Chapter 18

Lukas was pacing in his room he knew he should go down and act like nothing happened. But he can't, since morning he avoided that one person he just do not want to see him. It has been an entire day and he cooped up in his room. It was not that he has any complains but did not how to face him.

' Just go down okay. I want to see our brother. ' Max voice rang out in his mind

' I am scared. ' He whispered shakily

' You don't need to. Hiding like this will only hurt yourself and him. ' Max retorted

Lukas did not speak but sat down on his bed he stared blankly towards the door. He finally made a decision but before he acted he heard a knock and by the smell he knew who it was.

" Luke are you there? " Crystal asked

" Yeah come in Crys. " Lukas replied

Crystal came in and gave him a pointed look and asked " I think I have given you enough time. Mind telling me what's wrong with you "

" That obvious " He laughed a little

She sat beside him and looked sideways at him

" You did not said a word while we were training then you did not eat your favorite crumpets and after that you made a beeline for your room. You did not come down for lunch. So I came to look for you and mind you I choose you over lunch. So you better tell me what's bothering you "

" Choose me over lunch, wow I really feel lucky. " he snickered

" Yes tell me and then we will go eat. " Crystal said while smiling

" Did you ask Eli? "

" I knew it. She did not said a word. Come on she knows and I don't, tell me. You can't keep me out of the loop. And if you don't tell me I am going to fight that new guy. " Crystal glared at him

" New guy why would you beat him. He did not do anything " Lukas said hurriedly

Crystal raised an eyebrow and said " Is that so? "

Lukas knew that she has guessed something and won't leave unless he tells her everything so he accepted his fate.

On the other side Theodore came to see Elina in her office.

" Why the fuck is he ignoring me? " He asked angrily

" Ask him " Elina replied while typing on a laptop

She was busy adjusting newly bought goods.

" I mean there has to be a reason right. Does he doubt me or does he not like me? " He asked while pacing in her room

" Whether he doubts you or not you should tell him everything " Elina said she pushed her work aside placed both of her hands on the table and said seriously

" But I told you all the problems and I am not sure how he would react I want to get to know him and then tell him. " He said while rubbing his hands on his face

" That is alright, he can keep a secret. But he deserves to know so go talk. Other than that it will be good for you too. " Elina leaned back on her chair and crossed her arms on her chest

" Good for me how? "

" I have heard that Demon Queen Camille Malcom, your mother is a hot tempered person. I wonder what she would do if she knew that you found Lukas and did not bother telling her. " Elina said with a smirk on her face

Theodore's face paled. He knew his mother better than anyone. She may have locked herself up but nothing is hidden from her by now she would already know that he is not in their kingdom and if she heard about Lukas from anyone else then the consequences....

" No " He almost shouted and saw that Elina was looking at him in amusement " You are right. I will go tell my mother and then him. " He ran away right after saying this

" Finally I can work in peace " Elina sighed looked at the quarterly reports of her company.

"What did you say? " A woman's came out of the phone. That voice was shaking

" I found him Mom I forget to tell you before " Lukas replied

" Where are you? " This time her voice was stable but he could tell his mother was angry at him

" Northern Mountains in Werewolf kingdom. I don't think it is a good idea for you to..... " Before he could complete his sentence he heard a stern voice

" Don't tell me what to do son. I will be there soon. " With that the phone went silent

He smiled well here comes the trouble.

" Hey " Theodore heard a voice so he look up to see Lukas standing in front of him

" Do you want to see around? " Lukas asked while rubbing the back of his neck he came here because Crystal forced him

" Yeah...yes I mean why not " Theodore hurriedly spoke " Actually I want to talk to you too. " he said hesitantly

" That is good. Come with me. " Lukas said

After the two of them left the two girls hiding behind a door came out.

" This was really troublesome " Crystal said

" Well at least it is sorted now. " Elina said and walked back towards her office

" Eli I am worried " Crystal said. It was one of those rare times when she is serious which surprised Elina

" Worried? about what " Elina asked

" About the trouble of hybrids. What if those people knew that Lukas is alive and then you. You are also a hybrid what if this risks the life of both of you. " Crystal asked there was a urgency in her voice

" Then we can only get stronger and make sure nothing happens. " Elina smiled

" You are smiling, actually smiling do you not feel any crises. We are not even done with your brother now these people are coming too. And above all we do not even know who they are we are in open while they are dark. Suddenly I feel we have too many enemies. " Crystal said angrily

" Crys relax. We are hiding here for a reason let's bid our time. As for the enemies let them come we can deal with it. "

Crystal looked at Elina she saw how confident she looked. She relaxed right it will be ok.

" Alright Your Highness as you say " Crystal gave her a mock salute which made both of them laugh

" So who is telling us what's going on " Emma asked with both of her hands in her waist. Behind her stood Cassius and Ethan

Crystal and Elina looked at each other and knew that here comes another round of headache.

" ....So that's how I came here " Theodore said

" I see but how did you get injured " Lukas asked confused because he knew that not many could injure him and those injuries were real and not made by magic

" Ahh that...well I asked my best friend to hit me. Bastard had a time of his life " Theodore said while rubbing his shoulder he thought that he really knew to hit the place where it hurts.

Lukas laughed at his embarrassed expression he could imagine him trying hard to not beat other person after getting beaten up.

" Let's go back. " Theodore said while getting up from the field. He really does not want to talk about this as for a certain Bastard he would settle the score when he goes back.

" Oh right I forgot to tell you our mother is coming here. " Theodore suddenly said

" What? Did you not say that she refuse to leave her room. " Lukas asked perplexed

" She could not wait to meet you " Theodore smiled " Don't worry she is just going to shower you with lots of love "

" I know thanks brother " Lukas said but he felt a bit guilty. When he mentioned his past he told Theodore everything but him. He knows that his brother his hot tempered if he knew he will definitely go back to look for him in rage. His mate has rejected him but he could bear to see him getting hurt that too in his brother's hands.

' I just need to make sure Crys and Eli did not say a word about that. ' he thought
