"Can't you witches do anything without blood oaths?" I muttered.

Trent elbowed me in the side and rolled his eyes. I huffed and turned my attention to Isach. If not for all these stupid blood oaths, none of us would be in this situation right now, and Piper would still be here with me, where she belonged.

"This blood oath will only be temporary," Isach said, giving Heaven Leigh a promising smile. "I'll release everyone from it when I concede leadership to someone else."
