14. calm but faded

"Oh, you don't need to be ashamed. Oh yes. I forgot that your situation, and now your name is Brian, huh! Brian J. seth, a prince cafe waiter. You are really an honest and charming child!" she said with a teasing tone.

"Stop saying silly things. What do you want?"

the silence he felt while listening to the woman's explanation.

On the other hand..

one of the other medics approached Emily.

The other medics felt overwhelmed because they couldn't get Emily to talk even though she was receiving treatment.

"you ok?" he asked.

Emily still remains silent.

"huh.. I forgot about your condition. Bella told to me everythings. it must be hard for you, right!"

but suddently..

"I didn't come to see you. She have gone out of her way to protect you and Damien. i should have to protect you too, emily. now i failed again..

forgive me, emily!"

as long as the medic hugs Emily.. she was still silent.

(This feeling.. I feel like I've remembered this before. but where?)

but deep down, she felt that the medic seemed to know her.

and when she looked at the ambulance, she saw brian looking down.

"Ah.. you want to rest with him. I'll take you to him. Come on!"

The medic then escorted Emily to where Brian was.

As she walked, she remained silent and didn't want to say anything.

"Sir! Looks like she wants to take a rest with you. You don't mind, do you?" asked him.

Hearing that, Brian nodded and then without hesitation he let Emily sit beside him.

and then leave them while helping others.

they were both silent. but brian looks confused because he is thinking about what the woman said earlier. hard to believe, nor to imagine..

(Nothing. But I'll tell you one thing that might interest you. The incident you're experiencing right now has something to do with what happened to the lady you were protecting earlier. That lady probably doesn't know anything about who killed the doctor..)

" what do you mean? " he said looking confused

(Sooner or later, that lady will become their target again. because she has something that connects you to what you're looking for. your memory... and the answer you're looking for too)

it confused him. from the woman's explanation, new questions began to enter his mind. he had so many questions in his mind, it sounded familiar but it was hard to find an answer.

on the other hand, emily who when she saw brian was silent.. she tried to touch his face.

At first she hesitated, and when she touched the eye which was covered by the bandage..

"Ah.. sorry. You must be worried huh. Well, I have so much to think about. I forgot that you were here." he said while covering his eyes which were covered with bandages

but somehow..

He let Emily's hand still touch his eyes.

"Don't worry about me. I'm fine" he said while smiling.

Hearing that, for some reason Emily's feelings started to appear even though they were a little bit for her.
