32 Chapter 32: Visiting the Imperial Palace

City was was now full with pedestrian in roads, markets and parks. When a huge uproar rumbled the city.

"Wow! Aren't they the Imperial Army?!"

"Shhh! Idiot do you want to get executed! Sorry Sir Knight, He is still young, he doesn't know his language." a civilian bowed to Imperial Knights apologetically, while Knights glared toward there direction.

"Cheh! Fucking peasant, Oy! Dero kill those maggots when there aren't public." Imperial Knight Roberto scoffed, giving order to his subordinate, as he rode his horse. His squadron following him.

In the City Lord Manor of HailNight, It has been total of 5 days since the war has been ended.

My Legion has also arrived in the city. They all amazed when they heard the achievement of there Commander, in short me.

While, I was currently sitting in the dinning room. I was having breakfast with City Lord Viscount Lowla, Margrave Vanelland and Froza Vanelland.

"Haha! Young Lord I am honoured, to think you have such high opinion about my niece." Margrave Vanelland laughed, patting the shoulder of his niece Froza.

"Uncle!!" shouted Froza with a cute pout, while I laughed. She was completely different from her usual cold demeanor.

"But, I didn't knew she was actually the daughter of Duke Vanelland." I said. I really didn't thought I could have a Duchie Princess as my subordinate and commanding her.

"I am sorry for not telling..." Froza lowered her head.

"Haha, No need to courteous Lady Fro—"

"Froza! Please call me like you used too before." she suddenly stopped me in mid-sentence. While, I gave a look to Margrave Vanelland who also didn't seemed to have any problem.

"Sure Froza, You can also call me by my name. No need for any honorifics." I said, causing Froza to give carry a smile to her face.

When, soon an guard entered the dinning, giving military salute, he spoke.

"My Lords! Imperial Knight Storm have arrived, he request Lord Vanelland and Lord Auguste presence."

"What? Didn't the Imperial army already retreated back to Capital? What is Roberto doing here?" Margrave Vanelland muttered to himself, while giving an glance at me.

"Excuse us Viscount Lowla for the inconvenience but I and Young Lord have to leave in the middle of our breakfast." Vanelland apologized, while Froza also stood up from her chair, telling she also wanted to come.

While, Me, Margrave Vanelland and Froza followed the guard to guest room, entering the room.

"Oh! My friend! Been a along since we last met. How have you been." when a heavy voice welcomed us. Looking over, a tall 6'9 man stood infront of me. He was wearing the Imperial Knight armor, with black cape. He had a X-marked scar in middle of his nose. He was the Imperial Knight Roberto Storm.

"Yeah, My friend long time no see, Hahah. I think we last met when you were appointed as a Imperial Knight." Vanelland laughed, giving a bear hug to Roberto. When Roberto turned his gaze at me.

"Hoo..! So, He is our Young Lord Auguste! It is my honour to meet you. I had heard the report of how you single-handedly massacred an army of 10,000." Roberto said, raising his hand to shake hands.

"Pleasure meeting you too, Sir Knight Roberto." I said, shaking hand with him, when all of the sudden I felt his grip getting tighter.

'Cheh! Old tricks of measuring.' smiling, I also shaked his hand firmly.

"Ughhh!" Roberto letting out a low grunt, soon tried to end our handshake.

"Haha, Young Lord is really strong." laughed Roberto nervously, rubbing his trembling hand. When, Margrave Vanelland who noticed it frowned alittle, while Froza didn't knew any of what was going on.

"Anyway, I was actually here by the order of His Majesty The Emperor. He actually had summoned Aaron and Young Lord to the Imperial Palace. We were send here to escort you two." Roberto stated the main reason of his arrival. While, we just accepted it.

"Sure sir Roberto, Then when are we moving?" I asked Roberto.

" His Majesty, wants you to arrive when Young Lord is healed completely and ready to travel."

"Sure, I am already healed. Let's head after we give our farewell to Viscount Lowla and other commander who helped us." I replied, I was too bored staying in these border town of the Empire. There was nothing interesting here.

"Are you sure, Young Lord? I think you should rest more." Margrave Vanelland said in concern.

"Its alright, Thanks for your worry but I am ready to travel. I was too tried just resting in my bed."

"Haha, Then lets quick bid your farewells and get going."

"I will inform His Majesty, that we will be leaving today." Knight Roberto said, while I also agreed.

When soon, I met with Viscount Lowla, bidding my farewell to him and my caretakers.

I arrived near the military camp, where I met up with my subordinates.

"Commander, It was really fun serving you! I hope we meet in the near future. I am sure, you will have turned into a fine man by then!" Raiger lesgo my First Battalion Commander said, while I gave him my farewell.

"It was fun, Commander. I am sure we can again met in the future. I hope we can once again exchange our sword with each other in future, like how we used to in Stone Town." Rezoro my Second Battalion Commander spoke, though he won't be able to withstand a single strike from me in future. I still have him a nod.

"Sir Commander, You were the best commander I ever served. I hope when you are big, I can give my alliance too you." David Walker my Fourth Battalion Commander said, he gave me a bow, while I smiled.

