Outspreading my wings, I leaped at the sky,
Reaching for stars, far beyond and high.
Often, there was fear of falling altogether,
Not being able to rise even a little further.
.
Though the fact of me plummeting several times stated:
Another collapse might not seem to hurt that much.
Would not lie, I am scared this once,
To build up the guilt in my heart with only a single touch.
.
Maybe my wings won't hold out, or a storm may strike.
The ground can even shatter, I might never take this flight.
But fear of the unknown is eternal in our heart,
Utilized quite often, to raise anxiousness in songs of a bard.
.
"Fear's the mind-killer", was said by one,
Weight of it, now I have comprehended.
As the journey I take in the time to come,
Always there will be a path when my hopes are dead.
.
So once again I outspread my wings, to leap at the sky,
Reach the stars, far beyond and high.
It is all bright up there, as I stand on the green plain.
A 'One-Piece' for me is waiting, nothing is in vain, nothing is in vain.

"One-Piece" is a reference to the legendary treasure in the Japanese Manga series by Eiichiro Oda.
Welcome back. So this one I wrote while deciding which subjects/path I'll take in my high school Grades 11th & 12th. You see in my place, taking Humanities isn't having quite a good impression. I had to fight my way through family and society to pursue my passion, and here I am! I was honestly so confused, scared, and daring back then.
