Chapter 7 I can't believe it

"You Love me?" Lucy questioned as her face turned red and she stood where he was.

"Yes I love you. Please be my girlfriend." Uki asked as he was shaking in his shoes.

"I Didn't think you would ever ask me!" Lucy screamed as she ran and hugged Uki.

"Is that a yes?" Uki asked as he hugged her back and lost his nerves.

"Yes it is." Lucy said as tears of joy came falling down her face."Oh I have to hurry and get on the train or me and Mary will be late!"

"Oh I'll go with you."Uki said as he grabbed her hand and they ran into the train as lovers.

"What do we do now that we're dating because I've never had a boyfriend?" Lucy asked as she held Ukis hand.

"I wish I knew but I've never had a girlfriend." Uki said as Lucy looked at Lucy as the train came to there stop.

"You didn't have permission to leave early did you?" Lucy asked as they got off the train and started to walk to the day care.

"No I didn't but I care about you more than my job." Uki said as they walked to the day care now only a few blocks away.

"But why today? Why did you ask me today?" Lucy asked as they continued to walk to the day care.

"Because I had to know and ask you today because I knew if I didn't ask you today I wouldn't ever ask you." Uki said as he held onto Lucys hand as with he would lose her if he let go.

"Is that why you came running from the office and chased me down?" Lucy giggled as they walked front of the day care.

"Yeah that's why I did." Uki said as they walked in the day care.

"Oh Lucy your here to pick up Mary, right?" An elderly woman asked as she looked at Lucy.

"Yes she has a doctors appointment today Olivia." Lucy said smiling at her.

"Oh and who might this be?" Olivia asked as she looked at Uki.

"Oh I'm sorry this is my boyfriend Uki. Uki this one of Marys day care teacher Olivia." Lucy said as Uki walked to Olivia and held out his hand.

"Its a pleasure to meet you Ms. Olivia." Uki said as she shook her hand.

"No the pleasure is all mine Uki but please call me Olivia." Olivia said as she shook his hand.

"How long have you two been dating?" Olivia asked as they walked into the waiting area and Lucy and Uki looked at each other and smiled.

"We just started dating today." Lucy said smiling as Olivia smiled back."Its a funny story too."

"Oh I would love to hear it, do you have time to tell me?" Olivia asked as she told them to wait and she went and got Mary.

"Yes we have time to tell you." Lucy said as she looked at the time."Lets have Uki tell us because I still want to know why he's limping and has blood on his face."

"Oh you want me to tell you the story." Uki said as he held Mary in his arms.

"Are you and sister dating now?" Mary asked as she played with a toy in Ukis arms.

"Yes would you like you hear about it?" Uki asked as he held her in his arms.

"Yes please tell me." Mary screamed as she started jumping in his arms.

Uki told them all about how he felt if he didn't tell Lucy he loved her today that he probably would never tell her. He told them about how he chased her but couldn't find her but saw the elevator occupied and decided to use the stairs. Then he told them how he tripped and fell down a flight of stairs and that's how he rolled his ankle and why his head was bloody. Then about how he almost didn't catch Lucy but barley made it and how he was nervous when he told her.

"And then she said yes." Uki said as he finished the story.

"Oh my, You sure did go through a lot to get Lucy but I'm sure it was worth it." Olivia said as she smiled at Uki as if he passed a secret test she made.

"Yes I'm very lucky to have her." Uki said as Lucy looked at the time and told Olivia they had to leave.

"Bye now and take care of each other." Olivia said as they left and started walking to the dentist.

"Does this mean your gunna be at our house alot more?" Mary asked as Uki carried her on his shoulders.

"I hope so but that's up to your sister. I would ask her if I was you." Uki said as Mary looked at Lucy.

"Yes he's going to be at our house a lot more." Lucy said smiling at Mary whos face lite up when she heard that.

"Why are you holding big sisters hand?" Mary asked as they walked into the hospital.

"Because I don't want to lose her." Uki said as he let go of Lucys hand and put Mary down while Lucy walked to the desk and told them they was there.

"Don't every lose sister!" Mary yelled as she grabbed Ukis hand and pulled him to Lucy and put his hand in hers."Don't lose her."

"I promise I won't ever lose her." Uki said as he held Lucys hand and Mary crawled into his other arm and back up to his shoulder and sat there.

"Yes the doctor will see her in ten minutes." The secretary said as she handed Lucy a paper to fill out.

The ten minutes went by and the doctor looked at Marys teeth while Uki stayed in the lobby. Lucy and Mary came out in thirty minutes and they left to Lucys house.

"Oh is all your stuff still at the office?" Lucy asked as they got into the train.

"Yeah." Uki said as Mary played with his hair as she sat on his shoulder.

"Oh the rest of them are going to be happy to hear that we're dating." Lucy gushed as the trian came to a stop and they got out.

"Why is that?" Uki asked already knowing the answer as the walked to Lucys house.

"Because they love you and like playing with you." Lucy giggled as the got to her street.

"What are we going to cook for them this time?" Uki said as he held Mary on his shoulders.

"We? I'm going to cook for all of us today." Lucy said as they walked in front of her house."But first your going to go and take a shower because that blood doesn't look good on your face."

"Okay but I don't have any other cloths." Uki said as Lucy unlocked the door.

"That's fine you can were one of my dads because hes at the oil field now." Lucy said as her other siblings came running to the door.

"Wow what did you do to Uki?" Trent asked Lucy as he looked at Ukis bloody head and bruises on his arms.

"He did that to himself." Lucy teased as she told him to go and find some cloths for Uki to wear.

"How did that happen?" Erza asked as they wanted to know and Trent came running back with cloths because he heard them say that.

"Well sit down and I'll tell you what happened." Uki said as they all sat in front of him.

He told them everything that happened from his falling to a flight of stairs to him limping and barely catching Lucy before she got on the train.

"You two are dating!" They all screamed as the jumped on Uki.

"Trent show Uki were the bathroom is so he can get fixed up before mom gets home." Lucy commanded and Trent and Uki walked to the bathroom.

Uki took a nice hot shower but his cut on his head stung but he decided it would be fine because it was a small cut. He dried off and changed cloths and walked back to the living room where all the kids where waiting for him and Lucy was cooking supper.

"When are you two going to get married?" Tory asked as the rest joined in teasing them about them getting married.

"Hmm I don't know probably in a year or two?" Uki said as Lucy face blushed in the kitchen.

"Wow I wonder if I'll ever get married?" Loki asked as Trent smiled.

"Only if the girl is blind will you eve be able to marry a girl with that face." Trent teased as Loki got up and chased him around the house.

"Okay enough playing around. Dinner is ready." Lucy said as they all ran to the kitchen and ate fried chicken and fries.

Uki left after playing with the kids and talking to Lucy because they still had work in the morning. He walked home that night admiring the beautiful sky and when he got to his apartment he rushed to his computer and got on his game hoping Darkprincess was online and he joined her lobby.
