Ray noticed someone casing out the pharmacy from the moment it started happening. His instincts and skills had stayed sharp over the years so he would have to be a complete idiot not to.

His first thought was that someone from the Agency had found him but after no one approached him for several days he figured he must be mistaken. Who was it then? And what did they want?

He got his answer not long after. Claire Conway, one of his techs, called in sick and the person canvassing the building didn't show up. That couldn't be a coincidence.

Ray had known Claire for the better part of two years. She was a nice girl. Friendly enough but definitely an introvert. He wasn't sure what sort of trouble she could have gotten herself into since she seemed completely normal.

A stalker, maybe? That was an unfortunately common occurrence for women.
