WAKE YOUR DREAMS

It's moving, can't you feel it?

*.·:·.✧.·:·.*

Winter came and went like a breeze; the spring has arrived once again.

Sakura Nakamura was walking towards the clothing section of the super-mart. (P/N: Sakura Nakamura was one of Zehan's childhood friends. Refer to the early chapters.)

Sakura was a travel blogger. She was currently quite famous on social media.

Her family was quite supportive of her choice. She travels to different cities of the world on her own.

It had been five years since she returned back to Japan. She would be travelling to Kyoto the next day.

As she was walking through the clothing aisles, she saw a pair a few steps away from her bickering over selecting dresses.

Sakura could recognize them very well. They were Kiyoko and Zehan.

They were still the same as those days.

The only change was with Kiyoko's body. Her body, which used to be slender, was no longer just that. She was significantly a bit thicker than before. And in place of her slender stomach…

Was now bulging and round…

"We are here to buy the mattress. What are we doing here buying baby dresses?"

"To buy dresses…" Zehan said as he put a dress on the shopping cart.

"We already have enough dresses at home which Aunty Fanny sent."

"Nope…it's not enough!" Zehan skimmed through the dresses which hung to the aisle.

Kiyoko signed and turned around and happened to see Sakura standing not too far away from them.

Sakura unconsciously wanted to hide when she met eyes with Kiyoko. But it was too late, Kiyoko had already recognized Sakura.

Kiyoko let a soft smile.

Sakura was helpless but she smiled back at Kiyoko.

Kiyoko was practicing yoga stretches on the exercise mat.

The television played the live morning news.

"Kiyoko…" Zehan placed a bowl of mixed nuts on the accent table. He helped Kiyoko to sit on the couch.

"Thanks…" Kiyoko said.

Kiyoko was heavily pregnant. It has been seven months.

"Where is Aunty Fanny?" Kiyoko asked Zehan.

"I think she went for a short walk." Zehan said. He put a walnut into Kiyoko's mouth.

Zehan moved towards the kitchen.

Aunty Fanny had come over to stay with them to help them out as Kiyoko's delivery was nearing.

"Ahh….Zehan…" Kiyoko yelped. "Quick! Come here!" She exclaimed, sensing the tiny life within her stir. She longed for Zehan to share in the moment with her.

"What happened?" Zehan anxiously rushed back when he heard Kiyoko yelped. "Are you in pain?"

"It's moving, can't you feel it?" Kiyoko urged, pulling Zehan's hand to her abdomen, where the baby was kicking and squirming.

Zehan smiled and stayed by her side as she excitedly shared the movements of their unborn child. He felt a sense of wonder and joy in seeing their child come to life within her.

Kiyoko finally released his hands once the baby settled down. He remained by her side, gazing at her lying on the couch.

Zehan touched his forehead to Kiyoko's swollen belly.

"Hey! Come out already! I can't wait any longer." Zehan mumbled.

Kiyoko burst out in laughter.

But it was few minutes later, Kiyoko burst out in tears over the fact that the fruits which Zehan cut for her were cut in a weird shape.

Mood swings are common for women during their pregnancy.
