Chapter 8 The Confession (edited)

Somehow, I find myself walking in this darkness. For a while with nothing but my pajama. And as I'm walking, I can feel that something stalking me in this darkness. Vigilant, I stop in my track, observing my surrounding. Out in the distance, I can hear it. A deafening sound of splashing water. Tense, my heartbeat accelerating. As a giant shadow of a salmon appear out of nowhere, swimming around me. Followed by a booming voices in the air, "Survive!" I don't know why, but my body and my soul shaking hearing the voices.

Next, A giant shadow of a Koi carp appear from the sky, "let our bloodline continue!" At last, with a big splash, a giant shark leap out of the ground, "And fight for the future." The shark charging right at me. Shocked, I try to jump to the side, but my body paralyzed in fear. As the shark open its mouth wide open in front of me, "AAAAA." My eye jolted open while screaming in fear. Panting, I'm combing my hair to the back, what was that? My dream getting weirder and weirder by the day. Hmm, do I need to go to the doctor?

"Knock-knock-knock." My thought, getting interrupted, by the knocking from the front door. Frowning, I'm looking at the alarm clock on the night stand, 05.00 AM. Damn it, who's knocking on my door this early in the morning. Sighing, I try to ignore it by stuffing my head to the pillow. But the knocking growing louder. And I can hear, a familiar voice calling me from the front, "hey Ray, wake up." Grumbling, I open my bedroom windows, finding Nicole on the front door. Puzzled, I ask, "hey. What are you doing making a ruckus this early in the morning, Nicole?"

Hearing my shout, she looks up, and wave her hand at me, "morning Ray! Don't you remember? I'm coming here to fulfill my promise, you know." I scratch the back of my head in annoyance, "of course I remember. But don't you think you come too early?" Embarrassed, she scratch her cheek, "ehehehe." Sighing, I say, "anyway, wait a sec, I will open the door." Getting down, I open the front door and take a good look at Nicole. Today she's wearing a pretty tight-fitting sportswear. That insinuate her toned body and firm breast that fit into my palm.

Her short, lifting her buttock, making it more pronounced. Somehow making me want to spank her. Noticing me looking at her body. She covers her chest in shame. With her hand and shout, "you pervert!" Chuckling, I retort while caressing her chin, "well, I can't help it. You're very beautiful today." Bashful, she hangs her head down, to hide her blush. Grinning, I say, "anyway, come on in., and please wait for me to get ready, okay?" Nodding, she's hesitant to walk inside. Seeing that, a mischievous grin forming on my face.

Leaning down, I whisper in to her ear, "don't worry, I won't bite." As a prank, of a sudden I'm nibbling her ear, making her yelp in surprise. I'm laughing while savoring her flustered expression. Annoyed by my prank, she's giving an elbow to my stomach. "Guahh." I'm clutching my stomach in pain while still laughing. As she walks inside my home with a huff. Doesn't want to make her waiting too long. I'm changing my clothes as fast as possible. While I'm making sure that I'm not forgetting. To bring a water bottle for the run.

Walking downstairs, I find her fidgeting on the sofa. Making my mischievous spirit raging again. But, I decide to refrain my impulse. As I don't want, to end up in the hospital. Grinning, I call out to her, "let's go. I'm ready for the training you're going to throw at me today, Nicole." She perks up hearing my declaration, "oh. We'll see about that, come on then, quick. I want to see you embarrassed after our training." I'm cocking an eyebrow, "we'll see." Excited, She stands up and walk to the front door. With a grin, I open the door for her, saying, "lady first."

Wary, she walks outside while looking at me. Seeing that I grinned spanking her butt. Making her yelp in surprise blushing she shouts, "Ray!" I'm laughing seeing her reaction. Annoyed, she hammer my chest in playful manner. Hmm, it looks like she's finally getting relaxed, huh. Raising both of my hand, I say, "Okay-okay, I'm sorry. Why don't we go, and start the training then." Calming down, she's nodding, "hmph, okay. But first we need to warm up, so follow my lead!" Excited, I pump my fist in the air, "yeah." Following her lead, we start with an easy warm up.

Then we're running around the block. On the second lap, my breathing start becoming ragged. Seeing that, Nicole say, "hmm, it's looks like this is your limit, huh?" Between forced breath I say, "of course not!" she shakes her head, "stop Ray and listen to me. You need to control your breathing and don't force yourself." Confused, I ask, "How do I do that?" Hearing my question, she starts slowing down, "now follow the way I breathe, okay." Seeing me nodding, she starts doing a peculiar way of breathing.

Following her example, I imitate the way she breathes. Satisfied, she's nodding, "yeah, that's good Ray, keep it up!" After learning how to regulate my breathing. My body feeling invigorated enough to do two more laps. But, at the fourth lap, my body starting to ache. As my breathing growing laborious. Seeing that, she's telling me to stop and rest for five minute. We made a quick stop at the nearby park to rest. Exhausted, I fall on the grassy area of the park. After resting for two minute, I can feel my strength. Start to come back, so I change my position to sit.

Taking out the bottle that I brought from my pocket. I'm guzzling down the water that I brought from home. While drinking, I take a look at what Nicole doing. And finding her start training by herself. She starts doing a shadowboxing, push up, sit up etc. I'm looking at her training from the start to finish in silence. Fascinated by her hard work. Seeing that she finished her training. I stand up and give her my bottle to drink, "it looks like you need this." Surprised, she takes the bottle and finishing it.

Breathing a sigh of relief, she says, "thanks Ray!" I'm shaking my head, "No need to thank me. You help me enough as it is. and I should be the one that thank you." I pointed at the nearest park bench, "why don't we sit and chat there for a while?" Seeing that she's nodding, so taking the opportunity. I'm grabbing her by the hip and escorted her to sit beside me. She blushed, feeling my hand touching her hip. As she stays silent about it, while moving closer to my body. So that mean she's allowing me to do it. Since it's early in the morning, the park is pretty quiet. Save for the occasional jogger that pass by.

While cuddling on the bench, I'm placing her head on my shoulder. Her face turn beet red, in shame, feeling the warmth from my by. And I can hear her heart beat grow louder, as I'm holding her body closer. Caressing her chin, I'm bringing her face closer to mine, whispering, "Nicole. I will be honest with you, I love you." Her eye goes wide, hearing my sudden confession. Flustered, she jumps out of my embrace and says, "wait-wait--wait. It's too fast, we haven't even gone on a date yet!" I laugh hearing her question, "we can go to many date after this. But I'm thinking this is the last time I can confess my love to you."

With a serious expression, I get down on my knee. Taking her hand, I say, "So, I'm asking you. Would you be mine, my sweet Nicole?"
