" I am honored to meet you Your Highness " Elina said to the woman in front of her

" Oh don't do that. Call me Camille dear. " The older woman smiled with tears still glistening in her bright red eyes.

It has just been an hour when she came here with Theodore's friend, Crescenzo Fazio.

Elina smiled at them beside her stood Crystal and Lukas was standing beside his mother. Cassius and Emma were sitting on a newly brought loveseat. While Theodore and Crescenzo were talking in whisper about the things back at demon kingdom.

" Well I am glad to meet you all " Camille said she was holding her son's hand. It took her three days to come here even when she tried to come at fastest but every minute that was delayed was torture to her. She looked at everyone around with a smile and felt peace after a long time.

" Okay that is enough crying " Crescenzo said

" Let's talk about something good. Shall we? " He had his signature smirk

" Good like what? " Crystal laughed

" Right My beautiful lady how about a little party " Crescenzo winked at her

Everyone laughed at his antics while Theodore hooked his neck with his hand and said " Well everyone this is the most prominent Casanova back in the Palace. Ladies should not believe a word he says "

" Oh my God Theo you hurt me " He gasped and placed a hand on his heart and said " I merely appreciate the beauty. There is nothing wrong with that "

Theodore looked at him speechlessly, yeah right he thought.

" Well I do want to celebrate but right now we can't do that in the Palace so we can do a little part here can we " Camille asked

" That would be great " Elina said

" But Ethan is not here " Lukas said. He was very happy to meet his family and up for this celebration but without a friend it would look like something is missing

" We will Skype him. Dad called him back for the yearly meeting it is impossible for him to come now. " Emma said " Let's just enjoy ourselves "

" Is that okay with you? " Camille asked her younger son she was still a bit nervous around him not knowing how to act beside him

Lukas looked at the woman in front of him and saw the love and concern so he smiled slightly

" Yes mom it's fine. " He glanced at people who surrounded him and suddenly felt that the best decision of his life was to leave that pack.

" Great then how about a campfire " Crystal excitedly clapped her hands and asked

" That would be great. We have brought some good meat and wine before. We can do a barbecue. " Cassius said with a cocky smirk

And when everyone agreed they went on their way Camille asked Elina to talk with her. They went to Elina's office and took a seat.

" Would you like some coffee or tea? " Elina asked

" A tea would do " Camille glanced at her she was no more a soft mother but showed a regal and elegant look.

Elina camly took the prepared materials and gave her a cup while took coffee for herself

" You helped my son and I am grateful for that and I know that you will fight for the throne soon so I would like to offer my assistance to you " Camille said while taking a sip of her tea

" When I helped him I saw him as a friend, I am honored to get your assistance but " Elina stopped speaking she was looking down now she looked in her eyes and her voice which was peaceful till now changed and she spoke with confidence " That throne is mine and I can get with my own means. "

Camille laughed " Good very good. All right I won't interfere " Her smile became more amiable than before and she kept looking at Elina

" Is there something on my face? " Elina asked confused

" Oh no just wanted to ask a question? " She spoke hesitantly

" What is it? "

" I feel like Lukas is hiding something from me. Is that true Elina? " Camille asked with concern

Elina was taken back, she knew that Lukas has not mentioned his mate except for her and Crystal no one knows so she was in a fix.

Seeing her not speaking Camille was more sure of her conjecture and her heart was shaking

" I am not in the position to tell you that but believe me it was all in the past he is better and put that all behind him " Elina said earnestly

Camille gazed at her and then sighed " Well I guess I am being greedy before I only hoped my son is alive now I am worried about other things. I won't ask and I hope you will not tell him about this either. "

" I won't mention a word. I promise " Elina said

" Thank you my child. Thank you for everything "

Camille said and took her leave while she smiled deeply ' She is so much like you Arora ' she thought

It was midnight and the party was still going on. For the wolves on the mountain it was first time they have seen it so nobody wanted to be left out. In the huge ground many were drunk and dancing on the music booming.

Lukas was sitting beside his mother with a paper cup filled with wine, he took a sip and said " This is really huge. Are you enjoying it? "

" Of course I am It has been years since I saw so many people. " Camille said and took a sip of her red wine " How about a dance with your mother?"

" Of course mom " Lukas got up and bowed like a gentleman offering his hand

" Welcome I thought you would never move " Cassius said while dancing with Emma. Both of them looked a bit tipsy

Lukas grinned at him, on the other side Crystal and Crescenzo was dancing with in a short while they became good friends both of were completely hammered. While Theodore was dancing with a brunette. Only Elina stood at one side drinking quietly.

" Your Highness do you not like the party? " Marcus asked

" I do but just missing some...thing " Elina cursed at herself she almost blurted her secret

" Something is missing, what is it should I get it for you. " Marcus asked he did not notice her strangeness

" Oh no don't bother. Go and dance with Tamara she worked a lot for this party, get her to relax a bit " Elina said waving her hand at him

Marcus was going to say something when a kid came bouncing and asked Elina to dance with him and Elina saw a opening so she ran away, afraid that Marcus would have doubts.

The party went on and only after almost everyone was passed out did it end everyone but Elina and Camille

" Get some rest Camille I will oversee the clean up here " Elina said

" Alright I am tired so I am going to catch up on some sleep " Camille said and went away

Elina looked around when she saw that everyone was almost done she asked them to get some sleep and went to her office.

She sat on her chair and looked out of the window it was still dark and the stars could be seen there was no moon in the sky. It was like while world stilled and Elina was lost in her thoughts for a long while when Lizzy spoke

' You are missing him right '

' Me and you both ' Elina said rubbing her bracelet

' It will be over soon. You have seen reports the corruption in court is getting worse everyday, many alphas are dissatisfied, rouges are more rampant than before we just need a break through as long as we have enough support it is just a matter of time. ' Lizzy said

' I know but it gets tough everyday I can feel his restlessness and it makes me anxious '

When she said Lizzy went quiet then slowly said

' Get some rest you need it '

Elina was going to respond when her eyes went to a mail in her laptop and all of a sudden she sat up straight staring fixedly at it and then slowly a smile came on her face
