LARA'S POV

I don't know what time of the morning it is, all I know is that my phone is ringing somewhere in the room. I would like to sleep a little more at least, and if I wanted to achieve that, I had to put an end to that infernal sound first. "What" I responded without even looking at who it was "Lara…" Isabelle whispered on the other end of the line, and she seemed stressed, which makes me sit up on the bed quickly, noticing a slight dizziness.

"Isa, what's wrong?" I asked, worried for her since it's not normal for her to call me like that. "Do you think you could come pick me up at the airport?" She asked and I frowned not understanding what she meant. "Airport?" I asked confused. "Before they left, your mother told me what you were doing and I would like to be there for both of you" she said, and I took a deep breath. "Isa, you shouldn't have done it, we're going to be okay…Cam is going to be okay" I said, not knowing what to say to her.

"I know you will be, but I would still like to be there for you" she noted. "And we appreciate it, but are you sure you're ready to come here?" I asked, worried about her "I will be, it's time to go home" she replied, and I nodded "When do you need me to come get you?" I asked, "Can it be right now?" She asked and I frowned, trying to figure out what time it is and seeing that it was almost one in the afternoon. "You're here already?" I asked, surprised. "I've been sitting here for two hours trying to figure out who to call" she admitted, and I quickly got up, waking up Cameron.

"Why didn't you call me sooner?" I asked calmly and starting to get dressed "I was in shock... I think I'm shocked right now" she answered, and I nodded finishing dressing with the first thing I caught "Do you want him to go?" I asked "NO… I mean, I would like to calm down before he sees me, he's going to worry."

"Okay, see you in a bit" I said, and Isa hung up "Where are you going?" My husband asked, wiping the sleep out of his eyes. "Don't worry, I'll come back in a bit" I responded, going up to him and giving him a kiss. "You're not going to the garage, are you?" He asked and I denied "No, don't worry" I answered honestly "Do you think it will take you too long?" He questioned and I shrugged. "Honestly I don't have the slightest idea, but I promise I'm not going to go to the garage" I insisted, knowing that's what's worrying him. "You should have breakfast before you leave" he pointed out and I denied. "Could you make me breakfast? I don't think it will take that long to come back."

"Okay, anything specifically you want" he asked, and I denied "No, anything will do" I informed him, and he nodded "Okay. Take care" my husband says, and I nodded giving him another small kiss "I will. I won't be long" I responded, and he nodded "I love you, Lara" he said as I put on my jacket "I love you too, darling" I responded and left the room to go look for Isabelle.

At the moment I was going to leave through the door, my grandmother stands in front of her with her arms crossed over her chest "A onde vas tan lixeira? (Where are you going so fast?)" she asked with a raised eyebrow "Abuela, ahora mismo teño que facer algo importante (Grandma, right now I have to do something important)" I said, not preferring to focus on the reason why she's here and when they arrived. "If it's to see your husband's car, I can assure you there's time for that" she insisted, and I denied. "It has nothing to do with Cam's car, it's something else."

"Then you can tell me" She insisted, and I denied "Grandma, I don't have time right now, I have to go get her" I responded pushing her away carefully and heading back to the door "Go get her? Whom?" grandma asked following me "I'll explain it to you later, but seriously, I'm in a bit of a hurry right now" I insisted and she nodded "Okay, be careful dear" she said staying at the door of the house "I will do it, I love you grandma" I said before "I love you too," she replied calmly, letting me go to Isabelle, who I hope is okay.

ISABELE'S POV

I'm sitting in one of the chairs at the airport. The truth is that I don't know how long I had been here exactly, but I know Lara would come, and maybe she would come quickly, I just hoped she didn't have some accident or something. The last thing I want for my son is to lose the woman he loves and their child.

Not much later, I'm still looking at the ground when Lara appears in front of me, resting her hands on my knees and giving it a squeeze. "Everything is fine. Shall we go now, or do you want to wait a little longer?" She asked in a soft tone, and I nodded. "The last thing?" She asked and again, I nodded "Okay."

Lara got up, sat next to me and took my hand. The truth is I felt a little better with her presence. I know she would be the only one who could understand me better than anyone else, in the end, she never passes by where she and her father had the accident, and she still has a certain phobia about riding in street cars.

