eased the pain. Then we were all sent to a cafeteria where we were served Poha(Poha is an Indian breakfast and snack prepared in the cuisines of Indian states ) and Jalebi(Jalebi, also known as Jilapi, zulbia, mushabak and zalabia, is a Indian sweet snack popular all over South and Western Asia. It is made by deep-frying maida flour batter in pretzel or circular shapes, which are then soaked in sugar syrup. This dessert can be served warm or cold.) after which we were all handed a booklet which had Aarti and Chalisa of all major gods and goddesses(https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.vijaypanditji.com/assets/img/pdf/aarti.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwju_-exyLLtAhXr7HMBHQITAagQFjAAegQIAhAB&usg=AOvVaw1HgqWfc3-Y8dRN1GymQEPO&cshid=1607024413019 This is what it would look like). Later we were told that we were now allowed to go. I asked father if there was any Akhara ( a type of dojo but teaches the way of Hanuman and wrestling but teaches only those type that have a Hindu or Vedic Origins )nearby he replied yes. He also said that you want to test your power don't ya.
Now that cannot be allowed . I asked while giving father the Stink Eye Why??? He said that it was almost time for us to reach the airport and go to Mr. Parajunt . He asked mother if she had the letters which she thankfully had.
Now after a flight of 2 hours during which I was bored as hell. After we touched down at Nalgonda District in the Andhra Pradesh we went to hotel checked in and Rested . Now that I could actually rest and the adrenaline wore off I was tired so after attending nature's call, changing my cloth I just went on the bed I did not eat anything for dinner because of exhaustion and directly slept.
