Timon was puffing slightly. At the current stat level, he struggled a bit to keep up with the intensity that Yel had been pushing onto him.

Yet Yel wasn't tired by even the slightest bit. He was standing as if the fight never happened.

Timon took a big breath and recovered his breathing. He clapped.

"Good job passing that first test," Timon said with his typical smiley tone. "I regret using this low stat level."

"Hmph, next time it won't be so easy for you guys," Tina scowled.

Timon waved his hand.

[Acquaintance of the Wind, Stage II] (Class Advancement)

Pass Blade Trainer, Timon's second test.

Completion Reward: Class advancement + access to Stage III.

Failure: None.

Yel jumped when he saw it. It was the final stage before the long-awaited class advancement. But why was there a Stage III even after the class advancement?

"Now, I'm afraid we can't do this one together," Timon said sadly. "But it will be fun and worthwhile!" He cheered up again.

He beckoned to Yel, who followed him back into the guild building. Jill went with Tina back to the assassin guild. Yel shuddered, how could anyone stand Tina's personality?

"Pretty easy, just make one observation about Wind," Timon told Yel after he brought him to a simple room on the upper level of the building. "Simple right?"

"Here, sit on the cushion," Timon pointed to the padding in the middle of the room. "You will understand in a moment."

He left the room and locked the door.

Yel opened the message window and wanted to ask Jill about her side.

[Special Scenario, Communication Blocked]

Now Yel just had to wait in confusion. Soon though, Timon's joyful voice filled the room, "Take good use of this opportunity!"

Suddenly, Yel noticed a swirl of energy in the room. It felt magical, yet familiar. Yel felt he had been surrounded by this energy every day, just not in such amounts.

He then felt a breeze blowing on his shoulder. The wind brushed his body, wrapped around his body, and weaved itself through the room.

Yel understood what Timon meant now. This was a test; it was also an opportunity.

Yel closed his eyes and started feeling the wind around him. He paid attention to the direction of wind flow and the impact of the wind on him.

The wind was sometimes soft, sometimes penetrating, and sometimes playful. They were free and unrestricted.

Feeling the movement of the wind, Yel fell into a peculiar state. He became absorbed in the wind — he felt as if he had become the wind.

He wasn't sure how long had passed, but suddenly, he could "see" green particles clouded around the room. They were like children, running around the room with joy and laughter.

Yel didn't realise it at the moment, but he had grasped onto the realm of spirit energy. His mind swept across the particles: he felt the particles' joy and happiness when his mental energy touched them and they returned a warm and fuzzy feeling. Then they would leave his grasp and dash off elsewhere.

Yel tried to focus on one particle and found that he couldn't. The wind particles fluttered away and they would interact with other particles — Yel would instantly lose track of the one he was focusing on when this happened; there were simply too many of them.

He tried to communicate with them. All they did was give off a will of freedom.

Yel soon gave up communication. He decided to join in with the wind particles. His mental energy flew around the room like the wind. He swirled and twirled in the air with the wind particles.

He felt freedom; he felt joy; he felt complete.

He found the feeling he always looked up to. He wanted to become the wind.

He played with the wind and felt like a child again.

After a few hours maybe, the wind faltered away and the opening of a door interrupted Yel.

Timon's joyful voice filled his mind, "How was that!"

Yel finally understood why Timon was always so positive.

Hello guys, it's me Fan Lingwang.

Personally, I think from this chapter, Yel's overpowering abilities starts appearing, starting with the new class. This class is going to be broken, game breaking! An upgradable class and even more perks! Just read on.

Also little advertisement, if you enjoyed my book so far, check out my friend's book, "Shameless One". He's in debuff as Yin, cool character. He says "Shameless One" is dark and gloomy, male-oriented + villain main character. Give it a go if you enjoy overpowered villains.
