Enter the Nest [Part: IV]

The natural ability to sense incoming danger has been a part of every living creature since the dawn of time, it is a feeling of impending doom, and no return.

I for one was lucky enough to be from a race that was quite sensitive to the environment around me, I might even say my danger sense was in the realm of being regarded as a sixth sense.

For that very reason, I became vividly aware of the fast-acting projectile that was heading my way from the right, of me, by pure instinct I jumped up to avoid the attack that would have been a possible fatality on my end.

Moments after, a giant ice spear pierce the very ground I once stood upon, creating a large crater below me, in normal circumstances, I would have survived this attack seeing that I dodge it in time, however simply dodging it would not be enough to save me in this case.

Because upon looking at the weapon, the giant ice spear that was five meters in length began to vibrate, as it float from the ground, and instantly rotate in my direction, and with great speed, it attempted to skewer me mid-air, as it came flying in my direction, however, this body was well trained and properly reinforce with these weird ruins carve deeply into the marrow of its bone.

Instinctively I felt like I could tank this attack, but I do not want to risk it and die, I still don't know how strong my adaption is, and I truly don't want to die, not until I had my first batch of children, my fear of death will not wither away till I have at least leave behind a hier in my stead.

So with that in mind, I began to grow several pairs of spinal tendrils from my back, of course, these tendrils also had the weird ruin carved deeply into their arrows, as they came from my tail bones, each of them was flexible, durable, and lethal.

Each was about seven meters in length, from a normal person's perspective I would look like a spider monster, or maybe a humanoid creature with fourteen long bone-like tails, however, I have concluded that this is the best form suited for battle at the moment.

And so with even greater speed, one of my spinal tendrils whips at the incoming spear from every direction, shattering it into millions of pieces, meanwhile, I safely float in the air, as I began to mutate this body further making it more proficient in battle, the best part of being an Omnimorphius was the fact that we can manipulate our body however we see fit, and ass various mutations on top of already existing mutations or alterations.

This body consists of muscle, bones, skin, blood, fat, and tissue, as a result, I can manipulate all these things using my natural body manipulation, in laymen's terms my entire body is a deadly weapon, however, I am more like a hybrid of grotesques, a chimera would be a better word to describe my existence to lesser beings.

However, before I can land on the ground, my danger senses kick in once more, this time, it came from directly above me instead of in front, and that's when I saw a giant glacier, was trying to skewer me from above, as it came towards me with great speed, of course, before it even reaches halfway near my vicinity, it exploded into chunks just like the spear, as I use my tendrils to destroy it.

Right after, I sigh in relief, however, I couldn't make this sabotage go unpunished, as I was already aware of the culprit that did this.

So I look in the direction where the culprit was hiding, and I increase my blood lust and focus all my rage and murderous intent on that one specific area, of course, this was to invoke fear in the enemy.

Right after I began to speak.

"I will admit, it was a good idea to take me by surprise to eliminate me, I would have done the same if I was in your situation, it shows your prowess as a proficient hunter who doesn't move foolishly, a smart move indeed but alas it is hopeless to hide when you are before me, so with that said, you can stop hiding, I can hear your heartbeat from a mile away, I can tell your cautious, and also afraid, badump~~ badump~~ badump, it's beating so fast, with this undeniable fact, I can tell your nervous just from that as well, show yourself and let's get this over with."

I said to the figure hiding in the shadow of the cave, moments after I heard the masculine voice of someone or something coming from the shadows, as a giant figure suddenly appear before me, walking so steadily yet the beast's sheer size shake the very ground below.

"&$% #*&¥€£ £€¥#&@%"

"I honestly can't understand what you are saying, however, you seem rather intelligent despite your monstrous appearance."

And as if the beast understands me, it made an annoyed face, as it tries to maintain its calm, so it reaches within its large sack that was the size of my original form, and pull out a giant necklace that was made from the skull of an unknown creature, and inside the mouth of that skull was a yellow gem.

The giant monster then place the mysterious necklace around its neck and began to speak, this time around, I could clearly understand what it was saying.

"High one, I kindly ask of you to leave this place, you are on her Majesty Frostbite territory."

