200 year old witch Queen()

Ruby inhaled the chilly air that traveled through his lungs. He stared at the queen. "Can I ask you a question?"

The queen hiked her eyebrows and nodded her head.

"If you were in my situation, would you accept this deal?" Ruby wasn't planning to throw all his plans out just for greed. Although the magic affinity would be beneficial to him, he still valued his life more.

If he had finished his quest, he would have considered the deal. But right now, it's a big No!

The queen smiled and stared at Ruby, who tried to avoid her gaze. Her gaze seemed to bewitch him and It made him think that it was the reason why all the other people here stared at her with admiration.

"If you know the deal we're speaking about, I don't think you'll hesitate one bit."

"What do you mean? And by the way, what's the deal?" Due to the high chance of him probably dying, he had not even heard what the mission was.

"The deal is simple."

'It's not!'

The queen continued: "You'd just need to get rid of the supes then we're done."

'Get rid of the supes? Not like I have any problems with that.' Ruby smirked. 'But why do the witches also want them dead?'

Ruby jolted out of his thoughts and asked. "You could have said that earlier, and for starters, I don't think that my chance of survival is that low."

If it was before he got the system, Ruby would have agreed that his survival chance was that low, but everything changed after he bonded with the system.

He believed his survival rate was higher than that. And coupled with the new functions of the system he discovered bit by bit, he knew he could maybe complete the quest.

"Why did you say so? You have a trump card or something?"

'I can't tell her that I have a system.' Ruby thought as he stared at the Queen.

"I don't have a trump card, but it would still be hard for them to catch me, and I might kill a lot of them before they get me, but I guess with the magic affinity you're offering, I could maybe stand a chance."

Yup, this was his approach if he wanted the magic affinity.

"I see. I like your confidence." The Queen sat up straight from her crouched posture and asked, "Do you know that there are mountains that are taller than mountains?"

"I know, and I believe that I'm one of those mountains." Ruby knew exactly what she meant. She meant that there were people stronger than him.

"Hahahaha!" The queen suddenly burst into a fit of laughter. the creepy kind of laughter, but for some reason, the laughter sounded pleasant to the ears.

Ruby didn't know why, but he guessed he was just thinking things.

"I'm glad we didn't make any mistakes in selecting you for this mission. But in a way, the mission is not only beneficial to us. It would also benefit you since we all have the same goal here."

"You're right. I also have a deep hatred for those suckers, and I'd really love to see all of them go extinct, so in a way, this is also my mission."

"It's also your mission, like you said, so we could just keep the affinity we're offering you, but you'll still have to carry out the mission because you have no option." The witch queen said.

Ruby stared at the beautiful woman, who he just found out was actually 200 years old. He knew that what the Queen said was the truth. He'd have to hunt the supes with or without their help. But extra help will guarantee his chance of success.

"Yes, you're right, but with extra help, I have better chances of completing this mission. It's okay if you want to change your mind, but can you just call out the witch that brought me here so that I can leave?"

'Do I have any option? I wanted to keep that dark magic for my daughters or myself since I want it to run in the family, but I guess I'll have to give it up for the greater goo—wait.' The witch queen sprang out of her thoughts as she suddenly had an idea. 'If I get my daughter to marry him, then the dark affinity would still be in the family.'

She smiled slightly and began to scrutinize Ruby with her eyes. It felt like she was undressing him with each second.

Ruby found her behavior a bit weird, but he didn't do anything about it. After all, this wasn't the first time someone had stared at him. Still, it felt weird because the other person was 200 years old.

"I've made up my mind." The queen eventually said. "We'd give you the magic affinity, but in return, you'd have to do something return."

'Yeah, we go. I knew that there would be cash. Not like I expected them to just give me the affinity.' After his brief monologue, he asked. "I was expecting this, so what is it?"

"Simple you'd have to marry my daughter."

Gasp! A series of gasps escaped the lips of all the cloaked figures, and they all veered their gazes toward the only figure who was uncloaked.

Seeing their stares, Emerald fiddled with her hands as she stared at the ground, avoiding all the other witches' gazes.

"I don't see a problem with that." Ruby's answers left everyone speechless. They had expected him to refuse the offer, but come to think of it, Emerald was a smart, curvy, beautiful witch who would make all dick spring up. Maybe some gays would also love pussy again.

"Good, then we shall start the initiation!" The witch queen declared as she sprang to her feet, her long, glowing purple hair swaying behind her.

'Hope the initiation won't be like those movies where they'd make me drink blood.' Ruby thought as he waited for what the queen would say next.

"Come to me!" She waved her hand, gesturing for Ruby to approach her.

Seeing the gesture, Ruby strode towards her, closing the distance between them.

The witch queen proceeded to draw some strange, shimmering purple pattern in the air. Then a bit later, the purple pattern expanded into a portal that was constantly spiraling around.

Without permission from Ruby, the Queen took his hands in a firm grip as she yanked him into the portal.

The duo appeared in a hall. The walls of the hall were coated with dust, but one could depict the bizarre ancient text written on them.

The room had high ceilings and a shattered chandelier dangling, with chunks of it lying on the ground. The azure-glow pool in the middle, however, was the only thing that fascinated Ruby.

After peeking around, he turned to the Witch Queen, and his mouth dropped to the floor.

The witch queen stood naked, staring back at him.
