Rosetta

I slept very late at night, my alarm started buzzing and I swear I want to break it with a hammer. My mind is still thinking about everything even in my sleep, I want to relax but I can't not at all after last night's accident. I want to know the truth but I'm scared too whenever I think about Drake all I think about is his great hot and innocent personality but who is he? I don't even know him. I stood and headed straight to the bathroom…. Only a shower can make me feel relaxed. After taking a long but relaxing shower I got dressed and prepared myself for all the unexpected and impossible stuff.

I heard a knock at my door.

"Rose, it's me Chris opened up."

"I'm coming," I quickly open the door.

"Good morning!" Chris smiled and I smiled back.

"Good morning Chris."

"Did you sleep last night?" Chris asked.

I shrug, "A little," I said.

"Yeah, me too. Anyway, are you ready?" Chris asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, I am." I once again look at the mirror. I'm ready to go. Our dorm is so warm from the inside but when you go out the only thing you desperately want that time is to go inside again. It's a cold town, actually, it's freezing. We walked slowly, looking around the black forest trees.

"Chris, did you think Drake likes me?" I asked and Chris chuckled.

"I'm damn sure he likes you, Rose. I know my brother. He truly loves you but he is unaware of it." My cheeks start blushing. "Girl! I know you like him too. I saw that you both like each other, admit it or not."

While we were talking I didn't realize that we are almost here and that beautiful ice cream mania stands right in front of us.

That ice cream has a bell on top of the entry door so whenever someone pushes that door that bell rings it's kind of pretty cool, I saw Drake and Andrew standing in front of us, and as always Andrew and Chris start kissing while Drake and I sit beside the window I can tell, he liked window seat just like me.

"Are you feeling better?" Drake asked me softly. I sighed, "Not until you tell me the truth, Drake."

He smirks, "Right, the truth—" He let out a dry laugh, staring at the window and tapping his fingers gently on the table.

"Some truths are unbearable, we want to get rid of that past but our heart won't let it."

I sighed, "It's because the past in which we are dying is the best we ever had.

Drake, give yourself a chance to just… let it out…. All the pain, fear, anger, everything. Let it out." I'm just staring at him, he didn't say anything.

Chris and Andrew now sit with us for keeping us company.

"So, everything is okay here?" Andrew asked. "Yep, everything is good, bro," Drake replied.

"Hey, you know what; let's order our ice creams first."

"Good idea Chris," Andrew said as he waved at the waiter.

"Your orders, please? The waiter said."

"Well, I like to order Oreo ice cream. Tell them yours, Chris." Andrew said. "Mango ice cream," Chris said. "Rose, you?"

"Pineapple," I said.

"You girls are so fruity," Andrew said.

Chris laughs, "It's because we care about our health right Rose?"

"Yeah, absolutely," I said.

"Okay, and you Drake?" Andrew asked.

"Well, some peanut butter, Nutella, Oreo double chocolate ice cream."

"Really, Drake?"

Drake smirked devilishly, "you know me, Andrew."

After the waiter is gone, I'm getting worried again; I'm worried about the truth.

"So, Rose….. Do you want the complete truth or a little bit?" Andrew asked.

"How about a complete story?" she said. "Okay," Andrew smiled then he sighed as he met his gaze and I was already looking at him.

I smirked! "Take a guess? What do you think we are?"

She takes a few seconds and then "I think you guys are angels."

"What on earth, you possibly think that we are angels?" I asked with curiosity.

"It's because last night, Chris was trying to kill that monster, it's a good thing right?" Chris grabbed her hand, "You're amazing Rose." She smiled.

"We are the opposite of it. We are the "Devils", the real devils." Andrew tells her and I keep staring at her and it's the first time I can't understand what she's thinking right now, she's quiet and just staring at us.

"He's right Rose, we belong to a Devil family, it's in our blood, and Chris well, she is hybrid."

"This can't be real? Devils and hybrid, are you kidding me?" Rose's face is like she's trapped in some sort of big puzzle.

"It's real Rose, you can't say it's not real, because what happened last night is proof," Andrew said.

Rose folded her arms and sat back, "Can you elaborate it, Andrew?"

"As you know we belong to a devil family but there are other devils too, it's a community called "Devil's community."

Andrew sighed, it's '' Mystic Grave '' who leads that community." I'm waiting for him to continue but Andrew stops talking so I decided to continue.

"Hey, Rose I tell you a story about us." She narrowed her eyes, "Okay then, go ahead?"

"There's a most powerful stone on earth called '' Zircon '', the one who had that stone becomes the most powerful, immortal devil. The one who had that stone can also reign his '' Devil World '' Also, the one who had Zircon can use its power on his or her family so they can become immortal too."

I sighed... "Our grandfather and Mystic Grave had huge fight years ago, they both want that stone to destroy the human world and become the ruler of our world.

The Devil World. Oh, let me add one important thing. The stone has the ability to appear and disappear by itself."

Rose raised an eyebrow and we all started laughing at her reaction. "Stop laughing and continue your story, Drake."

"Okay, okay. The person who wants that stone just because of good deeds and with good intentions can see and hold that stone and it's definitely not our grandfather and Mystic. It was our dad who had that stone because he doesn't want to hurt anyone.

Even I can see and touch that stone too. One night, Mystic and his crew attacked us. That bloody devil offered our grandfather that if he tells them where his son is, he makes him powerful and immortal too. Our dad was innocent but our grandfather….. He betrayed us." Fresh tears made my vision a little blur but I refused to let it out. Rose holds my both hands and squeezes them.

"I'm so sorry."

"It's okay," I said as Andrew places his hand on my shoulder.

"I'll tell you the rest of the story, Andrew said." She nodded.

"When our grandfather betrayed us Mystic and his team killed our parents.

But we brothers ran away from that place because if we don't, they killed Drake that night too because he's the next Devil who can take Zircon. After a few months, our grandfather showed up and he knows where we are after all this time but he didn't tell Mystic about us.

Take a guess why he did that. Why didn't he tell Mystic about us?" Andrew asked. Rose looked a little confused at first, "it's because he's trying to use Drake for that stone?" She said softly. "Exactly, you are a genius," Chris said, "He's using him to get Zircon."

"Why is he so mean?" She asked as she glanced at me.

"Power….. It's the power who can destroy everything," I said. "We had a deal." Rose sighed, "What it is?"

"Once I get that stone, I let him have it, if I don't…. he kills my brother and Chris too. He informs the hell community about us if I don't agree with what he wanted, so I agreed because I don't want to lose my family. I can't survive with that pain that I lost my brother or Chris... and you. You all are important to me."

"Brother! We can't live without you too. Chris and I love you and you know that." Andrew said as I softly smiled.

"I love you too, all of you forever." My gaze met with Rose and she smiled but it was a faded smile. I know she's still in shock after hearing all this.

"Mystic doesn't know where we are so he sends his monsters the most deadly creatures in Winchester to find us," Chris said. "Rose, we are trying our best to protect everyone but it's a dangerous thing." Not only the grandpa but Mystic and his crew are the biggest danger to us. They are just using people to find us and kill us.