Not much later we left and headed towards her car. Although I know it wasn't one of her fastest cars, I knew that, with it, she wouldn't go slow. Once inside the car, Lara started and got out. She left the parking lot where she had parked her car. "Why did you decide to come?" She finally asked and I took a deep breath. "Because of what I told you on the phone" I answered. "You didn't have to do it... We were going to be fine" my daughter-in-law assured me, and I nodded, because I knew it would be like that, but I also wanted to be there for them. I knew that all of this would affect them in one way or another.

"I know, but I would like to be here anyway... Also... I miss Manchester a little bit" I mumbled the last part and I could see how a small smile appeared on her face "You spent practically your entire life here, it's normal You miss it" she replied, and I nodded, because even though that's partly true, it wasn't the reason I missed it. "It's not entirely the reason," I murmured and watched as she frowned. "So why?" She questioned "Because my children were born here... the three of us lived here..." I began and just at that moment Lara stopped at a traffic light "There's something else, isn't there?" She asked and I nodded. "The guys who killed Ellie sent me a letter telling me they would like to explain why they did it and they have evidence to prove that they are telling the truth."

"And Cam doesn't know anything about this?" She asked curiously and I denied "No, they sent him a letter too, but luckily, I managed to get it before he saw it" I admitted, and Lara frowned "Why don't you want your son to find out?" She asked and I sighed again "Because first I want to make sure it's true. I don't want Cam to suffer any more because of what happened to his sister and if I decide what they say is true, then I'll tell him." I informed her and she nodded. "I agree with you on that but are you sure you can go?" she questioned in a worried tone, and I shrugged. "I don't know, but I have to go to make sure."

"What if I go for you?" she asked, starting the car again. "Go for me?" I asked a little confused "Yes, see if they convince me and then I'll let you decide what you want to do" she answered, and I thought for a few minutes "And wouldn't you tell Cameron?" I asked, fearing she was going to tell him, "Not a single word. Not until we make sure it won't do any more harm to him the way her murdered has already done" she answered, and I nodded, making it clear to me I could count on her to help my son get better.

"It's…" I started, but at that moment Lara's phone starts ringing, which she replies with the hands-free "Honey, are you going to take a long time to get home?" my son asked with a slightly worried tone. "I don't know, why?" My daughter-in-law asked with a smile on her face "Because Sam came to pick you up to go to the gynecologist" Cameron informed, and I could see how the size of my daughter-in-law's eyes increased "Shit. See you there? I don't think I'll have time to go home to come back" Lara responded. "Okay, but tell me at least you had breakfast" my son asked and I could see how a small smile appeared on Lara's face "I'll do it after the appointment" she said and I heard someone on the other end of the line, probably Cameron, took a breath of air "Lara, we already talked about this…" my son began to scold and Lara just laughed "I promise I'll eat something later. I'm driving right now. See you there, love you Cam." she said without giving Cameron time to say anything else.

"I'm sorry I didn't give you time to have breakfast" I apologized, and Lara just denied. "Don't apologize, I wasn't hungry until he said so" she responded with a smile on her face "If you want, we can go somewhere to get you food" I replied, and she denied "I won't need it. Sam and your son will give me enough," she replied, and I frowned. "I don't understand," I admitted, and she laughed once again. "Cameron and Sam are going to bring me something to eat, and I can assure you."

"Alright. You can leave me somewhere while you go to the gynecologist," I said, because the last thing I wanted to do was bother them. "No, you come with me. You'll be able to see your grandchild live" she responded with a big smile on her face "Unless you don't want to see Cameron yet" she pointed out and I denied "Of course I would love to be there" I responded, and Lara's smile widened "Perfect"

Not much later, we arrived at a building where I guess we would have to go. When we entered, we went directly to the waiting room and they called Lara ahead of time to which she responded she wanted to wait for her husband, but they told her to come in anyway, that we could wait inside quietly since some people had recognized Lara and they asked for autographs and photos.

Almost ten minutes everything was ready, and my son came in smiling, which disappears a little when he sees me there, but I could see how Lara shook her head and stretched out her hand in his direction, which he ended up taking. "Well guys, I'm glad to finally meet you, Cameron. Lara couldn't stop talking about you" her doctor informed Cam and I could see the smile that appeared on my son's face "I don't know whether to be happy or not" he joked. and Lara slapped him on the arm. "Don't worry, she only spoke good things about you," the doctor assured. "Now let's see how your child is" he said, focusing on the screen, and the moment something began to appear, clear on the screen, the doctor first frowned and then a big smile appeared on his face "Well, I have news for you."

