"Brianna, I have come up with a perfect plan on how to approach your brother"

"Brianna"

"Brianna!!!"

The sound of Gia's voice brought me out of my thought. I couldn't hear properly for at least two to three minutes.

"Gia do you want to damage my earbuds?"

"Do you know how long I have been calling you but you just ignored because you were so lost in your thoughts"

"Am sorry, so what were you saying?" I asked her but she frowned her face ignoring me.

"Okay fine am sorry I was just lost in thought in what I saw today"

"Which is?"

"I know you were going to ask because you my friend love gossip" I told her winking at her.

"Are you going to tell me or I should just go back to frowning my face and forgotten that you exist"

"Fine, earlier today I was at my usual spot reading my favorite book and listening to my favorite song"

"Brianna just go straight to the point I already know what you normally do at your usual spot"

"You are such a killer joy Gia, fine Dax dumped Becky right in front of me"

"What!!" I heard to cover her mouth in order not to call attention to us.

"Gia, voice down or no more stories for you" I told her with my hand still wrapped tightly around her mouth. She raised her hands in surrender indicating that she won't be shouting again.

"Am sorry Brianna but I felt like I didn't hear you right, did you say Dax dumped Becky, the mighty Becky, the queen Becky"

"Will you stop already, I hate it when you call her all those names there is nothing special about her she is just like every other student in this school"

"I know but I just can't believe she got dumped"

"But wait, why can't you believe that she got dumped you were the one that told me that Dax was know for his playboy lifestyle and all so why are you so surprised?"

"Because I never thought that if something was going on between Dax and Becky that he will ever dump her"

"Why did you say so?"

"Because Becky is the queen of the school no offense though but every guy will kill to date her"

"Why should any guy kill to date that spoilt brat, then something must be wrong with anyone who does that"

"Come on Brianna you understand what I meant. When I said Dax was a heart breaker I meant to girls that is not up to his standard who are throwing themselves at him, I never knew Becky was involved"

"Well that serves her right"

"I do pity her though" I gave Gia a not so friendly look.

"What? Why are you staring at me like that?"

"Why are you pitying my enemy?"

"Because it must have hurt to be dumped by a guy she likes so much"

"So, that's her cup of tea not ours"

"You won't understand until you experience it"

"Oh really miss Gia have you experienced it before?"

"No that's why I pity Becky, I can't imagine getting dumped by Eric" she said which caused me to roll my eyes.

"Okay enough about Dax and Becky what were you telling me before all of this not so valuable conversation started?"

"I was going to tell you that I figured a way to make Eric notice me"

"Which is?" I asked with zero interest.

"Can you be happy for me for ones?"

"Yeah look at me am so happy, Gia finally figured a way to get annoying Eric to notice her" I said in a very boring manner.

"Thank you" Gia said giving me a fake smile.

"So what is your plan?"

"I have decided to ask Eric to the prom"

"Am sorry what now?" I asked Gia, I don't think I heard her right.

"Yeah I want to ask him out, or is there anything wrong with that?"

"No, of course everything is wrong with it Gia, do you want to get hurt?" How can she consider asking Eric who had never spoken to her up to three times since we became friends out to a prom?

"Why will I get hurt? But wait don't tell you don't want me to have something serious to do with your brother?"

"Why will you even say that, if I know how to make my brother notice you I would have done that a long time ago but knowing that you might get hurt on the way of him noticing you is what am trying to avoid"

"But that's the only way, I really like your brother Brianna"

"I know, so where can I help?" I asked trying to erase the fact that this was a bad idea.

"Dress me up for the prom, make me look irresistible"

"Okay, one cute Princesses coming right up" I said as we both laughed it out before going the cafeteria to buy some lunch.

Gia's POV

I was so tensed standing in front of Eric's class with a box of chocolate. Will he accept me or reject me?. I was about turning around and heading back to meet Brianna but decided to do it.

I mean what do I have to lose, I walked in and saw him at his desk. He was busy with something on his laptop, he looks so breath taken. I walked up to his desk and stood waiting for him to notice I was there, it took a while before he noticed me standing right in front of him.

"Hi" I said smiling widely while waving at him.

"And you are?" He asked with so much confusion on his face. Brianna was right he didn't even recognize me.

"Oh wait pardon me, you are my sister's friend, what's that your name again?" He said which brought a smile to my already sad face.

"It's Gia, my name is Gia" I was so happy, he asked for my name. I have been to Brianna's house a couple of time but we have never gotten the right time for me to be introduced.

I always tell Brianna that am scared am not wearing the right clothes or that I don't look presentable but today he asked for my name, and he is even smiling at me.

"Nice to officially meet you Gia, my sister talks about you a lot"

"She does?" I asked and tucked my hair behind my ear, he is so perfect.

"Yeah, I think she is fond of you. So what brought you to my class, did anything happen to Brianna?"

"No nothing happened to her, she is perfectly fine, I just came to give you this" I said and gave him the box of chocolate.

"What's this? He asked when he took the box from me.

"Oh, it's a home made chocolate that my grandma made, she came to visit me yesterday so I thought I should save some for you and Brianna, this is yours" I replied him

"That's very thoughtful of you Gia, thanks" he said with a smile. This was the perfect time to ask him the question.

"So, can I ask you for something?"

"Sure I don't see why not" he said and ate one of the chocolate, at that minute I wished I will just put a love spell on the chocolate so he will see only me and no other woman.

"Eric!!" I heard someone calling him behind me, that also distracted Eric before he could listen to what I have to say.

It was a girl about Becky's age she is very beautiful, she walked up to Eric and hugged him. I was surprised with her actions, the way she smiled at him and Eric didn't push her off which means they probably know each other.

"Oh, sorry I didn't even see you there" she said to me when she turned. Did she just say she didn't see me there, what a joke.

"Babe this is Gia, she is like a sister to me" Eric said, I felt like I was slapped across the face, a sister, really? I wanted to cry, scream but I had to hold my cool.

"Hi, am Gia" I said giving the girl my hand for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you Gia, am Mary" she said smiling but her smiles didn't reach her eyes, if you ask me I will say they are fake.

"So Gia you wanted to tell me something"

"No it was nothing, I better get going before Brianna starts looking for me"

"Okay, thanks for the chocolate" Eric said I smiled at him and hurriedly left.

I can't believe he said that, am just like a sister to him, I just couldn't get those words off my head.
