Misunderstood

"Aiya, There you are Jade. I've been looking all over for you..."

An old woman came out of the backdoor, it was Madam Pearl, she had an amiable smile on her face.

Rin and Tony's confrontation got interrupted. Tony immediately let go of Rin Chan and walked away opposite of her like he was just a random stranger, just passing by.

The old lady didn't took notice of him since her eyesight was poor.

Rin Chan cleared her throat, and smiled gently at the old madam.

"Why are you still here? You should get ready for your blind date. Jack said that you and his friend will be compatible. I hope this time, you'll like your date and get settled.

He said to passed on the venue and time to you, it's in the Regal Palace tonight at 8pm. Rest first and be there on time.

Madam Pearl said while smiling, she had been pushing Rin Chan to go and date and look for potential partner in life cause she sees her younger self in her.

When Rin Chan came to her and applied for a part time job, she notice the lack of enthusiasm in her.

Like she was just an empty vessel. Just like her when she was young and her mom suddenly passed away, she didn't have any sense of purpose in life whatsover until she met her husband.

He had given her a new breath of life, he inspires and helped her ger through her pain, and so she thought maybe 'Jade' also just need someone to rely on, someone to look forward to and have plans for the future.

Rin Chan just awakwardly smiled. She doesn't want to be rude so she doesn't turn down her boss setting her up for blind dates.

She walked towards Madam Pearl and escorted her inside.

She take a glimpse back at the alley only to find that it was empty.

'He didn't hear it, right?'

Rin Chan convinced herself as she heave a sigh of relief and closed the backdoor.

After she had picked up her items in her locker, Rin Chan went to Tia and TP's table to bid farewell.

"Oh, you're going home already? Why? Are you sick or something?"

Tia worriedly asked. Rin Chan shook her head and was about to come up with an excuse when madam Pearl suddenly appeared behind her.

"Aiya, she's going out for a date."

The old madam said giggling. Tia and TP looked at each other and they both thought Rin Chan was going on a date with Tony.

They both stood up and drag Rin Chan out of the shop.
