Amazon Rainforest? Yel gasped. He looked around him. Massive trees towered around him. Little sunlight reached ground level due to the dense canopy above.

Looking at this, Yel noticed that his agility stat was the highest right now. In Awaken, your starting stats were determined by your body conditions in real life. The brain scan at registration was also having a scan of your body. Yel's agility was at 5, which was very good for a start. Usain Bolt's agility stat based on Awaken measurements, would have scored an 8, so Yel was not disappointed.

He kept looking:

This talent sucks. Yel thought. For one, the value is fixed at 200%, which meant that this talent had no room for improvement. For example, if we take another A rank talent, [Boar Spirit]. This talent increases Physical Attack by (100 + 5 x STR)%. In early game, when the owner has 5 STR, this talent would only increase their attack by 125%. Yel's [Speed] demolishes it. 

However, during late game, this [Boar Spirit] person might have a STR of 70 or even higher. The talent would then increase their attack by an absurd 450%. Meanwhile, Yel's talent has no growth value, and would stay at 200% more Speed. Yel's talent would be extremely behind.

Secondly, Yel thought the talent was lame. Speed? Really? What would speed do? He thought it didn't fit into his plot armour as a traveller.

Yel was dumbstruck. Now this talent was even worse! Yet he could not regard it in a negative way anymore; he was afraid of a further de-rank.

Firstly, this talent was now at F rank, the worst in Awaken, and possibly the only F in Awaken.

Secondly, it is now a debuff. According to Lee, this talent belongs in a trashcan more than a "Burst" talent.

Thirdly, it decreases Attack, not specifying what type of Attack meant it decreased all types of Attack.

Before he could analyse his situation more, a new system message popped up.
