Chapter 83.5: Magic weapons
In addition to creating powerful gusts of sharp air and blades of wind capable of slicing through buildings as if they were made of paper, Windstorm also possessed an ultimate destructive ability that surpassed even an ordinary 4th-level offensive spell. It was this ability that gave the halberd its distinctive name.
The moment Enzo brandished the weapon, the wind blew violently, swirling around him. A silver blade of light shot out of the halberd and headed straight for the ogre. When the light was only a few feet from the creature, it became a huge flash that enveloped all the surrounding buildings.
The flash faded as quickly as it had appeared. But an instant later, a surge of magical energy spread in all directions, and a column of hurricane-force wind appeared out of nowhere. The column soared into the sky, over sixty meters (196.85ft) high, and grew into a fierce windstorm.
