Match 1: Wu vs Lee

Lee widened his eyes and frowned.

Rin stepped forward and said, "What? You gonna beat us all up?"

Yel smiled, "Of course not, I'm a civilised person, we'll settle this with duels, in game of course, unless you want to fight in real life."

"Hmph, you seem confident that you can win against all of us," Rin said.

"Of course not!" Yel said. "I don't expect to win, I'm just suggesting a new method around things."

"Let's all meet at Sura," Lee said.

Sura.

Yel was back in Timon's cultivating room.

He looked around, the room was as he had left it and Timon was nowhere to be seen.

Before he left, he had one more thing to do.

Yel felt for the sword that would be floating, invisible, around him. It was there. Even though he had forged it in real life, it was carried into the game.

Yel then checked his Spirit Energy: 5820. He decided to reforge his blade. It also served as an experiment to see if the reforge could be reflected in real life.

He summoned his blade and powered Spirit Energy into it. After a night of cultivating, he no longer needed the power of the system to guide his energy for him.

The blade shimmered and solidified. The shape didn't change, but Yel felt it had become more solid and dense, although the weight didn't change — it was still light as a feather.

Yel easily walked out of the guild with his deputy guild master role. The guild had more NPCs than yesterday and had more players.

Now it looked like a busy lobby full of noises compared to yesterday's unexplored sanctuary.

Yel had no title displayed on his head and his name was set to be only visible to friends, so nobody recognised him.

[You have been invited to join "Lee's chatroom"]

-Lee: South gate.

-Cheng: Ok

-Tairitsu: We are on our way.

-Heng: Coming

-Annihilation: It might take me a while, you can start without me.

-Yel: I'm here already, Lee, where are you?

Yel was there first, being the fastest after all. Annihilation was Jin's username. Unlike the shy girl in real life, the name was full of power and strength.

Tairitsu and Hikari showed up second, "We will forfeit since we are supports."

Yel nodded. Supports didn't have much attacking power, mainly focusing on strengthening teammates or weakening enemies.

Then Lee arrived along with Rin and Jill.

"So Jin and the couple forfeited," Lee said. "It's a fight between Jill, Rin, Yel, and I then?"

"I forfeit too!" Rin said sweetly to Lee.

Yel shook his head in his mind, such manipulative ways.

"Ok, so me, Jill, and Yel, no one else?" Lee confirmed.

"Hahaha of course not," Lee turned and saw Yin, Yang, and Wu walking towards him. "How could such a party not include us!"

"I forfeit," Yang said. "My talent sucks."

"Ok," Lee sighed. "System pair knockout tournament with Jill, Yel, Wu, Yin, Yel."

[Knockout Tournament starting! 1st Match: Wu vs Lee. 2nd Match: Yel vs Jill. Yin bye.]

"Let's do this!" Yin was hyped.

[Match one]

[Wu vs Lee]

Lee was a tank as he said, so Wu expected that his defence will be strong. But he knew everyone had a weak point.

Wu wanted to play as an archer, so his weapon was a bow.

As the match started, Wu quickly sprinted away from Lee, keeping distance. He attached an arrow to the string and fired.

The arrow travelled through air and was directed at Lee's eye.

Lee raised his shield and easily deflected the arrow.

Wu fired another arrow, and another, and another.

Lee blocked every arrow. He called out to Wu, "This isn't going to work!"

Wu just smiled and kept on firing. Lee shook his head and decided to pacen up. He sprinted and tried to cover as much distance as possible.

Then, the change happened. After Wu shot another arrow, it felt somewhat different. Lee didn't notice it and he raised his shield to block.

Yel did; he noticed the arrow was travelling faster, and it was piercing through air with a different tinge to it.

It struck Lee's shield, and went through it. It precisely penetrated Lee's eye. This caused Lee to halt because of pain and blocked his vision.

Lee ignored it and carried on, he reached Wu and slammed his shield onto him. With the brute force of levels, the duel ended.

[Winner of Match 1: Lee]

Another chapter coming today, I feel bad leaving it like this.
