Upon hearing the system's question, Bozo merely smirked.
"Who do you think I am?", he questioned.

Bozo nodded and added, "Yes, I do."

He tapped his chin as he thought further.

He was about to ask about other missions and if there were any timer-related or how long could he take to complete them when all of a sudden, the system interrupted him.

Before Bozo could say anything else, a shadow became visible in front of the sliding door in the front.
Accompanying it was a soft feminine voice, "Jie, I'm entering."

Bozo's eyes widened when he saw her for the first time.
'Wait, something's wrong…', Bozo felt the surge of adrenaline causing his heart to beat louder and faster.
Every time he looked at Yiyi and her cat-like walk, he couldn't help but fluster.
'No, seriously… My body… this feeling is different from hate or disgust!', Bozo thought to himself.
"Jie!", calling out his name, Yiyi leapt towards him, ultimately hugging him.
"Y-", Bozo was surprised by this move.
"Jie, you are awake! Do you know how worried I was!?", Yiyi asked, a few drops of tears drizzling down her eyes.
However, Bozo remained quiet, not responding.
'Hey, help me out. Tell me about this main event… and who is she!?'

[One of the main events of the novel is when Yiyi visits Chen Jie who wakes up after being asleep for 12 days. She tells about her marriage that has been decided and asks Chen to stop her… She tries to kiss him, but Chen refuses and says he loves his fiancée, unaware that she had plotted the poisoning incident.]
[Yiyi leaves Chen, and goes away to her marriage, the night of which she kills herself, for she cannot even imagine sleeping with someone other than Chen Jie…]

As Yiyi hugged Bozo, he merely raised his right hand and patted her back.
This action, however, surprised Yiyi who all of a sudden opened her eyes wide. She pulled herself back and stared at Chen.
"You…"
"Yeah…?"
"Is something wrong?", Jie asked, staring right at Yiyi.
"No… that's… You never did this before."
"Really…?"
Yiyi nodded her head before saying, "You would always kick me out, haha…"
A drop of tear left her eye again and she smiled, happy that she was holding a conversation with Jie.
"Ah, I was rude previously… Haha.", Bozo laughed out.
Yiyi again stared at him, confused further.
"No seriously, you are not behaving the way you used to…", she said, squinting her eyes a bit.
"Well, after suffering the pain of Qi Dev-, ahem…"
"I had a change of heart.", he said.
Hearing that, Yiyi moved a bit closer to him, hugging him again. Her huge breasts touched his chest, giving him little warmth.
Bozo thought that she was going for a mere hug, but then, she pushed him further on the bed.
His head touched the soft pillow as Yiyi climbed above him.
"Say, um, can we…", she slowly pulled her veil to the side, almost removing it.
Huff huff-
Bozo could feel Yiyi's heavy breath as her face loomed quite close to him. However, he also felt an insatiable urge to push her away at the same time.
Yiyi slowly moved her face closer and closer, attempting to kiss as both of their eyes remained fixated on each other.
But Bozo… he moved his head to the other side, rejecting her advances.
Yiyi's eyes almost teared up in a second as she asked, "You still love her, Jie?"
Bozo didn't reply.
"But you said you had a change in heart…", Yiyi bit her own lips as she asked.
As she clenched her fist again, a drop of tear left her eyes and fell on Jie's face. She pulled herself back and stood up, shaking her head while her body trembled.
"Forget it…", she said.
Bozo was still lying on the bed when he saw Yiyi walking away.
"I am glad that you are alive…", saying this, she merely walked out of the room.
Bozo, now all alone, replayed the moments that happened.
[You moron! What did you do!?], then came the system's taunts.
"I-"
[You just let her go just like that! Heck, you even changed the plot! She didn't even ask you to stop her!], the system was infuriated.
However Bozo, he had his own share of excuses to make, such as, he wasn't all that comfortable with a human, nor was he ready for the upcoming plot and advances. But he didn't complain to the system.
Goblin code, Second Fang: Never make excuses. If you lose, it's because you were pathetic and weak at the time. Excuses make you weaker! Stand strong and learn from your mistakes. Rectify them!
Bozo clenched his fist and almost instantly, walked out of the bed.
