45 We're in ...!?
Kim Taehyung asks me on a date! What will I do? It is a proper date this time which is a relief. No other people get involved, just us. And now, it's the right time to check my feelings for him, whether I like him or it's just an infatuation. Nostalgic isn't it?
And I begin to panic about what I should wear since he doesn't even inform me where we will be going. According to Tae, our date will be two days as if it's a vacation so I don't know what to do. So I call Jungmin for help with what I need to wear and to pack my things.
"Jungmin, what do you think? Should I wear the red polka dot dress or the flower pattern dress?"
"I think a flower pattern dress. It's good for you." I then nod and take out my dress and pair of heels. And when I glance at him, my head cocks to the side when discerning him frowning.
"Why?" I ask as I hang the dress on my doorknob.
"I thought it would be a two days date, why do you need to dress up? I mean, it was not wrong to wear a dress but I suggest that you should wear that more comfortable than the dress." I sigh while taking out my makeup inside my bag and place it on my table.
"I just want to look good, that's why I'm choosing a dress but every clothes that I've been bringing was casual and also according to him, we'll be having dinner at the restaurant." He hums as he changes his position to my bed.
"What should I bring?" I ask him. Then, he stands up and places my morning and evening facial routine, makeup, and my clothes.
"Done." He said and he gets back to my bed and lays down.
"Are you sure that you'll go on a date with him? Did he just hurt you, neglecting your feelings?" He asks. I know he's worried about my feelings but it's worth a shot if I gave Taehyung another chance to make it up for me.
"Jungmin it would be fine and also, he's not asking me out or something. We just include this as a friendly date or apologizing date. Or a proper date." He sighs and nods.
"That's why I'm worried about you. What if you hurt again." I sit beside him as I hold his hands.
"It won't besides, it is the best choice to figure it out."
"But do you love him?" He implores out of the blue. In all honesty, I don't know if I love him or not. Yes, I adore him and my heart wants him but love? It's a strong word for me because after Taehyung hurts me, love would never define what I feel for him.
Suddenly, the guy in my dreams appears in my mind. I want to find him and ask him everything before my heart opens willingly to anyone. But the question is... Does the guy even exist?
"I wanted to see the man in my dreams."
"All of a sudden? I thought you stopped seeking an answer about the man in your dreams and also your past?"
"I am but it came to the point that I'm wondering about my past, especially the man. I want to ask him, Who is he or why did he choose to save me? Or asking him, what happened that day." I mumble as I lay my body on the bed.
"You know what, let's forget that. Rather than thinking about the man inside my dreams which was not important anymore, I just focused on my date," Suddenly, I shift the topic before getting out of the bed.
"You need to hurry. Taehyung's shift would be ended by any minute." He informs and walks out of the room, leaving me behind.
I take a deep, heavy sigh while looking at the window. Imagining the man inside my head, all of a sudden. I'm ready to let go of all my questions and focus on my present but the dreams come out more often which bothers me. Especially the man in my dreams.
"Do you exist?"
I jolt out of my couch when Jungmin slams the door open.
"Minsoo, what are you doing? Taehyung's shift just ended. He will be here in a few minutes so hurry up and do your thing!" I nod and step out of the room.
After a half an hour, I glance at Taehyung, who's on the couch and I furrow my brows when he's in casual clothes.
He smiles at me.
"Wear casual clothes for now so you'll be comfortable then just change into formal clothes." He instructs. I nod and stroll inside the room to change my clothes.
Then, I wear a nude rose-pink coat with a white shirt inside and match my nude rose-pink shorts and a cup. I grab my black boots and put on some light makeup.
After that, I step out of the room with my suitcase for our 2 days trip. He wanders near me while smiling and carries my suitcase.
"Let's go?" I nod. Jungmin, on the other hand, strides outside his room and saunters towards me.
"Have fun and use protection." He murmurs to my ear and winks at me.
"We're not doing that," I inform him before hitting his arms. He just laughs and pats Taehyung's shoulder.
"You two have fun!" He announces before walking out of the room.
We stride out of the apartment and go downstairs. I raise my brows when seeing Daewool grin at us, waiting at the parking lot.
"Where are we going?" I inquire but he just winks at me. He signs me to step inside the car and I just do what he says.
After 30 minutes of travel, we reach the airport which confuses me. I look at Taehyung, who's giving the ticket and the passport at the counter.
"T-tae, how did you get my passport?" I ask. He shrugs as he gives my passport.
The woman at the counter says, "Enjoy your flight." We smile at her as he places our suitcase inside the bag detector as we cross to the detector, where the guard inspects us. We step inside the first-class airport which is very expensive. He guides me to my seat as he sits beside me.
"Tae, this was expensive for our date," I mumble while stroking the armchair. He takes a deep breath before responding to me.
"I want this to be special so I prepared this date for both of us. So let's have fun!" I smile then nod. Later, I glance at the window whilst watching the skies. It's almost evening so it's dark outside yet the beauty of the skies isn't gone.
"It will be a long journey, even if I don't know where we will be going," I whisper, looking at Taehyung, who's sleeping by now.
"And he's very tired at work," I add while staring at his peaceful face and smiling at how loud he is when sleeping. Hence, my gaze goes back to the sky and sightseeing before drifting into sleep
After hours of journey, my brows frown when hearing the captain announces that the plane is about to land at the airport. My eyes slowly open, sit properly and look around. On the other hand, Taehyung smiles at me as he calls the stewardess.
"Just a sandwich and bottled water please," I notify the stewardess and bestows my food.
"Enjoy your flight." The stewardess says before taking her to leave. I slide up the window and discern the beautiful surroundings. Even if it's nighttime, I could see the light coming from the city.
"Tae! Look at this." I point out the window while giving him space for him to see the city. He smiles and nods.
Suddenly, the captain announces that the plane lands at the airport, safety. The stewardess advises that we can take off to the airplane so excitedly, I stand up and stroll outside the plane.
Promptly, we stride inside the airport to get our suitcase and go outside. Taehyung calls a cab for us so we could go to our hotel. As the driver starts the engine, my eyes glint when glimpsing at the city. The city is very alive even if it's nighttime and the lights coming from the enormous building, the light of the cars, and the light pole.
And when the car stops, my mouth gasp and my eyes wide when I see the famous tower. I glance at Taehyung, who's enjoying watching my reaction. I hit his arms whilst pointing out the famous tower.
"That's the Eiffel Tower! We're in Paris!?" He smirks and nods. I gasp when looking back to Eiffel Tower and back at Taehyung.
"Why did you tell me that we're traveling to Paris?"
"Surprise!" He exclaims as he ruffles my hair. I bite my lips, refraining from smiling but I can't. He takes me to Paris, the city of love. My dream place! It's so romantic when he spends his money just to take me to Paris.
I pull him closer to me as I hug him tightly and whisper, "Thank you for taking me into Paris." He hugs me back and caresses my back.
"You can thank me later because… I'll take you wherever you want and we will have fun."
