"Hi, Sarah, wanna catch some movie!"

Leon asked.

"Sure, I would more than love to!"

It was a Friday evening, and everyone had walked out of the office. The weekend mood had just picked up.

Leon had just locked his office when he found Sarah doing some makeup on her desk. She was his assistant. But he relied on her more than a personal secretary.

As they walked to the lift. Leon spotted someone smoking outside the lift. "Who are you?"

"Benjamin! and who are you?"

" Jesus Christ, he is the boss !!" Sarah cried out.

Ben just excused himself and got out of the lift. "He is so fidgety, rude and unsure!" Leon smirked." what does he do?"

"Don't mind!" He is the gardener

"Do we even have one?" Leon was puzzled

"No, the roses outside our offices and the parlor!"

"Ooh, roses. sure. roses!" Leon repeated as if he was trying to picture them in his mind.

The streets were crowded. Leon squeezed his way through as Sarah tugged along. She bumped into several people. "Watch where you are going! "Somebody growled.

She was busy chatting up Lisa

"Lisa, am on a date with Leon!"

"Really! Where?"

Sarah thought for a while and before she could reply, Leon said "you gonna stand there or you gonna get into the car?"

Leon had an obsession with speed. That's why he always drove alone. People feared that. "Quite a nice day? " Leon said peering into the driver's mirror.

"Yeah!" Sarah replied absent mindedly

"How's your brother doing?"

"Great, he even wants to record a couple of songs!"

"That's great!"

"What did you say?"

"Looks like someone's busy?"

"No, thought you said, the stray!"

"Ooh, you watched that!"

"Sure, nice movie!"

They got out and walked to the cinema. Sarah wondered where the car was parked cause they had gotten out so fast. Leon got to the counter and was buying some tickets, suddenly he was smitten. The lady at the counter looked at him square "may I help you sir!"

He had never seen anyone so beautiful.

She was fair as a barbie doll with golden freckles. She wowed him with her smile and entirely amazed him with her bright cheerful eyes. He studied her features. It looked like a long while to him. Before he knew it, he had slipped her his card.

She looked at it enquiringly and almost gave it back. He heard someone call her Daisy. He quickly said, "so daisy which movie up for grabs today!" Suddenly Sarah stopped looking at her phone walked over and helped select some movies. "Such a lovely girl you got there?" Daisy remarked

"Mmh no. she......" Before he could finish, Sarah put her arm into his and led him away. He felt angry and awkward like when his mum tugged at him when he was a teenager, especially whenever they went shopping.

Sarah kept on trembling in her seat. "You cold? "He asked. "No, why did we have to choose such a scary movie?"

"I thought you were the one who chose it!"

"Me!!"

"Yeah,. C'mon now don' play who!"

They ate popcorns and twice he looked down to find the wrapper empty. "You love these, don't you?"

He ordered for another and let her have it. He was amazed at her appetite. She kept on nudging the guy seated next to her, "what are you staring at!!"

"Don't be so mean, he meant no harm!" The guy suddenly got up shook his head and moved to a faraway seat. Its then Leon realized she had been spilling popcorns over to his seat

Leon excused himself. He went to the washrooms. He heard someone cry. He slowly walked to peer over. He saw a lady in a black dress, white shirt with blue collars and a chiffon hanging on her neck Leaning on the sink.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing," she suddenly stopped crying and looked away. He felt quite adamant to accept her simple answer and suddenly pulled her to him. "Daisy!!"

"Ooh, !!" She remarked.

He stared at her, and she looked back. She looked into his big blue eyes and saw a concern she could not apprehend.

"Why do you care anyway! She pulled away, pushed him and walked off wiping her face.

He stood there, cursing himself. " I should have said something nice!"

He decided to walk back "Sarah might be looking for me. Suddenly, he almost bumped into Sarah "or maybe she had been looking for me!"

"Let's go!" He said. "Yeah, that movie scared me to my core!!"Sarah smirked
