Jin looked at her stats in shock.

It had a massive glow up and would be classified as top tier in Awaken.

Jin didn't know what the Acquaintances had as stats, but she knew that it wouldn't be much better than hers.

If Acquaintances are top tier hidden classes, then Royals are the second best classes in the game.

"Annie," Sofie said. "Butterfly Energy, you might have already noticed, is the big secret to our success."

"This is our fueling power," Sofie explained. "I noticed the scent of Acquaintances on you, so you might already be familiar with Spirit Energy. Butterfly Energy works similarly."

"We can meditate and cultivate to gain Butterfly Energy, but there is a faster way."

"Butterflies are the fueling power of Butterfly Energy," Sofie said. "I don't know if that makes sense. You will see soon."

She opened a door in the training grounds and revealed a brightly glowing portal.

She pointed at it and mentioned to Jin, "This is the Realm of the Butterflies, our ancestors found it and built Sura on top of it, awakening into a great line of mages."

"As Overseers, we have one Natal Butterfly assigned to us at birth," she said. "Annie, the moment you were born, you were destined to become an Overseer!"

"I didn't feel anything special when I was born though," Jin said.

"That's because you haven't made a connection with it yet," Sofie mentioned to the portal. "Enter and you will see. Good luck!"

Jin nodded and walked towards the portal. She placed a step into it and was instantly sucked in.

She found herself in a blank space. It was glowing slightly and flashing in an oddly satisfying manner.

Jin found herself attracted to the glows and found herself absentmindedly walking towards the centre.

She reached the centre and saw an amazingly pretty butterfly.

It was violet mainly, with specks of other colours, like dark blue and turquoise. It was massive, around the size of an eagle; a bit larger.

Jin felt a familiar feeling from the butterfly. It felt like she was back in her mother's womb.

The butterfly fluttered towards Jin and wrapped its wings around Jin.

The wings were soft, yet strong. It wasn't fragile like normal butterflies.

Jin felt the Butterfly's emotions and thoughts. She could understand it.

[Butterfly Communication]

However, it was stronger with her Natal Butterfly. As she hugged onto the butterfly, she could understand more clearly, with clear messages.

The butterfly was highly intellectual.

"Annie…" it whispered in Jin's mind.

"I'm Jade. I missed you," it said. "Do you remember me, we were together in the womb…"

Jin believed it. It was all too dreamy and familiar to not believe Jade.

Jin was confused though. Why did the butterfly call me Annie when my name was Jin?

Xue (Mengtong) Jin. That was Jin's full name. In brackets were her Xianese name (I didn't mention it but Yel's Xianese name, which he absolutely hates to be called by it, is Qiulin).

Jin did not remember anyone calling her Annie when she was born. Her parents didn't give it as a nickname to her either.

Was this a programmed thing? It feels so real.

Then, Jade suddenly morphed into specks of light and entered through Jin's forehead, into her head.

Jin felt the presence of Jade in her Mental Space.

"I will stay with you, and help you," Jade said.

Jin felt something shatter. She was back in the training grounds.

"You're back!" Sofie said. "How was it."

"Dreamy," Jin said.

"Mhm," Sofie agreed. "Being in a different realm for hours sure is dreamy."

"Hours?" Jin said. "What time is it?"

"Near the mysterious disappearance time of Wanderers," Sofie shrugged. "Being part of the Royal Suresa Family does get rid of the weird Wanderer traditions it seems."

Close to the Protective Logout? Jin was bewildered. This meant that it had already been 6 hours!

"Don't be surprised," Jade sounded in her head. "Time passes fast in the Butterly Realm."

"Eeeeeek," Jin screamed. "Jade? You are still with me?"

"Yep!" Jade said. "I said I will be your guardian. I sense a potential threat already."

"Potential threat?" Jin pondered.
