Chapter 9 (Part 4)

Vermont, Circe, Bardock, Raditz, and Strix

Vermont, Circe, Bardock, Raditz, and Strix appeared in Universe 7, where they found Gohan at Capsule Corporation.

"Vermont?" Gohan questioned. He had sensed his attendant enter the universe but wasn't entirely sure why.

"Greetings. The Grand Priest has issued an order: all combat gods are being summoned," he revealed, surprising everyone present.

"Right now?" Gohan asked.

"In two hours, which at the moment would be an hour from now," he explained. Gohan took note of everyone present, not recognizing the witch.

"Who is she?" Gohan asked.

"This is a new servant I found who is willing to assist us," the Angel answered before inspecting Gohan.

"Pardon me, my lord, your movements seem..."

Gohan grinned a little before nodding. "I did manage to unlock Ultra Instinct. Now I just need to get better at using it."

Vermont smiled. "No matter. Once all is done at the Omni-King's palace, I shall assist you." Vermont could tell a significant increase in power had occurred during his stay in the 7th universe.

"Thankfully, I have the Kai-Kai, so being late isn't a possibility," Gohan mused. To be fair, he wanted to return to DC to invite his closest friend to his wedding. Turning to the group, he said, "I will be returning to our universe. Should anyone want to return, please let me know."

Everyone nodded in agreement.

Goku and Karen Return

In ten minutes, Goku and Karen returned to Capsule Corporation. Krillin was chatting with Yamcha when the pair arrived. Karen immediately approached Gohan.

"I will return with you. I think Kara needs a chance to learn how to manipulate her ki," she explained, she had heard the conversation while she was training with Goku.

Soon, they all left for the Palace of the Omni-King: Bardock, Raditz, Circe, Strix, Gohan, Diana, Vermont, Makaiya, Vegeta, Goku, and Karen.

Arrival at the Omni-King's Palace

Once they arrived instantly via Kai-Kai, a wave of incredible force hit their senses. Circe had a calm expression but was slightly nervous. 'I just have to keep meeting more gods,' she mused sarcastically.

Bardock and Raditz were too stunned to do anything. All around them, pure power seemed to radiate in every direction. Strix had a blank expression on her face. The ki she could feel dwarfed anything she had ever felt before; it was such a large gathering of powerful beings.

Goku, Vegeta, and Karen just stared forward. "Do you feel that, Kakarot?" Vegeta asked as he turned to his friend. Goku just smirked and looked forward.

"I feel that, and it's incredible," Goku remarked.

Karen stared at the two before reaching out with her ki sense, feeling intense waves of ki radiating from the palace before them. She could tell that even one of those ki signatures was beyond her.

"Alright, everyone, let us enter," Vermont said, starting to move forward with Gohan next to him. They entered the palace as more and more overwhelming powers arrived.

Inside the Palace

Inside, they headed to a chamber resembling a general assembly. Each section of the hall had a number. Quickly finding the 21st section, the group made their way over. Goku and Vegeta immediately found Beerus and went over to his side.

The group looked around the hall and noticed all sorts of gods dressed exactly like Beerus and Gohan. They all had an intimidating appearance. The members of Gohan's Multiverse were all in one section, while different sections had different groups of Destroyer gods.

"Lord Gohan, you seem to have grown by quite a significant margin since our last encounter," a Destroyer suddenly approached him. Gohan recognized him as one of the Destroyers who had taken a liking to him during his ceremony.

Another Destroyer entered the conversation. It was the bipedal panther from before. He inspected Gohan closely. "You seem fairly relaxed. Unlike before, your hair isn't red, but it feels as though you have greatly surpassed your earlier limitations, although I cannot ascertain by how much," he explained, eyeing Gohan up and down.

"From what I can feel, he will certainly be a great ally in a few million years," the humanoid boy with purple skin spoke, entering the conversation.

Gohan just smiled. "Thank you for your words." He expressed gratitude, but Gohan had forgotten to at least power up to Super Saiyan God. Doing it now might catch the attention of more Destroyer gods, and he didn't want to be the center of attention.

Attention on Gohan

The rest of the Destroyers of the DC Multiverse seemed to take notice of him. An air of pride surrounded the gods; every single one of them felt the outrageous increase in power. It didn't even seem realistic.

"The second verse seems to be in high spirits," another Destroyer god pointed out. She had long red hair with orange skin. She had six arms, and her eyes were red.

"We have something to look forward to, Harbrara," the bipedal destroyer explained. "The rankings will be shaken up soon."

Harbrara just scoffed before smirking. Looking at Gohan, her eyes gazed into the young destroyer who noticed her. Gohan continued to remain quiet. He had no intention of including himself in the topic. 'In comparison to their power, I am still weaker, but unlike before, the gap isn't so large anymore,' Gohan mused silently. He could explode his power exponentially now. No longer was he trapped by only one godly transformation, but arrogance brings only downfall, no matter how successful it proves against weaker opponents.

"I too agree with Pantaros," the humanoid boy with purple skin said. Before any more gods could join the conversation, the Grand Priest suddenly appeared. In perfect synchronization, all the gathered gods and angels bowed.

"Greetings to the Grand Minister," the call sounded out. The mortals from DC were just stunned; the gods had basically completely ignored them.

"Greetings, deities from across creation. I am grateful for you all heading my call. I will now formally begin the Celestial Summit. The main agenda for this gathering is to discuss the greatest threat to reality since the dawn of creation," the Grand Priest explained, gaining a solemn silence in the palace.

"Because of the dire situation, I am employing 97 Destroyer gods to partake in the subjugation of the evil Angel Merno. Along with the combined might of nearly a hundred Destroyer gods, I have commanded other aspects of creation to assist with the attack. The agent of the King shall accompany you all just to secure any doubts I am feeling, however, my son is very cunning and has control over every aspect of reality. When outside of the scope of creation, no one other than myself can wield reality better than my son," the Grand Priest explained.

"Many of you may not survive the encounter. However, should the King find out, all of you will most likely be erased," the Grand Priest explained. Many of the gods were immediately stunned at the extreme amount of force being sent out, but Merno was definitely a threat capable of mobilizing this many gods at once.
