A cast out deity comes down to earth and plagues a village, his offer was a simple one. He would ask you to choose between two events, situations or moments and if you pick one. You get a wish, anything you can dream of. However, if you don't choose. It'll be treated as a breach of contract, your soul would be repossessed and your body and mind would be sentenced to some sort of suffering that would suit the way you lived.
Hot ice cream cones, frantic procrastinators, Happy emo kids. The possibility of endless timelines is real but are you?
A mistake is only a mistake when it is repeated, does this apply to all things?
If the sun had a shadow, would it be nighttime?
There are outcomes to every situation. Accidental or not. How would you feel if you knew that it was all predetermined by a group of ideas with no emotions.
Would you still try if you knew it was all predetermined?
Blaming fate for a mistake would actually work.
Humans fear an outcome said ideas know won't happen. Because.
For as long as they live, the worlds will never merge.
Authors notes: I wanted/Planned to make something dark, with writing to match. The concept is original enough and I wanted to add my own little elements, basically a bunch of WHAT IF'S.
I did the best I could so hopefully you enjoyed reading the book as much as I enjoyed making it.
