Short Chapter

Despite arming Nezuko with Saint Celestine, he couldn't help but worry.

There were many reasons to enroll Nezuko at Xavier's school, but the fact remains that he isn't a trustworthy person in the slightest.

'Perhaps I should've tried to entice him to take a peek in my head...' Zeta thought to himself. A mentally retarded Xavier would be far safer than a manipulative ESPer. 'Well, there's no reason to worry about it now. Celestine hasn't adjusted to modern society, so she'll kill Xavier the second he tries anything.' He assured himself.

Of course, the fact that Celestine would be tailing Nezuko all the time meant that he wouldn't have an opportunity to deepen her loyalty or get in her pants any time soon, but it was a grand sacrifice he had to make.

Nevertheless, after Nezuko had eaten her breakfast, she got dressed in the school uniform and transformed from the #1 cutest thing to ever exist to the #1 cutest thing to ever exist in any universe ever.

"You ready for your first day of school?" He asked Nezuko. She shook her head while crossing her arms.

"I'm asking if you have everything. Nobody is ever mentally prepared for school." He clarified. Nezuko sighed and nodded.

"Ok, give Felicia a hug and we'll go." Zeta spoke. Nezuko ran back to Felicia and gave her a massive hug as a last attempt to garner pity and avoid school. Unfortunately, she simply returned the hug before breaking it and sending her back to her dad.

'Traitor!' Nezuko thought to herself while hopelessly following behind Zeta.

Only five minutes later, Zeta, Celestine and Nezuko were cruising in the sky through the use of the spaceship. It may be a waste of technology to use it as a method of transport on such a low scale, but Xavier's school was a good distance away, and Zeta couldn't be bothered driving the whole way.

Thankfully, one of the soldiers he had taken from Mars happily took up the position of pilot. Therefore, Zeta was able to distract Nezuko from the fact that she would be going through the most soul-draining 6 hours of her life in only a couple dozen minutes.

Soon, Nezuko was forced to escape the comfortable confines of Zeta's arms and leave the ship. Of course, Zeta accompanied her to her classroom, but Nezuko was completely aware that she would be separated from Zeta for a while. As such, she was princess carried through the halls of Xavier's school as per her request.

As it wasn't very socially acceptable to be carried into a classroom by your parent, Zeta set Nezuko down outside of the classroom.

"Listen Nezuko, I know you're going to hate it here. However, as useless as school is, and as boring as it is, you can't just go through the next half a decade doing nothing." Zeta spoke. "Plus, it'll look good on your resume if you decide you want to be a normal person."

There was truth to his words. Everybody looks back on school as the worst waste of time they've ever endured. Unfortunately, society isn't ready for it to be changed just yet. Above everything, Nezuko needed to be able to go day by day without depending on Zeta's presence.

(A.N. Suffering supreme author's block as of writing this. I just want to get a short chapter out at the moment and gradually ramp up the number of words I do per day.)
