10. OUR FIRST MISSION

We woke up the next day this time I was able to sleep, after getting our breakfast we went to guild in the bar section then we got near the board with diferent mission to see the right one for us.

After searching we found the right one. It's was ranked as a D rank mission and fairly easy, there were some bandid in a forest on the east side of the village they are a small group but they were causing troubble in that area, the other mercenaries aren't interest in this mission since the reward are small and it was a low rank mission. if we compleat the mission we ge 500 gold coins that is not bad. we went to the bartender and asked "To get permision for the quest how do we do?" the bartender said " You have to go at the reception." We then went there, we asked the elf girl and asked

"yes wait a moment" then she extended her arm toward us, and her hand became brighter the paper with the quest dissapered then a notification from the system appered

"Kira do you have a hair tie" I ask her "Yes I have it" she lend me a red hair tie, I use it to tie the upperhalf of my hair in a ponytail. To make it more comfortable. The mission already separated the reward for 2 and even gave us the location, its very convinient after accepting the quest we went out of the guild and followed the map to reach the destination.

SOME TIME LATER

We arrived near the destination but we didn't get to near so we can study a startegy to complete this mission. we hided in some bush and we could see all seven bandid adduned in one place there were 3 mages and 4 warrior one of them was bigger with a more armor that covered most of his body and on the back has a big sword, probably the boss of the group. The other had some armor that covered more the shoulder and the amrs. the mage didn' had any armor but had some robes. It's like they were preparing for their next target. I made my bone shortsword appear in my hand from the inventoryand signalated to Kira to be ready she nodded and in silence without the enemy noticing with climbed a tree above them ready for an ambush.

"Ok Let's reapet this one last time. When our new target pass for this part of the forest we hide in the behind the trees, then we surrond them-"

the big guy was explaing to his subordinate the plan, but was interupted by us that killed one of his warrior and one of the mages doing an aereal assasination surprising them, "Sorry to intruder but we got a mission and we can't fail" I say pointing my shortsword to them and with my eyes glowing red.

From what Kira told me this skill was weak when she first started but after the our first hunting it grew very quickly and became strong. Now only 2 warrior and a 2 mages remained, but we didn't had time for another kill because both mage launched a fireball spell toward us, so we dodge and retrait a little, I can't risk using corpe explosion we are still near to them we can get hitten by the explosion

"You will pay for killing my subordinates" said their boss angered "Like you could speak after all the troubble you have caused" I say to him making him angrier. "It doesn't you are outnumbered" "Are you sure about that." I said smirking to him while I summon my 3 soul wolf ready to attack.

"HE IS A SUMMONER" "FORGET ABOUT THAT LET'S ALL ATTACK TOGETHER" and in that way the battle started. The mages shooted some beam to 2 of the wolves vaporaizing the head, but then they regenerated using my mana. "THEY CAN REGENERATE" "WE HAVE TO KILL THE SUMMONER" one of the warrior tried to attack me but was stopped by Kira and strarted a fight with her, then 1 mage tried to launch a spell toward me but was stopped by 1 of the wolves the other 2 went for the boss as I went toward the only mage left alone, I swing my shortsword toward him but he stop it with his staff. I continue to attack him not giving him the time to use any spell until I'm able to to cut the staff in surprising him, he tried to say something but I cutted him of bu thrusting my sword on is neck killing him.

Mhhm x2, I turn around and see my minion killed the mage and I can see Kira killed the warrior too. I look at my shortsword to see its so ruined that it could shatter at any moments, I need to get a better weapon. Now only the boss remain we can do it.

I turn my head toward the boss schocked to see 2 of my minions dissolving totaly to never return. I need to pay more attetion he's stronger than I thought. Then we start to feel something from that men, it gave us chills all over our body.

"You...How dare you ...Kill al my comrades...I WILL KILL YOU!!!!" shouted the angered man we prepared for the incoming battle but all the sudden a message from the system apperead.

(What does it me-) before i could finish my thought the bandid boss dissapered from our sight and appered in front of me, he swang his big sword toward me I was able to defend my self with shortsword only out of luck. but the force of the hit pushed me back against tree and shattered my sword."HYAKKI" Screamed a concened Kira then she went to attack the boss banid.

POV KIRA

I unsheated both my katanas and went to attack the bandid boss but he parried my attack with his big sword I jumpback and prepare myself for the attack, I quickly charge toward him and use one of my sword to attack, he parries it with his sword so I use the other one to hit is blind spot, and I was able to hit him but it didn't do that much damege tanks to his armor. I have to do my best the mission diffuculty incresed I can tell he became very strong, so I need to give my all to beat him. So I use [CRITICAL SLASH] and I start to slash at him at full speed different part of the body, for as long as I could until I run out of aura, after many slash I ran out aura and I was able to make some cut and make him bleed but it wasn't enogh. "Ahhhh I felt it, now perrish" he lifted his sword above his head ready to swing, I'm tired I don't have time to parry or dodge or to take a potion to recover. To beat him alone is impossible...But I'm not alone