Announce the hairy beast with clear worry and concerns plastered all over his ugly face, meanwhile, I just look at the beast before me with slight fascination, it was a giant two-leg monster, and the height of this monstrosity was an astounding 25 meters, it looks as if it weighed over several tones, and its entire body was covered in thick white fur that was milky white, while its skin was a dusty grey, although the face of the monster was rather unpleasing to the eyes.

Seeing that the monster's face was horrendously squinched, floppy, and wrinkled in several places, meanwhile, it had four bright blue eyes and a giant belly that could absorb a good amount of impact, in its hand was a giant spear made from ice, that was almost as tall as him, while behind the monster where seven more floating spears, albeit smaller all of them where aimed directly at me.

Around its body was a large leather sack, that most likely contain useful equipment, similar to that mysterious translation device around his neck.

However, despite its large size, I can sense its worries as clear as day, so much so, I cannot perceive nor could I see any opening, this monster, well this Abominable had its guard up, even now I can see it didn't want to fight me, that alone gives me the confidence that I am more superior to this creature, however, I was reluctant to move for the sheer reason, that I find it fascinating that these monsters are capable of conversing, this proves that the stronger they are, the more intelligent they become.

But I didn't have time to focus on that matter seeing that the big guy began to assume a fighting position, as he brandishes his spear towards me ready to attack me at any given moment, and said with a scowl on his face.

"Should I take your silence as your unwillingness to cooperate, you are on the territory of one of the Twenty Calamity of this world, take my advice and back off."

At these words, I tilted my head as I gave him an unimpressed look as I said.

"Not to be the bringer of bad news, but you are aware that you stand no chance against me right?"

"That may be so high one, but you are just one enemy in the end, we outnumber you by the millions, I'm not even a name child, but I am confident I can slow you down if I use all my cards, and even if you kill me, you still need to kill the Queen nine Elite guards, all of which scale higher than even the likes of you high one, and her majesty herself is even capable of freezing an entire mountain with her immense power, so tell me, what do you gain from fighting a hopeless battle, take my advice and leave, trust me you don't want this fight."

The giant Abdominal warns me, however, to his surprise the response I gave him was as such.

"So the Kyjuchillia power only amounts to a mere mountain level, hmmm... That seems manageable, I was seriously expecting to fight a being that can easily total a large content in its entirety with little to no effort, as a result, I was willing to use a portion of my save and store energy and completely one-shot everybody with a giant fireball that is as hot as the surface of the sun, but either way thank you for the information, as a token of my appreciation I shall award you with a painless end."

This response of course infuriated the nameless Abominable as he began to charge at me while shouting like a manic or triggered child.

"YOOOOU MORON, TSK VERY WELL THEN IF YOU WANT TO DIE SO BAD THEN BY ALL MEANS, JUST SO YOU KNOW OUR QUEEN IS WATCHING, AND SINCE YOU DECLARE WAR, THEN WAR IS WHAT YOU SHALL RECEI...

"Ha...

"Wh-what happen, to me, why can't I feel my body from the neck down?"

Question the nameless one who suddenly fell to the ground completely paralyzed, as he couldn't feel anything from the neck down, however, he was taken aback immediately when I walk up to him and whispered in ears.

"You poor thing, you lack the proper level of IQ to even grasp my true power much less comprehend the unfairness of my existence, you know if you think about it there are a lot of ways to kill a person without coming in direct contact with said individual, then and again, I don't expect you to understand just how convenient telekinesis is, for an instant you didn't even see when I shatter your spine like a fragile piece of glass did you?"

"___"

"Oh, surprised now are we, sigh, I was going to give you a painless death, but you seem too cocky for my liking, you say you can stop me, you say can slow me down, honestly you're a fool for thinking such things, don't talk if you don't have the power to back it up, don't move irrationally if you don't know what the enemy is capable of, well it doesn't matter anyway, now you can die and become my next meal as your genetic code will be gladly received and appreciated, no doubts about that."

"Y-you... monster."

But I didn't pay any mind to the nameless life form before me, instead, I use Minerva's power, to create an intangible, force field barrier and shape it into an invisible hand, as I slowly reach for his chest, and aim for his beating heart, and it began to squish his heart, and moments later he died, and the best part was that the body and brain were perfectly intact.
