Chapter 28: The Second Quest.

Fudge brought order to the chaotic atmosphere Lucius and Aster had made while insulting each other, Lucius huffed and sat back in his seat while Aster and Amelia suddenly looked at each other and nodded.

"Now, coming back to the point, I would ask the jury to debate on this and decide which title to take from him to limit his power while also giving him much freedom to manage his other charges," Aster spoke and let the jury decide.

"Very well, the jury has decided that Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore will no longer hold the title of Chief Warlock and it would be assigned to Madame Amelia Susan Bones in light of her fairness and brilliant performance as the Head of the DMLE. Effective immediately and the jury also mandates the presence of Aurors providing the Hogwarts castle with security and the details will be sorted by the DMLE and the Hogwarts Board of Governors on a later date." Jacob stood to speak on behalf of the jury.

The proceedings were going smoothly but Amelia and Aster were looking sharp, not relaxed in the slightest, this made the ones present in the hall even more pleased with the decision of nominating Amelia as Chief Warlock.

But little did they know that the seriousness was caused by something beyond their scale of cognition.

Fudge continued, "The proceedings end with the punishments doled out and imposes a fine on Albus of 5,000 galleons to be paid as compensation to the DMLE. Then I also declare the proceedings closed."

The hearing came to an end and the jury left the room with the Minister. Albus walked up to Amelia and Aster with a displeased face and handed them a pouch filled with gold and left without a further word.

Aster opened the Chat to see the others going nuts over it.

Aster: "So, who wants to go?"

Madoka: "Count me in."

Amelia: "I can't join, I have to deal with the mess Aster got me into."

Kazuma: "I want to, but I don't think I can help with this one."

Koro Sensei: "I am on summer vacation right now, I can join."

Tatsuya: "I would like to join, to visit a different world, I am really excited."

Aster: "Excited? Tatsuya, weren't your emotions sealed?"

Tatsuya: "They were, but with the chip I got, it can deal with the complex calculations without driving my brain insane. It's been quite a rush, with all these emotions, but I am managing quite well."

Fury: "I can't leave my post, there is a lot to keep an eye on in the world right now."

Kazuma: "Seriously? With Aster living there, you think something stronger than him can appear?"

Aster: "There is a certain purple potato head, but that's for later. Now, we have Madoka, Koro Sensei, and Tatsuya willing to join. Let's get this started."

Amelia: "All the best."

Kazuma: "Bring us souvenirs."

Queen of Nightmares: "Invite a female member this time."

Fury: "I will make a monument if any of you guys die."

Kazuma: "Koro Sensei, let me make a will."

Koro Sensei: "Go on, I'm writing."

Kazuma: "If I die, donate my body."

Koro Sensei: "How noble, is there anything you would like to add for someone?"

Kazuma: "Yes, just give my fiddle fingers to Fury."

Fury: "You midget mother*ucker, I will slap your birch ass face and I will do it with a smile as I look at you with my single mother*ucking eye".

Aster: "Savage!"

Amelia: "Can you stop with those uncouth words?"

Madoka: "You are brave Kazuma, you pissed a spymaster off and you did so with a smile, I Madoka declare you the 'idiot', bear it with pride."

Queen of Nightmares: "Aster, just what have you been teaching her?"

Aster: "Hey, don't blame me in your human issues, I am a spirit."

Tatsuya: "Is that a valid excuse?"

Koro Sensei: "Sure is, even I do it and claim that I am an octopus. NYHUHUHUHU~"

Madoka: "Check out Ivy, ain't she gorgeous?"

Fury: "What is that monstrosity?"

Aster: "That's Ivy, ain't she pretty, just look at those beautiful amber eyes."

Amelia: "Just how did it change that much?"

Aster: "She, not 'it', and she just passed her 1111th birthday, she evolved. Now she can control her eyes and even understand us. She might be able to talk someday, who knows?"

Fury: "Don't you dare to bring it on a walk outside the Frozen Lands."

Madoka: "Don't worry, she's a good girl, she does not bite."

Fury: "Amelia, please tell me that you will stop these crazy mother*uckers."

Amelia: "I can't... The Frozen Lands belong to him and even if he didn't who would arrest him, you?"

Fury knew that he had no other way but to bend over when karma came over for his ass.

Tatsuya: "Jokes aside, the time is nearly up, what do we need to prepare?"

Aster: "Just your CADs, I will handle the rest."

A bright light flashed and the four vanished from where they were.

Back in Hogwarts,

The draught of restoration got the petrified students and the cat fixed in a jiffy, the students were relieved with the Monster of Slytherin gone. Many of the older students were displeased with the Headmaster and his inaction when they saw that this was solved by the DMLE in a few hours where the headmaster did nothing and waited with his deep machinations.

The Daily Prophet did not cover any of it like the usual but the word of mouth did spread about the Headmaster's lack of action and weakness. The children from the families under the Dark Faction openly discredited Dumbledore, while most silently supported them, only a few spoke on his behalf.

But with the news of him being removed from the position of Chief Warlock, the Dark Families had mixed feelings, for they knew that the man losing power was always welcome but him not being there in that position would mean no pardons or lessening the severity of their punishments.

But they had nothing to say when the one who replaced him was the Head of DMLE, Amelia Bones, the woman might be a bit strict, but she was fair, she was always fair. They could not raise a single objection to her appointment.

The parents who were well connected in the ministry came to know that the supposed monster in the castle was a basilisk, they sent a flock of Howlers at the man's door. The whole incident made him lose much of the public image and power he had painstakingly built over the years.

In short, Albus Dumbledore was not at all pleased and he was a Gryffindor by heart, and a wounded lion was even more dangerous, he vowed to show the muddleheaded idiots how wrong they were, and how everything would have been fine.

How it all was done for the greater good. The old man busied himself in the intricate web of schemes and lies he spun to keep the world under his control.
