All Might called the first 6 participants to take the practical exam, and one of the participants who was called was Xiao's number.

Every time he dodges the balloon, it would explode and emit smoke, the smoke being drawn into the currents would cause the smoke involved in air turbulence.

The electrons friction within the smoke causing lightning to start popping up along the currents Xiao was passing through.

The commotion caused by Xiao, makes him look like a God of Thunder descending to the earth.

And in just a matter of minutes, Xiao made it to the finish line.
