Ch 6 - The Fated Rivalry... Maybe

Pov Naruto

During the academy I have consistently maintained the average in the class.

I became closer friends with Choji and Shika.

I also became friends with Ino by relation and she seems fine when she is not drooling over the broody duck.

His family was already massacred.

I'm sure it was not supposed to happen before he entered the academy in cannon but it seems that some things will not remain the same.

I tried my best but Hinata is still too shy to talk to me.

Her family must have really done something to her because such a condition can not happen naturally.

I continued training my senses and my physical exercises but there was no significant changes.

I am limited due to my age and to break through with my senses training I think I will have to gain fighting experience.

I am working on figuring out restriction seals to better my training but I need some understanding of anatomy in order for that to work.

I also started armament haki by punching trees and rocks which has shown little progress.

Time skip (3 years)

I am now 9 years old.

My physical strength has reached high-chunin after I trained with the restriction seals and I am now a fuinjutsu master.

Once I can use my seals in a fight and create a master level original seal I will qualify as a grandmaster according to the sealing knowledge dumped in my head from my bloodline.

Thanks to Kurama I was able to connect with the fire and air elements using the elemental bending techniques.

He would flood a bit of his chakra into my system and let me try and sense when he would switch the elements.

When I meditate I have to ask my self questions like, what is fire?, how is it made?, what emotion would I use to describe it?

This would help me have a better understanding and connect to the element better.

The benders from avatar the last air bender are separated in ranks from novice, adept, solider, master, and finally grandmaster.

In the last three years I have not been able to practice bending much because of the people watching me but I still managed to reach adept in wind and novice in fire.

My fighting techniques advanced a bit when I asked Sasuke to practice with me.

Flashback Pov Susuke Uchiha

I was in the Uchiha training area practicing my shuriken jutsu.

I was focusing my rage and imagining cutting apart my br... that man.

When I was lost in thought I saw a kunai ricochet across the shuriken I threw and they all dropped before hitting the targets.

I looked over and saw the dumb red head in my class.

"What do you want dobe."

How dare he interrupt the mighty Uchiha's practice.

He looked at me in what could only be pity.

Naruto: "You will never get stronger like that."

When he said that I was enraged.

"You know nothing. What can a weak civilian even know."

Naruto: "Great I was hoping you would say that. I needed a sparring partner but for reasons I can't tell you, I can't try my best at the academy so I came to find you. Lets fight."

He got into a weird stance that I haven't seen before and it was weird that he sounded so confident when he loses all the time in class.

"I will teach you to respect the Uchiha."

I rushed at him and just as I threw a punch I was suddenly on my back.

He looked at me in disappointment.

Everything went red and I shot up and started punching at him again.

He seemed slightly slower but I still couldn't touch him for some reason.

Naruto: "Like I said, you will never get stronger if you continue to bottle up your rage like that and then just go crazy when you fight but congrats on unlocking your sharingan."

I ignored everything and walked to a nearby lake to see my sharingan with one tomoe.

"Hahahaha, I am an Uchiha. With my sharingan you will never win now."

Pov Naruto

Are all Uchiha like this or is Sasuke just an idiot.

I just watched him laugh like a maniac and then rush at me.

I was just going to test my fighting style on him because despite everything the Uchihas interceptor fist that he uses is one of the best fighting styles in this world but... he doesn't use it too well.

I knocked him out by hitting him in the chin.

At the very least Madara trained his body to an absurd level and didn't completely rely on his sharingan and ninjutsu but Sasuke does.

He is completely obsessed with revenge and the sharingan.

I came here to not only test my fighting style but see if I could change his mindset but it seems that he is far too gone.

In fact it seems worse then expected.

My eyes turned a bit cold when I thought about the fact that I may have to put him down like a rabid dog.

Kurama: "Kit, just get rid of the damn Uchiha. Like you said, he is far too gone. They are all like this in the end."

I could sense a bit of Kurama's emotions which were mostly rage and I couldn't blame hime.

Naruto: "I don't think your old man will let me get rid of Indra's reincarnation Kurama. That doesn't mean I can't set up a contingency though."

He grunted and I could feel his feeling were complicated when I mention Hogoromo but he didn't say anything else.

Due to my perfect control perk that I received, I could feel the ashura chakra in me but it seems dormant at the moment.

With my senses I could even sense the Indra chakra in Sasuke which seems to activate a bit when his eyes turned on.

I bent down and opened his shirt a bit when I made sure that no one was around with my senses.

I flexed my wrist and a pen came out.

I managed to make this special pen that stores a lot of sealing ink and can write on any surface.

I started writing a sealing matrix over Sasuke's heart and when it was done I pumped my chakra and it sinked into him.

The seal would allow me to paralyze, knock out, or put in a genjutsu to whoever it was attatched to.

I also made it so I could add a transmitter of sorts.

I won't try anything like replacing my eyes but I might try to absorb the Indra chakra with some kind of seal array so I don't have to bet on friendship winning back Sasuke in the future.

I'll have to come back after researching how to do it.

I asked Kurama to wipe his memories of our encounter because with his unstable mindset he might let something slip about me.

Kurama is not very good at genjutsu without his yin half but when I flooded my chakra into the Uchiha's head through my hand he was able to do it albeit roughly.

Kurama is very limited right now as well because I couldn't figure out how to unseal him.

My dad was really a genius, he made it pretty much impossible to open the seal without the key.

I could do it with brute force but it would kill me.

With that I snuck back to my shabby apartment.
