Day 1,
He was now in the middle of the forest, he was observing every spot that might have an enemy on it, he looked dead serious as he was looking around.
However, inside he was scared as fuck, despite being extremely strong, he still fears demons not because they could harm him or anything, but their scary appearance, when he first saw a demon in Echidna's lab, he almost pissed himself seeing that one ugly ass demon.
So he assumed the rest of the demons looked like that, if one would pay attention to his body, you could see a slight trembling. It was hard for him not to be scared, he wasn't the kind of person that likes horror in the first place.
He hated it with all his heart, and now he could experience that same horror genre with a first-person view.
If it wasn't for the fact that there is moonlight, he would have panicked and cut everything that stands his way.
Demons and Grimms are different, he could handle Grimm but not demons, they are far more terrifying in his books.
While cautiously walking around, suddenly the bush in front of him moved, his body became tense, and he held the handle of his katana ready to unsheathe it anytime.
Then a bunny came out of the bush, and he let his body relax and sign out of relief, "Oh! It's just a bunny! Hahaha, I was scared for nothing!"
While laughing, he suddenly felt a water drop from his head, "Hm? Did it start to rain?"
Jaune looked above him and saw a Momo like demon except for the fact that it's scarier than the former, his body went cold a moment later, he screamed with a voice that even the girliest girl would be jealous, "KYAAAAAAAAHHHHHH~!"

I looked behind me as I heard the girliest scream that I ever heard in my entire life. Without hesitation, I rushed in that direction because that person might need my help!
However, before I could arrive there I was greeted by a horde of demons! From their numbers alone they could be a few dozen.
"Where did these demons come from? Did Archer's luck finally infect me?!" It was ridiculous I swear they weren't there before, despite their sheer number I didn't stop moving forward it's nothing to me.
I unsheathe my katana, while this wasn't a Nichirin blade, this was enough for me to kill them.
For 1 second, I beheaded 10 demons at the same time and this was the first time I killed a demon.
However, despite that I didn't stop killing the rest of the demons, they weren't as fast as me, so before they could register what happened, it was already too late as I beheaded them the moment they realized.
I specifically made it a swift death, not because I pity them but because it's an easier and faster way to kill them.
Exactly 5 seconds later, everything was done, I'd killed off the demons that were blocking my way.
After that I couldn't stop smiling, "This does put a smile on my face."
Who the heck wouldn't smile at this?! This was literally the dreams of thousands of weebs and otaku's back in his world, to learn total breathing concentration technique and slay demons?
It was a dream come to me!
"While it's fun. I have an ass to save!" I continued to run toward my destination, however once again, dozens of demons blocked my way!
"Wha- what the fuck! Now I believe that I have been infected by EMIYA's E rank luck! There is no way this is possible to get blocked by dozens of demons twice!" There is no denying it anymore, damn I blame Archer for this.

He couldn't remember what happened after he got jump-scared by a scarier version of Momo, the moment he regained his awareness the trees around him were cut in half!
"D-did I do this?"
The answer was already obvious, this wasn't him asking a question, he was answering it.
Still, he had gotten a minor trauma from that encounter with that momo-like demon, it was creepy.
Hopefully, he wouldn't meet another one of those scary demons, he hopes that he meets a more human-like demon so that he wouldn't be too scared to face them.
After getting away from his original spot, his wish was granted, the demon he encountered is more human-like than the first demon he encountered, knowing this he sighs in relief.
Jaune approached the demon closer, he was only a few meters away from the demon spot, and as he got the full view of the demon's appearance.
He just stood there in surprise. It was a female demon, appearing to have sickly, yellowish skin, two dark red stripes across her cheeks, and a pair of white horns protruding from either side of her forehead. Her eyes were gray with white rings around the sides and dark red sclera with "Four" carved over her left iris, framed by a set of notably long eyelashes. She also possessed chin-length white hair with shorter bangs between her horns.
The female demon also wore a plain red kimono with a black-and-white fur-lined collar tied up at the back with a large, dark purple bow.
If Blake was here to see this, he would have shouted, 'Why is a lower moon demon here in the final selection?! This was supposed to be a newbie's exam!'
But as for Jaune, he wasn't aware of the significance of a demon that has numbers on its pupils.
The female demon noticed his presence, and said, "Oh? You're approaching me?"
Jaune was stunned, he never knew demons could talk!
"Umm..well yeah I guess?" He said wryly.
"Hm? You're not scared of me?" The female demon became interested in Jaune, normally demon slayers that weren't Hashira would run at the sight of a lower moon demon such as herself.
"I don't? I mean at least you don't look scary like the demon that I encountered before." Jaune said honestly, this female looks far more pleasing than the last one.
"Me? I don't look scary? Pfft-" The female demon couldn't believe what she just heard from the demon slayer in front of her, this was a new experience to her.
She never thought that one day, she would be able to talk with a demon slayer properly, without them trying to kill her.
"You, you're interesting. Originally I wanted to finish you off but I changed my mind. Do you want to be a demon? I can turn you into one, there are many benefits of becoming one." The female demon said with an amused smile.
"Uhmm…what are the benefits exactly?" Jaune asked, even though he knew some details it never hurts to know more, especially from a demon.
"While turning into a demon makes you immortal and that itself is already worth it." The demon said while smiling.
"Oh..that's it?" Jaune was honestly a little disappointed if they were talking about immortality. Echidna could make them one, after all, she's already making some samples.
The female demon was stunned, "What do you mean that's it?! It's immortality! You can leave forever!"
"Then what? Eat humans?" Jaune was disgusted by the idea of eating humans.
"That's a small price to pay for living forever don't you get it?" She couldn't understand this human at all.
"Nope, no thank you if that's the drawback. I'd rather wait for Echidna to finish her research at least, she could make someone immortal without drawbacks, like being killed by the sun or sustaining by eating humans." Jaune casually said a piece of vital information without holding back, he was talking about it like that wasn't a big deal.
The demon was too stunned to speak, however little did she know. Muzan was listening to their conversation, all of sudden her body tensed as she heard her lord through telepathy.
(Mukago, capture that human and bring him to me! Do not fail or you die.)
The female demon Makugo was terrified, and she quickly answered Muzan. "Yes! I'll do it without fail, my Lord!"
Jaune was confused by Mukago's sudden change of expression, "Are you alright?"
Suddenly Makugo growled at him, "The situation changed, don't resist after I catch you if you do, then I won't guarantee your safety!"
As Makugo was about to reach him, all of sudden she felt the pain coming from her arms and realized they were cut off from her body.
"Wha-?!" Makugo then realized a katana was a millimeter close to her neck.
"Hey, aren't you a bit rude? Tackling me all of sudden!" Jaune frowned at her.
Makugo finally realized how screwed she was, she was stuck between a rock, if she failed this task she would die, if she tried to fight this demon slayer in front of her she would die.
For the first time after she became a demon, she prayed. 'God I'm above, help me!'