'Sure, If you are worthy to serve me.'

"I..I I am sorry fo..for not being any use, Commander! I-I hope in the future I hope I can be useful to you." Hina my Fifth Battalion Commander spoke nervously, while I gave her a head pat like how I used to do to my puppies back in the days.

"Commander, I didn't enjoyed alittle bit of time serving under you! You didn't even took me to a single mission! I was just made a gate keeper!" Aho my Sixth Battalion Commander complained, he glared at Froza who seemed to be the one to give him the gate keeper job.

"Sure Sure, Then I will be taking my leave then. I enjoyed my time with you, hope to meet you all in future." I said waiving them goodbye. I walked out of the entrance gate of HailNight City, Froza following me behind.

I saw a squadron of Knights in there horses. While Margrave Vanelland, Knight Roberto and Unit Leader Nazami Enec were infront of the squadron waiting for us.

"Young Lord and Lady Froza let us get going." Knight Roberto gestured.

"Sure."

Finally! After the long riding of eight days. I could see the huge Gate of Arwintar, the Capital of Baharuth Empire.

"Finally here! I was tired." I exclaimed, stretching my arms. Soon, we were stopped by the Gate keeper. When, Roberto showed his military badge and while we entered the

Capital.

Riding horses, we walked in the road made of bricks. I looked around the architectures of the Capital. When, I came here before. I was inside the carriage so, I didn't get to see the architectures of the Capital expect the Imperial Palace.

Now looking at this architectures, I have to say the architecture and layout of the city is quite advanced, compared to modern standards. The roads of the city were also segregated into separate lanes to allow for ease of traffic.

Riding in the Central Market of the Capital. I had to say, even when Empire wasn't developed like that showed in the anime. The Empire was still quite prosperous.

"Young Lord, What do you think of Central Market? Quite lively isn't it?" when Knight Roberto asked, while I had to nod in agreement.

The bustling of pedestrian, the shouts and calling of the shopkeepers. The entire environment of this market gave me the vibe I got when I went to the fish market of my world.

"Yeah it indeed is quite lively, Looking at the happy faces of this civilians. Emperor really has taken care of his civilians." I said, while with little chit-chatting. We soon arrived near the entrance of the Grand Imperial Palace.

"Sir Roberto! Sir Vanelland! Welcome back!" when the gate keeper soon gave a salute.

"Oh yeah, Go inform His Majesty. Young Lord Auguste has arrived." our escort Knight Roberto ordered the guard, when there gaze immediately turned to me.

"Wh-what! He is the Lord Auguste?!" exclaimed the gatekeeper in shock, when Roberto glared at him. Making him to quickly ran with he wind.

While, we entered the Palace under the escort of Knight Roberto, We arrived near a room.

"Lord Auguste please come inside."

Knight Roberto said, while only letting me enter the room. Entering the room, I was greeted by old man and two young ladies by his side.

"Lord Auguste is assume?"

"Yes." I said, when they bowed before taking our a measure tape.

"We were ordered by His Majesty to take your measure for a tuxedo. I hope your cooperation." he said, while I didn't say anything. I guess Emperor was planning to give a party in my name.

Soon, taking my measure. I exited the room.

"Young Lord, did you took your measure?" asked Margrave Vanelland, Froza stood behind him.

"Yes, I have. Now, What to do Sir escort?" I said jokingly, turning to Roberto.

"Lord Auguste now let me take you to tour the Palace." Knight Roberto offered, while Vanelland also agreed. When, I turned around to see Froza also excited to hear touring Palace.

It seems like she also haven't roamed around the Imperial Palace. That is know for its otherworldly beauty.

"Well Well, You people can go too tour. But, I have to take my student to tour my Ministry." when suddenly Fluder voice rang, he teleported infront of the us.

"My Lord!' both Aaron and Roberto bowed insight of Fluder, Froza also giving a gracious bow.

"What do you mean by that, Teacher! No way I am going to your Ministry that is filled with those old geezers!" I said, because he had once brought me to Ministry of Magic on secret when I was young.

Where I got to met many species of Old geezers.

"Hey! They all are my researchers! And you are coming with me to Ministry!" Fluder ordered, I refused. Fluder said, I refused. Fluder asked, I refused. Fluder begged, I accepted.

"Good! Now come with me brat!" Fluder said, grabbing me by the wrist. He raised his staff.

"‹Teleport›" Fluder immediately teleported us infront of the Ministry of Magic, where many acolyte, magic caster and knights immediately turned toward us.

But, soon greeted seeing it was Fluder.

"Let's head in brat! I want to see that Talent of yours now." Fluder said excited, kicking open the door with his old-skinny leg.

"Teacher, Please remember your age and take care of your old bones. You can't go kicking doors, You aren't young anymore. What if you die? I will have to inherit your properties." I said to Fluder with concerning voice.

"Brat! I won't die until I uncover every mystery of magic!" Fluder harrumphed, while he hurriedly walked in the hall.

"Master! Welcome back!"

"Yeah Yeah, I am back back. Quickly open the Duel room." said Fluder taking to god knows where.
