I Don't Believe This

Sarah was a bundle of nerves in the days leading up to Sunday. She had already gone out and gotten everything she needed for Wesley's new room, including Eli's old race car bed, but she was worried how her sons were going to react. Adam only knew about this first because she needed to ask him about the bed and he already knew Jenna and Jonas were coming home.

When everyone came in and gathered around the rather long dining table (the kids were at the folding tables in the living room like always), she noticed they were missing someone. "Where's Peter?"

"He's at that anime convention, remember?" Evan reminded her. "Honestly, Mom! It was all he talked about for weeks before he left."

She sighed. In the wake of hearing about her youngest children she had completely forgotten. She was going to have to call him separately and wasn't particularly looking forward to it. Getting this all out once would be hard enough.
