10 Alison Becomes Daisy

Waking up Alison looked around and for the first time felt safe. These past few years had been hard on her mentally and physically. Making her bed she started planning her outfit for today. Thinking of Andrew's status and the job she had to perform she walked to her wardrobe. Inside she took out a navy blue pencil skirt and a dark grey button up blouse. Reaching down she grabbed a pair of four inch black peep toe pumps.

Quickly rushing into the bathroom she hurried through her shower. Drying her hair she styled it in a messy bun leaving the few tendrils that were down to curl around the nape of her neck. Applying a dark blue eye shadow she made the rest of her makeup light. Looking in the mirror she was shocked at how the outfit came together with her make up. Digging through her jewelry box she grabbed a pearl necklace with matching ear rings and bracelet. Sliding her new engagement ring on her left hand ring finger she looked completely different.

Walking out of her room she stumbled into Andrew as he left his. Seeing his eyes sparkle at the sight of her she knew she made the right choice. "Daisy you are stunningly beautiful today. I don't know if I can stomach letting others see you like this if you dress like this."

"Silly this is how a receptionist should dress. When do we need to be into the office? If there is enough time I will make us a quick breakfast."

"We have an hour and a half before the office opens so please feel free to make anything you want."

"How does scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits, and gravy sound?"

"Throw in coffee and I will be your slave for the next twenty lifetimes."

"Ha ha ha. Just help me leave my husband to pay me for these meals and I will be happy."

Hearing her laugh he wanted to just pull her to him then and there, but he knew she wouldn't want that. He could hear it in her tone. 'She is trying to draw distance between us. Is it because of what Tony did to her?'

"Alright breakfast will be ready in thirty minutes if you have everything I need. If not I will have to substitute some stuff. But coffee is a must for any household so I know you have that at least."

Walking down stairs she couldn't see the lust building up in his eyes with every step she took. Shaking his head he walked back to his room to slap cold water on his face. After twenty minutes he was ready to face the one biggest temptation in his life. Remembering how she used to swat him away when he was in college he chuckled to himself. 'Is fate trying to give her to me? Will she be willing to stay with me after this?'

Walking downstairs with his doubts he could smell a mouth watering fragrance drifting upstairs from his kitchen. Sitting at the breakfast nook in a corner he watched as she she plated everyone's food before bringing it over. He hadn't even noticed his sister sitting next to him when he sat down. Watching Alison go back to grab their coffee he kept wondering how great it would feel to have her as his real wife.

Finally Mindy couldn't take it anymore. "Daisy be careful it looks like a wolf has taken control of my brother. He might already have your future planned down to the names of your kids together."

"As long as said wolf knows he will be a puppy before me I have no problem with that after I get rid of that ogre of a husband. Who knows my prince charming may just be a big bad wolf."

Mindy started laughing till tears came out at that. Especially seeing her brother's expression like he was a hurt housewife. "I have you know I am a good wolf I am just looking for a princess to tame my wild ways."

At that both girls laugh and continue eating their meal bantering back and forth like old friends. As they finished their meal Andrew checked the time. "Sorry Mindy do you mind washing up the dishes me and Daisy are going to be late if we don't leave now."

"Go I got this much since Daisy refused to let me help her cook this morning. It appears I have to wake up earlier to get a jump start on both of you."

"Good luck on that." Alison said as Andrew walked out to crank his Jeep up. Walking towards the door she turned back to Mindy. "Do you want to go shopping this afternoon? I really had fun yesterday with you. It might be better to get to know each other better since we share a house now."

"Sure pick me up from the salon at seven I have a picky customer at six so you should have time to change before we leave."

"Thank you Mindy." She said as she shut the door. Getting into the Jeep she was supreme by Andrew. He moved in buckled her up then slowly pressed his lips to hers. When it felt like she couldn't breathe anymore he stopped their kiss.

Chuckling he said. " Now that you look like a blushing bride let's go. We can't have you late on your first day Darlin."
