Who's Disturbed

A plan with open views and rolling grass-covered hills.

A huge rocky giant turtle, an elaborate loft built on its shell.

This is the camp of the leader of the Goat Horns.

The tribal soldiers, on the other hand, were incredibly miserable camping in the open.

Sleep in the grass on the mat, either mound digging, or go hang a tree.

Eating, drinking, and sleeping are basically up to them to figure out on their own.

In a way, the witch wasn't a qualified commander, and if those tribal warriors hadn't been charmed out of their minds, they probably would have turned around and mutinied to chop her up.

On the second floor of the attic, two rooms with closed doors, one to the left and one to the right, Witcher, who had been thanked by both of them for their intrusion, stood helplessly in the corridor outside, looking out over the landscape of the verdant hills.

As night falls, the stars are lit with a faint glow, the attic is fragrant with flowers, and a faint splash of water comes from within.

"Well, it's Violet..."

Standing on the left side of the room and sniffing, Eleazar quietly moves his feet to the right again.

"Why does that guy like tulips so much..."

After waiting long enough to hear all the commotion inside stop, Eleazar thought that he could almost pick one to go in, or would he have to sleep on the grass with the soldiers? So without hesitation, he knocked on the door of the room filled with the quiet scent of violets.

"What for!"

Fina pulled open the door to her room and gave him a blank look.

Pure and flawless body, wrapped up in a bath towel, hot air bubbling on the wet skin, white and red beautiful face, two good-looking eyebrows raised.

It looked as if she was still angry about that incident on the road.

Eleazar chuckles dryly, "Let me go in and take a shower too..."

"You go find that shameless guy!"

Fina said, all angry and ready to close the door.

"Then I'll go in and get something!"

With that said, Eleazar quickly stretched out his foot against the door of the room, and then squeezed hard through the gap with considerable difficulty.

Inside, the room was filled with the scent of violets, a plain folding screen had a few changes of clothes hiked up on it, the cubicle inside was bubbling with hot air, and a bathtub floated with purple flowers was set up, and on the soft mattress outside, black gossamer veils fluttered in the wind, and a tantalizing evening breeze blew gently in from the spacious balcony.

"Ha, coming in!" Eleazar was secretly delighted.

Then he looked back and saw that Luna was biting into the green silk scarf and holding her hands high behind her head, slowly pulling her hair back.

Huh...?

...

Late at night, in a room filled with the scent of enchanting flowers, the warlock, shaking his cuirass and constantly muffling his grunts, suddenly opened his eyes and raised his hand to blast away the figure that had sneaked out onto the balcony.

The sudden burst of evil energy nearly paralyzes Witcher.

Turning his head to look at the figure that had lost its footing and fallen out, his mouth dropped open.

"Leave her alone... Ugh..."

Fina looked a little hard as she sat up, only to see her brow deeply furrowed, her mouth slightly open, her disoriented eyes staring straight ahead, those haphazardly waving arms quickly pulling themselves up, and then her mouth opened wide, two rows of silver teeth biting down on the shoulder in front of her, and she let out a heavy breath of suppressed exhalation.

Feeling the jutting and quivering body in his arms, and the tousled hair on that back, Eleazar had to withdraw his mind and concentrate on digging into the slurping fountain of violet water.

Closing his eyes in physical realization for a moment, Eleazar suddenly opens them again.

Hearing a suddenly muffled grunt from downstairs, his eyes narrowed sharply, and then he leaped out of the balcony in a lightning-fast manner, holding the body in his arms.

On the back of the jagged rock-strewn tortoise, an assassin in a nightshirt slowly pulled the red-stained, demon-breaking dagger from the witch.

"What a coincidence, are you hunting too?"

Hearing the greeting that floated down with the wind, the man jerked his head up, then his eyes glazed over as if they were almost falling out.

Stepping lightly on the knock-kneed rock, Eleazar, who was holding a man in one arm around his body sideways, first his eyes went cold, and then a flash of crimson fire stormed up from his hand.

"Still watching?"

"Bang!"

The assassin staggered back two steps with a face full of disbelief, staring blankly at his hands that had instantly turned into charcoal.

That expensive magic-breaking dagger was melted by the other party's elemental weapon in a direct fire blow, while the terrifying afterglow that came from it even incinerated his own hands.

"How... Maybe..."

"Nothing is impossible, watch out in your next life."

Eleazar heaved his feet, and with a sudden loud cry, his figure instantly crossed over the frozen, motionless assassin to the edge of the turtle's back twenty meters away, followed by another slash of fire.

"No!!!"

A translucent figure was split in half by the fire that distorted the air.

After resolving the assassin, Eleazar sensed the movement around him again and realized that there was nothing out of the ordinary before slowly turning around.

The witch ambled to the ground, the shadow doppelganger of that assassin slowly disappeared, and the warlock in his arms was as motionless as if he were dead, the white snow slowly sliding down his legs.

In a sense, everyone here is all but dead, except for himself.

...

"Ooooohhhh..."

Eleazar calms the howling witch after the rebirth, then glances back at the expressionless warlock and shrugs helplessly.

"Ugh..."

He knew there was no way to get a good night's rest tonight...

The first day in Rouen was spent.

The next morning, the two women watched curiously as he took out the Holy Crystal and charged that abomination of a cursed armor.

"Do you have to charge this crappy armor every day?"

"Uh..."

Eleazar looked down at the holy crystal wafting out a ray of divine light.

"Not necessarily, it can endure for up to a day, but then the Transcendental Activity basically won't be able to use it, and then the next day when it recharges it's in the same state of relief from starvation, and the Transcendental Activity will be able to use it a little bit, but it'll be constrained, and that constraint will last until, well, it can be full, be it the Holy Light, or maybe it's just me..."

Eleazar explained silently, then asked again, thinking about last night's sneak attack:

"Have you guys always been on the receiving end of attacks like this?"

Evelea and Fina looked at each other and shook their heads.

"It's also the first time we've met this kind of assassin."

"You're not disturbed at all..."

Taking the cursed armor back, Eleazar pinched the witch's face helplessly.

In the days when they were forced to separate, one of them used killing and conquest to fill the emptiness in their hearts, while the other relied on drinking to dissolve the thoughts in their hearts, and they were different from what they used to be, full of loneliness that no one understood.

Eleazar is glad he hung in there and came through.

"Want me to help?"

Evelea pouted, "It's fine, we're migrating west now, we'll be out of that territory's sphere of influence in no time."

Just as he finished speaking, a scream came from outside, only to see a shower of arrows shrouding down like a dark cloud outside, and those tribal warriors who couldn't find cover in any way blossomed with blood flower after blood flower on their bodies.

"Enemy attack!!!"