"What news?" Cameron asked, a little tense, making Lara give his hand a little squeeze, I don't know if to make my son calm down or to calm herself down. "We have two pairs of legs..." the doctor said with a smile, and one appeared on both Lara's and mine's faces while Cameron tensed up even more. "Does our child have a malformation?" Cameron asked without letting him finish speaking, to which Lara rolled her eyes. "Honey, I really love you but right now you're saying something stupid" his wife pointed out and Cameron began to focus his gaze on his wife. "So, can you explain to me how it is that are there four legs inside you? As...?" He started and Lara denied, "Look closely at the screen," Lara asked kindly, and he started looking at the screen again.

"What am I supposed to see?" He asked confused and still tense, probably because he had no idea what he had to do with it, so Lara stretched out her arm and started pointing out parts of the babies. "Four legs, three arms, two heads... Doesn't that tell you anything?" Lara asked and Cameron frowned. "Can you tell me, so I know I'm thinking the right thing?" My son asked and we both denied, "What if you tell me what's going on in your head?" Lara asked kindly and a big smile on her face. "Are there two babies?" Cameron asked and Lara's smile widened. "There are two babies," Lara nodded, and I could see how Cameron's face went from one of confusion to one of total joy.

"Are we having twins?" he asked, and Lara nodded again "We're going to have twins" she confirmed, and my son laughed "We're going to have twins!" He exclaimed, jumping a little and with Lara bursting into laughter. "I guess you liked the news," the doctor said with a smile on his face. "But shouldn't we have known that before?" My son asked, not standing still in place. "You could see it, but apparently it was hiding behind the other baby, it didn't want to show up," he said, and Cameron nodded, probably not fully understanding what's happening.

"Can you make copies for me?" Lara asked and the doctor nodded. "The same as always?" He asked and Lara nodded "Perfect. You can clean yourself now" he said, and Lara sat up, but it was Cameron who cleaned her without paying much attention to what was happening around him, probably still thinking they are going to have twins.

Once we were able to leave, Lara had to take Cameron's hand to get him out of there since he was still in his head and while we were talking about everything, Cameron was still in his head "What's wrong with your husband?" Lara's friend asked with a frown. "He's probably in shock, but don't worry, he'll get over it," my daughter-in-law informed with a big smile on her face. "Is everything okay with your child?" The man asked and Lara nodded "Everything is fine with our children, take your ultrasound" she said handing him one of the ultrasounds and Sam frowned more "Are they twins?" He asked with a smile starting to form on his face. "They're twins. Now let's go because I'm hungry."

Lara was still holding my son's hand, and I would start to worry if it weren't for the fact that Lara still had a big smile. We went to a cafe to get Lara something to eat and once we got to their house, we got out of the car, with Cam still not saying a single word. "Are you sure Cam is okay?" I asked my daughter-in-law who nodded. "He is, but don't worry, right now he'll be the same old Cam again," she said with a big smile on her face and turning to see my son. The surprise came to me at the moment Lara slaps my son who ends up denying and focusing his gaze on his wife, putting his hand on his cheek. "Can I know what I did now?" My son asked confused, and I couldn't help but laugh. "You haven't said a single word for almost an hour, and your mother was starting to get worried. It was the only way for you to listen to me since I called you thousands of times in the car."

"A ostia que levou o pobre home non é normal (The hit that poor man took is not normal)," said Bianca, appearing at the door of the house. "If he listened to me and didn't worry Isabelle this wouldn't have happened" Lara pointed out and at which both her sister and I couldn't help but laugh "The weird thing is he didn't seem to be playing attention to you" Bianca muttered, focusing her gaze on Cameron "I was shocked, but I assure you that everything is fine now."

"In shock? Why? Is everything okay with your child?" Bianca asked in a worried tone and Lara nodded "Yes, everything is fine, and it was because WE'RE GOING TO HAVE TWINS!!" Lara exclaimed with a big smile on her face and saying the last thing loudly, which the rest must have heard, because it didn't take long for them to appear at the door looking at her. "Tell me you're not joking, Lariña" said Carmela. "E verdade abuela, vas a ter dous bisnetos (It's true, grandma, you're going to have two great-grandchildren)" Lara responded and everyone go in their direction to hug her "Oh, wait until they find out at home, they'll to be happy" Carmela said and I nodded, because it was probable "So much so it's even possible they'll throw a party just like when they found out that you were pregnant"
